We stayed 3 nights at this beautiful house, Kaethe the owner and her son are such lovely and helpful, make you feel comfortable straight away. The house was very clean and equipped with everything you need.We had our little Yorkshire and didn't stop running in the garden, outside area is massive and very safe as the gate is all close so my dog couldn't run away. We were able to do the check- in early morning.The pool is massive and very clean and also enjoyed one evening a BBQ.Thank you to Kaethe and her son for a wonderful stay much appreciated.Surely will go back again.

Familienurlaub auf Sizilien mit 2 kleinen Kindern
Wir haben unseren Familienurlaub in dieser Wohnung sehr genossen. Vor allem der Pool ist ein absolutes Highlight, besonders für die Kinder. Aber auch der restliche Außenbereich ist sehr großzügig und lädt v.a. zum Grillen ein.
Frau Salemi war eine äußerst freundliche Gastgeberin und wir können diese Wohnung nur empfehlen.

Wir haben uns bei unserem Besuch Ende Juni auf dem schön gepflegten Anwesen, in der Ferienwohnung selbst sowie dem herrlichem Poolbereich sehr wohl gefühlt!
Die diskrete,entspannte und wirklich sehr freundliche Eigentümerin war immer ansprechbar.

Ein toller Aufenthalt!
Wir haben die Zeit in Casa-Linde sehr genossen. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gross und perfekt ausgestattet. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Die Zimmer sind super sauber. Die Vermieterin hat uns den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht und steht bei Bedarf mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, hält sich aber diskret zurück. Der Pool war ein Traum. Sehr gross und nur für uns. Die Lage der Wohnung ist ideal. In 12 Minuten zum Strand, stadtnah aber trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Viele Einkaufsmärkte und Restaurants in direkter Umgebung. Leider gingen unsere 9 Tage Aufenthalt viel zu schnell vorüber - es hätte noch viel mehr zu entdecken gegeben....

Rez-de-jardin très sympa
La location se compose d'un rez-de-jardin très bien équipé. Les installations sont assez anciennes (rideaux pour les douches, bidet...) mais d'une propreté irréprochable et tout fonctionne parfaitement.
La propriétaire Kaethe et son fils Marcello sont hyper discrets et totalement disponibles en cas de besoin.
Le jardin privatisé pour les locataires est formidable. La piscine est grande, très bien entretenue et avec des chaises longues.
De nombreuses serviettes de toilette et de plage sont fournies.
Terrasse avec barbecue, balancelle, tables...
On peut garer la voiture à l'ombre.
Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

Exceptionallygreat property
Exceptionally great property. Clean and have practically everything one needs when on holiday, including a huge and clean swimming pool. We liked the fact that although having two bedrooms, it has two separate complete bathrooms which makes it more comfortable and private. Having a washing machine made it easier for us not to carry a lot of clothes. Thank you for the owners. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour.
Cette villa est conforme aux descriptifs et la propriétaire est à l'écoute et n'hésite pas à nous rendre service.
Piscine et jardin très agréable, tout y est : chaise longue, diverses tables dans le jardin.
L'équipement cuisine est très satisfaisant : il ne manque rien, tout à était penser pour rendre notre séjour agréable.

Bellissima proprietà a Modica!
È stato un soggiorno dal Sabato al Mercoledì. Una graziosa villetta, ben rifinita, con giardino fiorato, piscina, sdraio, ombrelloni, verde e dettagli curati, BBQ, dondolo. Due camere da letto, due bagni, una grande cucina soggiorno con tutte le comodità. I proprietari assolutamente disponibili, accomodanti, discreti e nello stesso tempo presenti, garantiscono privacy e supporto ad ogni necessità, La Signora è dolcissima, ci ha fatto pure una buonissima torta alle mele con marmellata di limoni del suo giardino. Gentilissimi anche con il nostro pastore tedesco, che si è divertito tanto. Una esperienza per evadere dalla città e dalla vita di appartamento, a pochi minuti dal centro storico di Modica, cittadina del cioccolato, dagli scenari mozzafiato. Voto: 10!

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön, wie beschrieben mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet und sauber. Auch wir durften uns von der sehr gastfreundlichen Vermieterin über Kuchen, Obst, selbstgemachte Marmelade und eine Flasche Wein freuen. Außerdem stand Frau Wuttig Salemi jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung. Wir können die Ferienwohnung nur weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank und liebe Grüße.

Casa Linde
Die Unterkunft war mehr als perfekt, wir waren rundum zufrieden. Es hat einem an nichts gefehlt. Die Vermieterin war sehr gastfreundlich. Die gesamte Unterkunft war sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und man hat alles gefunden was man für einen sorglosen Aufenthalt benötigt hat. Der Pool wurde jeden Morgen gereinigt. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Casa Linde und können diese wunderschöne Unterkunft nur jedem weiter empfehlen.
Vielen Dank für alles Frau Wuttig, wir würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen.

