It was a nice place to stay at. I could tell the manager had a really good approach and always ensured we never lacked anything.

Excellent communication, very helpful and understanding staff. Location is very central, for me it was just perfect. The kitchen is well equipped and stocked, self service and was open 24/7, so I could have breakfast early in the morning, without any limitation.

Free car parking .
Generous landlord, plenty and variety of continental breakfast ( self help ).
Close to Tesco supermarket.
Has a toilet on the ground floor

Breakfast could have been better. It would be nice if you could keep gas stove so guests would be able to make food for themselves sometimes.
There were no gas stoves in kitchen.

Good facilities for the price - clean and well maintained rooms, bathroom, kitchen/dining. Breakfast foods, microwave and toaster accessible at any time. Tescos extra a couple of minutes walk away. Parking available behind as well as free roadside parking in front of the property.
None - it was great for the price.

The kitchen was good, still more steps, needs small fridge in bedroom.
To many steps to the ground, and to toilet.

Tracey the land lady was on hand to meet us and to show us around . She provided all the need to know information about the house the town and Terminal 2 at Heathrow which is handily really close by and easily accessible.
The communal kitchen and dining room in the B+B is spacious and well stocked with all one needs for a hearty continental breakfast. The rooms were really comfortable and beautifully kept.
There are two communal bathrooms which are well appointed and work as required . Great showers and Tracey thoughtfully provides shower gels. I liked the large victorian wash hand basin and shaving light over the mirror which worked !
Finally a B+B with a good strong wi-fi signal and all the streaming channels on TV are provided free. Nice touch !
I had two rooms and thought both were great value.
We'll be back !

There was nothing I did not like about The Townhouse nor anything whatsoever to complain about.
Tracey has been letting rooms for 20 years. It shows with her super polished service.

Communication great and the room and separate bathrooms were clean and tidy.
Free parking at back of property and location great.
I didn't use the kitchen facilities
●Would have been nice to have a fan in the room as it was very stuffy.
●Perhaps a net curtain or a thin blind would be useful for when the curtains are open.
●There was an Air freshener plug-in in our room. I suffer with reactions to these things, so I turned it off.
●Not sure if perhaps guests before had smoked out the window or something but the room had quite a strong smell of stale smoke (I know as my mum used to smoke in her bedroom!) Not the owners fault at all...but guests really do ruin it, all they have to do is go outside.
●The towels were quite small, a bath towel would be better
● I didn't realise the breakfast was continental, that's my fault as I should have been more careful when reading the room details.

Tracy was a lovely person.
It was quite a climb to our bedroom right at the top of the house, could have done with a larger mirror and extra plugs, the beds were comfortable and clean .and the bathroom was down a flight of stairs so not so good if you need the bathroom in the night.

Location was ideal.
Could not find the B&B initially due to hidden signboard. Had to call and ask for directions.

The beds were very comfortable, and the showers hot and powerful.
Although ham and cheese slices were available in the fridge along with bread, croissants and cereals for a help-yourself breakfast, the advertisement describing a continental or a buffet breakfast left us puzzled as to what this actually meant. We have never ever had a self service breakfast at a B&B before, which left us disappointed.
Coffee was instant, with no cafetière available, and only one type of teabag (no decaf or herbal, etc available).
We noted there were only six chairs around one small table which could have left people having to stand eating their breakfast!
Having looked back at the advertisement, we don't recognise the room we had. There was no private kitchen and we had to share a bathroom on a lower level. Every previous B&B experience has offered an ensuite. The room only had one chair and certainly no lounge was offered, which would have made it more comfortable. The gravelled rear of the house did not match up to what the advert referred to as a 'sun terrace'. It would be more appropriate to call it a parking area.
The advert also referred to a 'seating and dining area in all units'. We were asked not to eat in the room (which is fair), and with only one eating area in the main kitchen, the tiny table in our room with one chair, does not constitute in our minds 'seating and dining area in all units'!

The Cleanliness and the availability of kitchen/dinette at all times for eating own food.

I like that the rooms, bathroom and other environment were always clean. I also loved the variety of breakfast options that were available
There was only one thing I feel that can be improved . I would have preferred if there were options to make very simple meals for breakfast apart from bread and cereals eg boiled egg etc
