The location was great, but the whole building is in disrepair. The floors are uneven and water damaged. The space feels dirty; the white shower curtains are stained with yellow scuff and what seems like mold. Getting in and out of the shower/ tubs was dangerous as there was no floor mat and no hand rail. Over all the place was not depicted accurately and is falling apart. Communicating with management was easy enough, and they did allow us to check in early for an extra charge.

Unfortunately I cannot give it a good review at all. This is the first time I have not been happy with the choice made thru Homeaway. Our fault not theirs. I should have realized when their were no reviews it might not be a good choice. We have stayed in London before and had a great experience thru homeway. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with this flat. Advertisement was very deceiving. First walking in the door, the code was very easily recognizable for anyone to come in due to wear on the key pad. When going in the apartment it definitely did not " offer you the full trimmings of a professional and immaculate apartment" as advertised. Mold in both bathrooms were bad. After showering you still felt dirty due to mold. When taking a shower in one bathroom, the water turned off when the other shower started. We were given 5 towels for 5 people for 5 days! No hand towels or towels to step out of the tub and onto the floor. Broken garbage can that was not very cleaning had a hole to smell any garbage thrown in the can. The "immaculate and presentable apartment has beautiful wooden oak floors and designer decors throughout" was definitely not as advertised. The floors had nails to hold some places down that were sticking up. There were holes and homemade patch jobs in the kitchen and bathrooms. Mold running on the floor boards. Bathroom door did not close due to dangling handle. Couches were all scratched up and beds were extremely uncomfortable. Each room had a dresser that would fall on you if a child were to open it. It was not attached and leaned over if opened with things in it. Noise level was horrible at night. There is a pub next door and they receive their deliveries around midnight. Sounds like a moving company has landed. Windows have no sound proof to them so feels like you left the window open. You will hear boxes banging, doors banging, and traffic throughout the night. I hate to put such bad reviews but unfortunately extremely disappointed in the apartments advertisement vice reality. The owner seemed very nice when I called and wanted to help but unfortunately not much was done. They did provide a new garbage can the night before we left. I would not say this is the norm for flats there because we stayed in one very close last time and had no issues what so ever. It was exactly as advertised.
