This is a beautiful location. The only negative was at night you could hear the interstate, but it was not enough to keep us awake. The inside of the property is wonderful, immaculately clean, very well stocked and equipped. It feels very isolated, but is in fact, very convenient to western Knoxville and Farragut. Can't wait to return!

The stay went well. Saw Jan twice while she was instructing with horses but never spoke. Husband went out of way to say hello and if all was okay which was appreciated. Our golden retriever Brodie enjoyed his walks up their Blue Tick Rd where we saw deer every evening. He also met their two dogs on our morning walks. The cottage had everything we needed. There is a road close to the cottage called Buttermilk.Rd. There are two quarries and Vulcan, a company, that excavates construction aggregate materials that is on this Buttermilk Rd and the quarry close to the cottage. During business hours there was alot of dust along with truck noise from them hauling materials and driving fast. The cottage was peaceful and quiet after business hours .No one else mentioned the trucks and quarries, If gone most of day then wouldn"t notice. The location is close to the interstate so anywhere you wanted to go was convenient.

The home was immaculate and had everything you would need. The host was very friendly and ready to assist if you need anything. The horse farm is fun to watch them train the horses. The host encourages you to visit the horse barn. I would truly encourage renting this house. You will not be sorry

We picked this location due to its proximity to parks, walking trails and West Knoxville business meetings. We were pleasantly surprised by the many helpful amenities including excellent Wi-Fi, excellent air conditioning, safe parking area near the entrance, private laundry area, two full bathrooms, two full porches with lovely views, large windows with peaceful garden views and a full-size refrigerator in the kitchen.
Most of the properties available at this price-point did not have as much privacy or space for cooking, visitors, parking or relaxing outdoors. In addition, most camping cabins we have rented in the past are very dusty and cramped, with cracks around the doors, small windows with poor ventilation and small refrigerators.
This charming cottage was a surprising upgrade. It was much more quiet and clean than any cabin we have rented in a campground. Given our love of the outdoors, we don't enjoy sterile or modern resorts and found the peacefulness very relaxing.
An added bonus is the amazing natural spring water. We noticed an immediate difference in our skin and hair after showering. Even our coffee and food tasted much better with fresh water from their well. We wish we could have brought some of this water with us!

Loved seeing the horses. Jan was super friendly and overall great stay. Only downside was there were alot of bugs inside and it didn't smell to good inside. Other then that it was great.

This is a great house to rent. With an older teen, it was great to have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. And while we didn't plan on cooking, we ended up making dinner there one night. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Because we were out most of the day, we didn't get to see the horses. Hopefully we can spend some daylight hours there next time.

Great cabin! Had everything we needed for the week we were there. Centrally located for the areas around Knoxville we visited. Jan and Rob were great hosts! We'd definitely recommend their cabin/cottage. Oh, and watching the horses graze right outside our window was a bonus!

I will be back. Perfect relaxing stay, minutes from Knoxville, Farragut and Lenoir City but it feels as though you are in the middle of the mountains. Horses, dogs and great hosts. Restful!

We needed a place to stay close to Farragut because of a loss in our family of a cousin’s wife. We drove from Texas and had our two dogs so of course we needed a “pet friendly” place to stay too! This was perfect being less than 20 minutes from the places we needed to go. The house has a great floor plan and was plenty roomy enough for dog crates and all of the “stuff” we travel with:). It was nice to have a back yard to walk the dogs in when needed. Because our pups are mini Aussies we hesitated to let them off leash since they might jump the fence. It was shorter than our fencing at home. The drive up to the house was winding and two narrow lanes but so beautiful because of the trees growing together forming canopies to drive through! We enjoyed the country setting as a restful place after the emotional times that we shared with our relatives.
Jan was super good at communication and hospitality. This is always so appreciated by myself and my husband. We were comfortable and cozy during our stay and would definitely use this home again!

Check in was easy and the property was easy to find. The home was the perfect size for my family of four and very clean inside. My children loved seeing the horses and playing in yard. Would be a great place for people with families and pets to stay.

We checked in late in the afternoon, the same day the previous guests checked out, and the cottage was immaculate. This is our second stay at this site, and it will not be our last. Bravo.

We rented this property while attending a work related seminar in Loudon, Tennessee. The home was conveniently located to Loudon. Our visit was our second stay at this property. The well maintained and equipped home was perfect for our three-day stay. Lots of room for us to spread out and we enjoyed the quiet and beautiful scenery. We loved being located next to a working horse farm. We would definitely stay here again.

This property offered some respite from the rest of our days of swimming and Regatta. It was convenient to the rowing venue in Oak Ridge, and amenities were within a short drive away. The hosts, Jan and Rob were great, and our dogs really enjoyed meeting the friendly horses over the fence.

The cottage is located close to I-40 in a quiet country setting on a horse farm. Very private. Wonderfully stocked. Jan the host is a terrific communicator. Easy access to I-40 makes it a great place do things in Knoxville while staying away from the hustle-bustle.

A great place for us and our dogs. All the necessities and more were provided to ensure a pleasurable stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The big perks were the fenced yard so that we could easily release our dogs and a quiet location that provided restful sleep.
The cabin had several pungent diffusers that we were not a fan off. We put them in the second room and shut the door. After about 24hrs we felt that the smell was better. Our first night it got quite cold and the heater couldn’t keep up. That night and morning was pretty chilly in the cabin. We have stayed in similar places that have provided an extra heater, which would have been used here. The other nights did not get near as cold so it wasn’t an issue after that. We have also always appreciated hosts who leave a binder/folder with instructions for checkout. There were no directions to be found in the cabin or app, so I had to reach out to the host to ask.

This little house has been outfitted down to the last detail for comfort and design. Cotton sheets! Luxurious towels. It wasn’t furnished with leftovers from the owner’s home, I’m guessing. It was a pleasure to stay there.
