Ground floor was easy to access from front door. Clean place! Everything thing I needed for kitchen to cook. Water pressure was excellent - always hot water. Bed was firm for my back. Very quiet in neighbourhood and in building.
Upright washing machine with it's door being closed a long time between uses - was very mildewy in the gaskets. Took quite a few wipes with cleaner but ran the machine a couple of times - good as new. Suggest to have in SOP instructions to leave the door open when tenants leave to prevent this in the future.

Location. It is essentially quiet and convenient by foot to Rue Ontario for shopping and restaurants and a quick drive to downtown. The rooms appear as pictured. There is a lot of natural light.
Unfortunately, there is no smell-a-vision on the internet. This place features: Sketchy upkeep! Smells! You're greeted with a punch of gross, cigarette stink as soon as you open the building door. Then, you're met with the disgusting combination of of mildew, cat urine and stale cigarettes stench in the rooms. There was also a lack of attention to simple details like not leaving a dirty mess for guests to clean: dirty dishes in the dish washer, wet, smelly laundry in the washer; smelly ratty-looking towels in the dryer; urine-stained linens on the bed; a completely stained, lumpy couch; and an ancient, equally dirty blanket/throw on the couch. Then safety issues, like no curtain in the kitchen window that looks directly into a neighbor's window and no safety mat in the tub (the bruises covering my right leg are just fading after 5 days). It's so disappointing and I would have left except it was late when I arrived and instead I spent the first few hours in these rooms doing all the laundry and sanitizing the mattress before I redressed it in fresh-washed sheets. Ironically, it was a good thing there was a laundry facilities in the rooms since I had to use them to wash the linens. Then, I had to wait for the dryer to finish the towels so I could shower afterwards. Frankly, if it wasn't for the lovely, walkable neighborhood I still would have left. But, by the time I finished a mammoth clean up, at least the rooms were liveable. Whoever is doing the management for these rooms needs to step it up!

One of our favourite properties on a 5 week road trip. Lots of charm. Well appointed. Bright, clean, comfortable.

There is nothing we liked....we couldn't find a parking spot when we arrived and there are homeless people everywhere asking for cash.
The hosts could have provided more towels and not turn off Netflix

Decent location. Close to the Depaneur and just a few km. east of downtown. The Terrace / balcony on the the top floor was amazing - there is a table, a few chairs and wraps around the entire unit and the view of Montreal is amazing.
The communication of confirmations and access codes required several phone calls back and fort between the host and myself. It required a significant amount for effort and phone calls back and forth. However, the host did accommodate and extra night stay at the building in a different unit. Door handles are very old and finicky to work with - they should be replaced soon.

Good neighbourhood, well furnished house comfortable bed fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with a first aid kit
some of the things like chairs are old and already broken but they leave them there so that they can retain your security deposit.
the staff are also really rude and not helpful and are never around when you need help with something.

Good wifi. Amazing pillows. Good options for TV - netflix, prime, etc. Well furnished kitchen!
They gave a code for the front door but didn’t mention where or how to use it. I had to use the emergency key in the lockbox. The building smelled of cigarettes and the room also had a weird smell. The little couch was so springy, it was impossible to sit on. There was no recycling bin.. in 2022, seriously? They say parking is included, but they mean finding your own parking spot in the streets. That is false advertising.

Nothing at all
No elevator, drug addicts everywhere which was hard because I there with my young daughter. Dirty smelling surroundings. I had maggots in the apartment. Noisy neighbours, played music all night and nobody to complain to

Place itself was much larger than anticipated. The roof was neat too - we were able to catch fireworks unexpectedly.
Although there was a kitchen, the coffee maker and many of the dishes were not clean. There were coffee cups with dried coffee, bowls that had pools of water in them, etc. The smoke alarm in the kitchen had also been removed.
It is a bit of a walk up the stairs to the property, so anyone with mobility restrictions may want to give this a pass.

Spacious rooms, comfortable bed, kitchen, washer-dryer
No elevator going to 3rd floor! They could add a few things like a dish drainer, full-length mirror, and a chair in the bedroom. I wasn't sure how to cool the living/dining room, so it was warm downstairs where the tv is, while it was cool upstairs in the bedroom. The building door key (which is for everyone's use) went missing on our second day, and the host or apartment manager called me twice to check if we had taken it, which we didn't because we were aware it was to be left in the box.

The apartment was well equipped.
The method to enter the building. When we arrived, the code didn’t work, key was the only way to enter the building. But we were informed the key was for emergency use only. The key was took away when we returned late one night. No one answered the phone nor the text message. Fortunately they’re were another couple showed up. The management placed a new keypad, but we couldn’t figure out how to open it. Very stressful for moving luggages to the car as we need re-enter the building.

The place is large. All the rooms are a decent size and the bedroom and one washroom are on the upper level. There is a huge terrace off the bedroom. Kitchen was well stocked. Washer and dryer included which was a huge bonus.
The apartment is 15 minute walk to a metro station. If you have a car this is a perfect spot. There are busses on ontario street which is about 8 minutes away but there was construction on ontario street so I didnt use them.

it’s easy to find parking. the kitchen and everything is convenient.
it’s too noisy during the night. we can always hear someone walking upstairs.
there is no actual window in the room, only one big window door to the back street. for privacy, we had to close the curtains all the time as we are on the first floor.

Nothing, place was perfect.

It was spacious and clean. The location was close nice and quiet.
The shower drain was very clogged and filled up the tub literally 2 minutes into turning on the shower. We used the draino under the sink but it didn't help. I was so grossed out.

We stayed in loft 308 for 3 weeks. As it's a "loft", there are no closed bedrooms, but it's quite spacious and there is a nice mezzanine. It's well decorated, bright, and pretty well equipped. The two main beds are comfortable, and there are plenty of pillows. There is a big screen TV, with access to main streaming services, and internet connection is good. The washer and dryer are very handy and work fine. The place is quiet throughout the day and night, which is much appreciated to rest. The large balcony is very pleasant to enjoy some fresh air/sun, with a nice view, and enough space to have breakfast/lunch/dinner. The owner Arnaud was very helpful when I contacted him form some help with the apartment's mailbox, and to extend our stay for a night. Overall, this place has a good bang for the buck.
Cleanliness looked rather good at first, but when giving a closer look, there is room for improvement: some hairs found in the bed linen and towels, one of the bed under-sheets had disgusting blood stains on it, and you can tell that the washer/dryer area is never cleaned up underneath/behind. Also there's a strong cigarette smell which is odd for a supposedly non smoking apartment. The sofa, which is supposed to sleep two adults, is in really bad shape and uncomfortable, I would NOT recommend it for anyone, even for children, unless it's replaced. Upstairs toilet flush is constantly leaking. Both bathroom doors creaks, which is annoying and could easily be fixed with a spray of WD40. The intercom doesn't work, so if you expect any delivery it can be a problem, especially if you cant' provide any local phone number. The area (Hochelaga) is not the most glamorous in town, and some might be a bit put off by the characters they meet when walking around. It's not unsafe though, and there are many shops/restaurants/parks/cafés within walking distance, but if you expect to stay in a touristy/busy/hip central area, you should avoid it.
