Conveniently located apartment next to a gorgeous river with clear communication, well-stocked, secure parking, and close to ski lift and shopping.

Apartment was conveniently located and next to a gorgeous river with a small balcony overlooking it. Loft (with the only double bed) was up a ladder with a sloped roof so could not stand up except in corner. Other beds were fine for kids. We’ll stocked, secure parking, clear communications. Next to ski lift and shopping.

Nette koelkast, inductie kookplaat, magnetron, oven, vaatwasser., etc

A bientôt. Cordialement.

Sehr nette Vermieterin

6 Place but without room for the clothes
The apartment is cozy, littlest than you imagine from the pics however comfortable.
Sadly there is only one furniture for the clothes (in the little room and already fulfilled of other stuff from the owner) the main sleeping room is on the ceiling of the living room and with a very low height and it could be very warm (below the roof) there are a lot of old useless items on the kitchen and the shower is dripping (maybe is time to replace it) there isn't a dryer for the clothes (could be a problem in a cold or raining time) and the apartment should receive sometime an deep and professional general cleaning (also the blankets).
The parking is practical and also the location close to the cableway and not far from the shopping malls.
Eventually a good address that need a little bit more care from the owners

Comfortable apartment, great hiking location
We had a great vacation in Briancon and hope to return to the apartment once more. It was our first visit of Briancon and we found it to be hiking paradise with Queyras National Park and Ecrins National Park around. Arielle helped us with the map and hiking routes, so we managed to see the best places around in 4 days we had. Apartment is clean and comfortable, equipped with everything needed. Parking is free, and you can reach the old town of Briancon in 20 minutes (though you have to climb up the hill on the way there). There is a Carrefour shop nearby and big Carrefour market 5 minutes drive, so we could buy all the supplies and cooked our own meals. Thank you, Arielle, for our great vacation in your apartment.

This cute apartment is an absolute must-rent if you are planning on staying in the Briancon area for hiking, cycling or skiing. We are a Canadian family of 4 (2 parents+2 teenagers) who have rented the apartment during all 4 seasons and we cannot recommend it enough for it's cleanliness, spaciousness and location.
The apartment is fully equipped with every appliance and kitchen ware one could require. There's even a dishwasher and fondue/raclette machine! If you have teenagers the free and high speed wifi is also a bonus. The very efficient use of space makes the apartment feel very open and spacious and we found it to be very cosy, especially in the winter after a cold day on the slopes.
The location is UNBEATABLE. Firstly, you get free parking in an actual gated parking lot. This is an incredible bonus especially during the summer and winter months when there are lots of tourists and definitely not enough parking areas throughout the city. Secondly, you are literally right at the base of the gondola. You go down the elevator, out the door, walk 100m and voila! you are on the gondola and on your way to skiing the entire Serre Chevalier range. If you don't want to ski along the range then you can step onto the shuttle bus that stops right outside the apartment. The shuttle bus is free for pass holders or 3euro and runs throughout the ski season almost hourly. Lastly, you are a 10 minute walk to the very quaint Briancon city centre where you'll find great coffee, baguettes and other little shops and eateries to explore. If you prefer large scale shops the Carrefour and Geant are a 2 minute drive away or a ten minute walk on the flats. The old town is a 20 minute walk uphill or a 5 minute drive.
The best part of this apartment though is the owner - Arielle.
If you are new to the area and want to discover all its incredible hiking potential then we recommend that you hire her as your guide. When we first arrived in Briancon we realized that getting a guide would be the best way to see the mountains safely and easily. We hired Arielle(who is a certified mountain guide) for a three day hike called Le Tour des Cerces. What an incredible adventure we had. Arielle took care of everything in terms of booking refuge accommodations, lunches, even transport. She also gave us a rich introduction to the area with information on the flora and fauna, history, geographical points of interest etc.
Unbeatable location, fully equipped, clean and charming rental!

Good Apartment - recommended
We really enjoyed our time at the apartment. Arielle is helpful and trusting and speaks very good english. As a mountain guide and ski instructor she is very knowledgable about the Alps and gave us good tourist advice.
We were able to take bikes up to the apartment in the lift and store them on the balcony.
We stayed here in the summer and the apartment was pleasantly quiet. It overlooks the river and is quite central to the town. It is very close to the Prorel gondola ski-lift.
Parking was excellent.
Near-by there is a fantastic cafe. Open Mon-Fri (Mosaiques Cafe Gallerie). Super food and lovely people. They really care about what they do.
WiFi was really useful because my son had a very bad accident on his bike and we had to stay in the flat for three days as he couldn't walk. Although the flat is compact, we were thankful it was clean and safe.
The TV is small but that is not a problem for us. We never watched TV we watched DVDs on our laptop. The radio/ CD player very useful.
If you're unsure on your feet or elderly, than you may struggle to get to the double bed which is up a spiral staircase above the main living area. We thought it was a fun little room.
We would definitely return and if you have a serious accident - the nurses at the hospital are very good too. :)