Toller Urlaub bei netter Gastgeberin
Wir wurden bei unserer Ankunft von Frau Wuttig Salemi herzlich empfangen.
Zu unserem Urlaubsstart erhielten wir Obst vom Garten, selbstgebackenen Kuchen, Marmelade und eine Flasche Wein. Es war alles sehr lecker! Nochmals Danke hierfür.
Unsere Unterkunft entspricht zu 100% der Beschreibung.
Es ist alles für einen reibungslosen Urlaub vorhanden (Handtücher, Waschmaschine,….). Küche ist ebenfalls hervorragend ausgestattet.
Die vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten sind alle perfekt zum Frühstücken, den Abend mit Wein genießen oder mit den Kindern spielen. Jeder findet ein gemütliches Fleckchen.
Frau Wuttig Salemi hat einen sehr gepflegten Garten mit vielen Bäumen (Oliven, Zitronen, Granatapfel, Palmen,......), der sehr einladend wirkt.
Der Pool ist hervorragend und steht zur alleinigen Nutzung zur Verfügung. Schön groß, gepflegt und sauber. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und täglich benutzt. Unsere Kinder wollten hier garnicht mehr raus.
Die Lage der Unterkunft ist außerhalb von Modica, aber doch zentral für diverse Ausflüge und Einkäufe.
In die schöne Altstadt von Modica sind es nur wenige Minuten mit dem Auto zu fahren. Nach Scicli (sehr zu empfehlen) sind es auch nur ca. 15 Minuten zu fahren.
Zu den vielen hervorragenden flachen Sandstränden, z.B. Marina di Modica, Sampieri,… sind es ebenfalls nur ca. 15 Minuten Fahrtzeit.
Wir konnten Frau Wuttig Salemi stets nach Information und Ausflugtipps fragen und wurden hier toll versorgt. Als wir Probleme mit dem Mietwagen hatten, hatte Sie telefonisch vermittelt. Nochmals vielen Dank dafür.
In den 14 Urlaubstagen vor Ort fühlten wir uns sehr wohl und werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen. Unsere Kinder hatten sehr viel Spaß und vermissen jetzt schon die netten Gespräche mit Frau Wuttig Salemi.

Siamo stati benissimo. La casa è perfetta, molto funzionale e molto pulita. Lo spazio esterno è ideale per rilassarsi con la piscina, l’area BBQ , un dondolo enorme, e vari tavoli e sdraio. Pur essendo in una zona abbastanza trafficata, lo spazio esterno è molto privato e rilassante grazie alle bellissime piante e ai muri di cinta. Kaethe è molto gentile e disponibile. La comunicazione è stata perfetta. Abbiamo avuto un piccolo problema col microonde e si è adoperata immediatamente per rimpiazzarlo. Dall la casa è facilissimo raggiungere il centro di Modica ma anche Ragusa, Scicli e varie spiagge nell’arco di 20 minuti o mezz’ora.
Speriamo di tornare presto e la consiglierò sicuramente ad amici e parenti

Fabulous stay.
The directions to the house were very good and it was easy to find. Kathe even met us at the gate and showed us the way in! We had loads of space - the lower floor of the house. It was located in a quiet area south of Modica. There was an extensive outside area with ample seating and shade, 2 patios and a lovely swimming pool. The apartment was well equipped. Kathe was a very hospitable host and gave us some homemade marmalade and freshly baked warm cake. We really enjoyed staying here.

Our family inc kids(22yrs & 17yrs)lol, Were literally thrilled as we turned into electric gated villa grounds.Kaethe the host was very welcoming speaking German italian and much more english that I knew italian! Superb trees, palms,flowers, olive trees in a garden & grounds that will be forever jealous of, surround the accommodation on all sides. Plenty of parking.
The out door spaces excel with the variety of seating, loungers & table options available to choose from in and out of shade.The good sized pool is kept clean both inside and out. kaethe is very discreet in her pool & grounds maintainace. The accom is set to side of small town, but it's budget cost, so should really expect a little traffic & community sounds. This doesn't however detract from it feeling safe and private.
Inside the accom is generous with functional sized bedrooms 2 full bathrooms & washing machine... Which we used daily( August was hot as expected but also very humid!) so only lightest clothes could be worn but no probs, as able to wash & dry in hours.
Fabulous location to see historical caves, amazing architecture in nearby towns or beautiful sandy beaches in nature reserves all within 20mins - 45 mins easy car journey
THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS ARE NOT ABOUT THE ACCOM,WHICH WAS EXCELLENT
**Only warning-Mosquitoes in italy & med there is a new species called TIGER MOSQUITOES. you will need the highest protection even if dont usually get bitten. They shouldn't affect holiday if you have protection. I always react ( have even had two trips to emergency over the years in other countries ) so always take precautions creams sprays candles etc but these mos' bite during day as well as night and causing problems to locals & holiday makers. I used up all my own anti mos' supplies & tried local ones but still ended up in giant red welts.
LUCKILY THE BEAUTIFUL POOL SOLVED ITCHING and kept me cool.

