Grateful they accomodated my needs the prior night. But this lady's rude behavior is not acceptable.
I was travelling late due to the extreme hot weather. The gentleman was very accommodating and made me feel welcomed even though I arrived late. I asked for adjacent rooms and they also accommodated.
Check out time was at 11 am and I was very conscious of that fact. At exactly 10:30 am a lady came banging on my door asking if I was staying. I could not open the door fast enough for her since I was on the phone dealing with my next hotel having issues with my reservation. The lady kept on banging on my door very loudly and rude. I was travelling with family and we had already vacated one room.

Close to everything, definitely get what you paid for.
It was very close to everything. It did feel safe aside from some of the sketchy stuff going on.
When I got my room key, the room door was wide open. And a few flys made it in the room. The room definitely did not look like the pictures. The comforter had cigarette holes in it, the room smelled like cigarette smoke and the phone in the room had its cord cut. That was a little sketchy. The blinds in the room were broken, the bathroom door had a patched up hole in it. The person above me was drilling in the room. I don’t know if they were living there but it sounded like a construction crew was working up there.

NIGHTMARE STAY
The guy at the reception seemed nice while I was there, which was just about the only good thing about this hotel. However, when I checked in, he told me that they do cash deposits, which I though was weird because no one has EVER asked me for a cash deposit. So I gave him a $100.00 dollar bill and he gave me a receipt. When I checked out, on January 20th, 2023, I went up to the office and gave the guy the room key and I also gave him some cat food I had bought for the stray cats that hang out in the parking lot of the hotel. He took the key and said nothing about my cash deposit. I even stayed in my car about 20 minutes and he still didn't come out and give me my deposit. Even though I had emailed him through the booking.com app several times during my stay and he responded, TWO DAYS after I checked out, he still hadn't messaged me to tell me that he STILL had my deposit. And of course, I forgot to ask because hotels don't ask for cash deposits. It wasn't until January 22nd that I remembered he hadn't given me the deposit back. When I called about it he admitted he still had it. I had to drive 15 minutes to go get it from him and I confronted him about why he didn't give it back to me and he had a variety of excuses, none of them logical. He could have messaged me at any time through the booking app and told me he had my 100.00 BUT HE DIDN'T. If you decide to stay at this hotel, I can only wish you good luck. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, in my life. The entire stay was a nightmare from start to finish.
Where do I start. First, they put me in a room and the heater didn't work so I had to move next door. That was okay, but then the problems didn't stop. The card they gave me to enter the room didn't work about 90 percent of the time, so each time I left the room, I would have to go back to the office and have them reprogram it. This often happened at night when it was really cold and I'd have to stand out in the cold waiting for them to reprogram the card. This happened at least five to six times and was very upsetting. Additionally, they have these horrid lights in the ceiling that are extremely bright and make you feel like you are under a spotlight. These lights automatically flick off every ten minutes if you aren't moving, so you have to CONSTANTLY get up or move to keep them activated, which is really annoying when you are working. They did help me by fixing one of the lights, but it didn't solve the problem entirely. The pillow cases were clean but the pillows were not, they had a lot of stains and looked old and very gross. I used my own pillow. The worst part was the roaches. I stayed several nights and I only opened one can of chili the entire time, but I still found FOUR roaches in the room, two in the bathroom, one crawling on my lotion, and another actually in my clothes. I had to remove every item from my bags to ensure that there were no roaches. The last two hotels I stayed in had no roaches at all, so these came from this hotel and it was VERY VERY off putting and concerning because you don't know if roaches are going to crawl on you in the middle of the night. I travel all over the world and have stayed at hundreds of hotels and in all of my travels, I have seen roaches in probably only three hotels, and this is one of them. And, four roaches in a hotel that has no kitchen is really concerning.

Cleanliness could have been better but stay was OK.
Location was super convenient and close to The Source + other eateries. Price was good, parking was free, fridge was cold, and bed was comfortable with no bed bugs.
Cleanliness could have been a little better as there were a couple of dead bugs in the room, but no live ones that I could see. Sheets had some stains and a cigarette burn. TV did not work and fridge smelled a little strange. There was no hot water during my whole stay no matter when we showered (only lukewarm water). Also, this isn't a dealbreaker to me as I'm a heavy sleeper, but there was a lot of noise early in the morning (someone was using tools to build a desk right in front of my room)
