About this house rental
The gîte "La Promenade des Dames" is an old, entirely renovated farm with a capacity of 14 people, labeled "Clévacances" (4 keys) and classified "Meublés de Tourisme" (4 stars), located on a large plot at the foot of the Hautes Vosges on the heights of St Etienne les Remiremont in the Massif du Fossard.
Close to all amenities (5 min supermarket, bakery, pharmacy ...) this setting is ideal for holidays with family or friends for 1 or more weeks or a weekend (subject to availability and outside school holidays).
The minimum stay is 2 nights (€ 620 to € 720 depending on the season)

Possibility to park your vehicles without any worries. (Note that it is recommended that your vehicles be fitted with snow tires during the winter season.)
The house benefits from a southern exposure (sun from morning to evening) with a superb view of the Remiremont valley, you will reside in the calm of the countryside / mountains. The center of Remiremont is 6 minutes away (TVG station), you are 25 minutes from the Gérardmer ski slopes, 35 minutes from the La Bresse / Hohneck ski slopes, 25 minutes from the city of Epinal and its imagery, 15 minutes from the thermal baths of Plombières les Bains, 1 hour from Nancy and its Place Stanislas, 1 hour from Alsace and its wine route ... You can if you wish to make pretty walks, biking ... forest is located 300 m from the house, you are at the start on foot of many hikes, very pretty places are to be discovered.
The rental includes the supply of linens (bed linen, towels, bath mat, tea towels), provision of an umbrella cot and high chair.

We enjoyed the time so much. It all started with a warm welcome from the owner of the house. We got all the assistance we needed. The house is in a very clean and perfect condition.
The garden and the view is like topping on a cake. We loved it !

We had a great time! The area is beautiful, the house is well stocked and big enough to be able to have some privacy even in a big group. Communication with the host was great - everything was really easy and relaxed. Very much recommended!

Very friendly, helpful and correct host. Spacious and very well-equipped house. The view is spectacular and the garden is absolutely stunning.The house is in a dead-end street, so the neighbourhood is very quiet. Shops (baker's, large supermarket, petrol station) are only a few minutes' drive away. There is fitness equipment, table tennis, pool table, darts ... lots of facilities for an enjoyable stay. The grounds include three terraces with ample garden furniture, a pond, petanque area and a chapel (!). The horses and donkeys are a bonus. Every place was extremely clean. You may think this evaluation is over-positive, but it isn't. It is a pretty exact summary of what the property is like.

The environment , terras and the view is super.
Shopping and restaurants are nearby.

It was wonderful
The house was in a perfect condition, everything was very, very clean.
The house itself is really huge and their are plenty of offers like table tennis, billiard, boules (pétanque) and much more.
We had a wonderful week with plenty of sunshine so we could have our breakfast, lunch and dinner in the outside area.
The view in the valley and special the view in the evening on the water with the frogs was so nice. ,
Sandy was a perfect hostess.

Great week in Saint-Étienne-lès-Remiremont
We - seven men - have chosen this location as a basecamp for our motorbike trips in the Vosges mountains. We rented a lot of objects during the last 10+ years but this one was really perfect. Big space inside, great outside areas and perfectly short distances to various bakeries and a big supermarket. Five star rating is absolutely serious.

Beautiful house with a view
This house is a perfect treat for larger families or a group of friends. We were here early summer and were lucky with the wheather as the sceneray is even more beautiful. The location is within a short distance of all the faous Vosges routes.
The house is complete, large, very clean and suitable for all kinds of staying, no matter good or bad wheather.
Sandy is a perfect host, respects your privay but on top of any request you might have (we didn have many...)

Great cottage in the Vosges
Really great cottage . Beautiful and well equipped . Perfect for family holidays. Located at the hillside (very calm) with a splendid panorama view. A very kind host … absolutely uncomplicated.
We (11 adults and 2 children) enjoyed our stay very much … unfortunately only 4 days. But we hope to manage a "Comeback".

Ein wunderschönes Haus in überragender Lage
Nach einem sehr freundlichen Empfang durch die Vermieterin waren wir von der Größe, der Ausstattung und der Sauberkeit des Hauses überwältigt. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, alle Badezimmer modern, für 13 Sportler gab es immer warmes Wasser und ausreichend Wohnraum zum Ausruhen. Die Lage des Hauses auf einem Hang mit Blick über den Ort und in die Berge war sowohl von innen als auch von außen zu genießen. Das Haus ist absolut empfehlenswert, wir haben uns all sehr wohl gefühlt.

Nous avons passé un excellent Week-end en famille (14 personne). La maison est très belle, bien aménagée, des activités, de l'espace pour tout le monde. Idéale pour se retrouver en famille. Sandy, notre hôte, a été très accueillante, agréable et disponible.
Bref nous avons adoré ce WE, et nous réfléchissons déjà a une nouvelle date pour revenir et profiter d'un temps familial dans cette très belle demeure et très belle région.

Fantastic house in a beautiful location
We were 11 people (7 adults and 4 small kids aged 3 to 8) and the house and garden were just perfect for us. Everything was very clean and Sandy provided fast help whenever we needed. She was a great host. The house also has a playroom with table tennis and a soccer table - plus a billiard table on the ground floor. As the weather was nice we used the outside barbecue place quite a bit. All in all just a very good experience - we would come again :-)

Wirklich wunderschönes Haus
Das Haus hat unsere Erwartungen noch übertroffen. Am liebsten hätten wir den ganzen Tag dort verbracht, da wir uns so wohl gefühlt haben und das umgebaute ehemalige Bauernhaus so viele Möglichkeiten bietet wie Billard, Tischtennis, viel Grünfläche für Spiele, mehrere Terrassen, großzügige Räumlichkeiten. Zudem ist die Gastgeberin sehr sympathisch und auf das Wohl der Gäste bedacht. Auch die Umgebung ist sehr schön und das Haus bietet tolle Ausblicke.

Absolutely lovely!
We had a most wonderful time. The house is very comfortable and provided a lot of space. It is very quiet, so you can relax and enjoy your holidays. We had everything we needed and our host, Sandy, was very friendly and generous. So we felt more than welcome and spent a great week with all comfort. This house is highly recommendable and we are very greatfull,we could spent New year's eve there.