Amazing holiday home, perfect for a family. The pool is so lovely.
The property is spacious and comfortable. The outdoor area is amazing, with so much comfortable seating and a really great barbecue area. Then down a slope to the beautiful pool. A really private area, the pool is so clean, and hardly any chlorine, so no irritating eyes!
Kaethe is a very welcoming host, we really enjoyed staying there and meeting her.
The surrounding coastline is varied and interesting. Plenty of big waves and sandy beaches. Also great areas for snorkelling in the crystal clear waters.
The nearest town, Modica is a lovely day out, and also Scicili is a really interesting town nestled in a deep valley.
A wonderful place, sunny climate, but with a nice breeze. Very friendly people. Wholly recommend it.

WELL-EQUIPPED APARTMENT WITH LOVELY HOST
We enjoyed our stay at Casa Linde. It's a spacious very clean and well-equipped apartment with excellent outdoor facilities. In November the pool was closed but there was varied and flexible seating on the extensive patio which enabled us to catch some of the welcome sun. Käthe was a lovely host, bringing us fresh oranges and lemons and some wonderful cake! There are supermarkets nearby and the marvellous baroque town centres of this area are easily accessible. The main road nearby led down to Marina di Modica and we were able to relish warm sun by the Med at the pleasant bar on the beach. There are couple of points worth noting. The TV has just Sky news in English (we took a laptop with downloads and Netflix...). Casa Linde can be found up the road opposite the Peugot/Citroen dealer which leads to the small AST depot (the current HomeAway map shows it further along the main road!). If coming from the motorway from Catania it's better to follow the Google route rather than the Garmin Satnav one we used.
We'd recommend Casa Linde as a good all-year-round choice for south-east Sicily.

Brilliant value and a delightful property.
We (m husband and I and two kids aged 4 and 2) were delighted with Kaethe's property. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped - Kaethe had thought of everything you might need. The huge garden was a delight to relax in and the pool was pristine and in a really lovely setting. Kaethe was very welcoming and friendly, baked us a delicious cake, told us when there were local events happening she thought we would enjoy and even bought presents for our children. Casa Linde was in a quiet and felt secluded and was brilliantly placed for visiting all the beautiful towns nearby. You will need a car if you stay here but apart from that it is perfect. Incredibly good value and a wonderful host - I can't recommend it highly enough.

A haven
Such a relaxing place to stay and Kaethe was a gracious and thoughtful host. We were warmly welcomed and made to feel instantly at home. She was on hand to help but discreet so you felt the place was yours to enjoy. The children loved making lemonade from the lemons growing in her garden. All in all, a very happy few days. Highly recommend Kaethe and Casa Linde!

We stayed in this lovely apartment for 5 nights in March. The owner, Kaethe (and her friend Beate), were super nice and we felt very welcomed when we arrived. A bottle of wine, some marmalade and lemons and flowers from the garden awaited us in the kitchen ! Kaethe had made some orange marmalade, which was absolutely delicious - the best marmalade we had ever tasted! She also brought us some lovely cake one morning!
The apartment was very clean and very well equipped. We slept comfortably in the nice double bed. The kitchen had everything you could need and we made a nice breakfast every morning. Supermarkets and other shopping outlets were close by, within walking distance.
We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone and we hope to return some day!

Excellent place to stay
We stayed here for a very enjoyable week and have only good impressions, experiences and memories. Pietro and Kaethe (the hosts) were fabulous - very welcoming, often bringing gifts and always making sure everything was OK. Location was fine, but you do need a car and it is difficult to find (it is down a side road - but this makes it very quiet). however it is a good central spot to explore the surrounding area (Modica, Ragussa and Noto). The gardens are beautiful and the pool must be great in the summer. Highly recommended.

Highly recommendable!
Casa Linde is a very well equipped holiday home, with a large shady patio surrounded by citrus and olive trees. The swimming pool was clean and inviting, even if the water was at this time of year rather cool. Käthe and Pietro were lovely hosts and did everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. They even brought us lettuce and lemons from their garden.
The accommodation is well situated for trips to the sea and to see all the wonderful Baroque towns in the surrounding area. We visited Ragusa, Noto, Siracusa and of course Modica. We enjoyed the holiday immensely and we would love to come back to Casa Linde in order to see everything we have unfortunately not had time for in a week.

Shops/banks/bars are all nearby, Modca Marina (seaside) just a 15 min drive - go to the western end of Modica Marina further along the road for easier parking and better access to the sea.
Tip - If arriving at Catania use the now fully open motorway all the way to Rossolini then come to Modica via Ispica. Follow motorway signs to Syracuse then towards Gela - do not be tempted by the 194 via Lentini to Ragusa through the mountains it's an extra hours driving.
If you choose to come to explore this area you will be sure to have a good holiday.
