Alles ok

Ein sehr schönes Anwesen, gute Lage. Nette Atmosphäre. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis im Restaurant.
Das Frühstück war ausreichend und schön präsentiert. Entspricht der Gesamtbewertung von Booking.com. Insgesamt wäre dabei noch Luft nach oben. ( Rührei, breitere Brotauswahl)

Excellent wines!
Personnel is properly dressed and mostly smiley.
Common areas are very tastefully decorated.
The garden is wonderful.
The river Rhine is very close, so are the vineyards.
The reception closes way too early (6 pm on Friday).
The place is often used for weddings: in my case, there was a big celebration (over 100 guests) so most of the rooms were for the guests. The common areas were basically unavailable / reserved, the celebrations were noisy and food / meat odors were an annoyance (the windows of my room were to be left open since it was not provided with air conditioning as I assumed by reading the booking listing mentioning it among the amenities and the day was still warm - besides it, it was an under the roof room.
The food provided at the restaurant is rather mediocre, the breakfast food selection is of good quality, but not very rich - especially missing of "sweet" opportunities. My room could have been cleaner (I found several bad cobwebs - even reaching the middle of the room). The cleaning service on Saturday happened only on request and in the afternoon. I was handed over a bottle while leaving the place on Sunday to compensate an unpleasant breakfast episode on Saturday but I had to eventually realize - once home - the bottle I was given was not alcoholic - basically I got a sparkling juice.
Wifi in my room wasn't the strongest, nor my Junior Suite implied any good view on the beautiful park surrounding the "Herren Haus" since the windows were all dormer windows.

great breakfast in a great room
There were 5 bigger spiders on the walls when I came in with my daughter. After getting rid of the spiders....the stay there was great:)

Beautiful location, great wines, comfortable family accommodation
Food in the restaurant is completely boring. Their wines deserve better pairing

As the first room given , had a very bad mattress, they changed the room for us .
On the day of departure we couldn’t open the safe , they couldn’t find the proper key , the handy man couldn’t open it and they suggested , leave and we will open it tomorrow and send your staff by post ???? Hello, all our cards , jewellery, passports , money . In the end we said , that we have no option but to stay an extra night . Next day they couldn’t open it , said take it to Frankfurt and have it opened at an specialist ?? Of course the police would have waited there and how is paying for it . In the end the handyman took more effort and managed to open it , as we were leaving the owner had the cheek to charge as the whole night €169. I protested and he said , may be half . At that point I had enough , paid and just wanted to leave . Very cheeky of the owner ! My travel plans were jeopardised , ruined 😡 and his equipment had a fault - mechanical fault- as I had put the right number in the safe ! Very sad story

Although the Vinothek was closed when we arrived, we could have the wine tasting during the dinner in the restaurant.
Wines and local foods were delicious and the breakfast was what we had expected as lecker German Breakfast(Brot, Schinken und Kaese).

Our room was really nice, especially bathrooms.
Breakfast was good, but not excellent.

Beautiful spot, the restaurant has a good veraity of food.
The room is big and decorated nicely but provided no TV! The air conditioner is loud that is not possible to use it during the night!
I would describe the facility is a mixture of the hotel and the restaurant, there the customers can't truly enjoy their time while the the noise from the restaurant coming during the evening in summer time.
Plus, I wish the cleaning servise could consentrate more on the details and clean the room on the daily basis!!!

Nice location 2 min. from the Rhein with the vinyards just on the other side of the road. Great location for sampling the brilliant Rieslings of the Rheingau, but also for trips to the closeby districts of Hessiche Bergstrasse, Nahe, Rheinhessen etc. Nice courtyard restaurant - make sure to try one of their Flamkuchen with a glass of the crisp Riesling produced in the adjacent Schloss Rheinhartshausen Winery.
