About this villa rental
Nestled on a charming estate with a hectare of PDO Provence vineyards and an olive grove with 100 trees, this dwelling with its three suites, its children's bedroom, and a stone bathroom can sleep 8 adults or 6 adults and 4 children.
The typical Provençal path is steep at the start, and therefore not conducive to trailers. Its access is impossible for caravans and motorhomes.
The pool is heated from Mid-May to September.
Reversible air-conditioning systems are installed in each room.
A mobile air conditioner in the living room, to cool the house during the day.
The rooms, as much inside with the open plan living room with eat-in kitchen, as outside with the pergola, covered terrace, and grill area with a trampoline, are a peaceful and private haven. There is no way to see into this private property from the street..
For your athletic activities, there is a boules field, a trampoline, badminton rackets, and a basketball net,
You can walk among fig trees, persimmon trees, irises, and rose bushes.
As a welcome gift, we include a taste of our own products: bottles of champagne (we are producers in Damery), PDO Provencal red wine from our cooperative (Cellier des Lorguians), and a bottle of olive oil pressed in the Lorgues mill.
The stone swimming pool is in the style of the Provencal basins, with clear waters with a small basin.
Its name, Bodhi, a word liked with Buddhism, is a good representation of the place and its Zen ambiance that invites you to relax.
Lorgues is a Provencal village with a rich past, framed by two rivers. It is one of the hidden treasures of Provence. Ideally located, half way between the Verdon Gorge and the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, you will have an ample choice of activities.

I can really recommend this house. In beautiful surroundings of vineyards. A very nice Provençal house with many big areas for dining and hang around. Very well equipped kitchen. Pool area with sun protection and comfortable sun chairs. A perfect house for up to 8 persons.

The pool was not heated as it was broken and awaiting a new part apparently. It appears that they knew this prior to the point where we could have cancelled the villa and obtained a full refund, which we would have done. The reason the pool needs to be heated is that one of our daughters has Pulmonary Hypertension and it is essential that she stays warm. She was therefore unable to use the pool as much as she wanted to and could only go in the pool in the late afternoon once the sun had heated it up a bit. There is a permanent campsite around 50m behind the villa. The photos of the pool on the website do not show how dirty the pool is it is around the top, above the level of the water. It is very green/black and doesn't look like it has been cleaned for a very long time. The bottom of the pool was constantly dirty too, so I suspect the pool filter system is not working correctly. In addition to this, the photos do not show the wall around 1m from the end of the pool. This is not safe for children at all, but there is no mention of this, or photos that show this on the website. One of my daughters fell on it and cut her hip. The sun loungers are very tired, dirty and torn in places. The building also looks unsafe in one particular section, where it is heavily cracked in places. This looks like subsidence. The final item to mention is the building was infested with roof rats No action was taken to resolve the issue whilst we were there.

This is a great villa. It’s very well located, whilst still feeling like you are in the middle of nowhere. The pool is excellent - gated, which was really important for us traveling with small children. Thoroughly enjoyable holiday.

We had a wonderful time! The house was amazing-very well stocked, plenty of room for 2 families, very comfortable and plenty to do. The town is only a few minutes drive away. We would definitely come back.
