Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac near the Curdies River on the western end of the Great Ocean Rd, Newfield Holiday House is a wheelchair friendly house that easily accommodates two families. With an enclosed verandah, surrounding garden, toys, games and table-tennis, it is an ideal house for children. The extensive library and record collection provide activities for adults too.
A bread-maker & coffee machine are provided as well as a second fridge in the garage.
Downstairs: Two queen rooms and a single room.
Upstairs: a dormitory with 4 single beds, a cot and a double bed - spare mattresses in the cupboard.
Enjoy swimming, snorkelling, surfing & boarding, river, rock & surf fishing, beach rambles & cliff-top walks, tennis, golf and the extensive bird-life.
Drive short distances to the famous 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge and other sites on the historic shipwreck coastline.
Township: Corner Store/liquor, Post Office with take-aways, Antique & Art Shop, pub.
Nearby: Timboon (supermarket & shops), Port Campbell (picturesque tourist town), Boggy Creek pub.
A little further: Warrnambool & Port Fairy.

Our absolute favorite stay in Victoria. Love this house, position, beaches, food at the local takeaway. Thank you Julie for sharing your wonderful relaxing family home once again. We will definitely be back again. Taking your fur baby is the absolute privelige.

A very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Plenty of great walks around and a great place to base to visit Port Campbell, Timboon and the great food around the area. Could see it would be fantastic for families too.

Had a lovely stay here, had everything we needed, kitchen very well equipped, even enjoyed some ripe tommies from the garden. enjoyed listening to the records, Took our dog, the verandah is enclosed, but not the yard, Thanks Julie for letting us stay.

We loved the house. It seemed to go on forever and had everything we needed. It is well equipped with everything you can think of. We loved the quietness of the area and the friendliness of the locals. It was a great jumping off point for visiting all the wonderful sights. What a beautiful area.

Fabulous house, location, and quiet neighbourhood. Plenty to do and see. The beach and river are fabulous for a days swim for the family. You maybe lucky to see some wildlife at the house aswell as surrounding area. We were visited by a koala on a couple of occasions. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and plan to visit again in the not too distant future. Big thankyou to our host for looking after us during our stay.

A very nice place with heaps of beds, entertainment options and easy drives to the highlights of the Great Ocean Road. Extremely good value for money. As long as you're realistic about expectations of a holiday home, I can't see how you'd be disappointed.

A home away from home. Fabulous location, very quiet, friendly neighbours. Close to the 12 Apostles, Port Campbell and Warrnambool. Fabulous family holiday home offering all the conveniences of home. We thoroughly enjoyed listening to records at the end of the day whilst sitting by the fire. The library (books) kept us entertained to. Thanks for hosting us Julie. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.We plan on visiting again.

Great place to stay plenty of room and well equipped kitchen. Family room library with heaps of dvds and board games. Decking area back and front is a welcome bonus. Exceptionally good for a larger family. Recommend

Big kitchen, plenty of room for family. Great little town. I wouldn’t recommend for very small children as the owners have some items that could be damaged, but for us 5+ Years it was just right.

Located near the Great Ocean Rd this property is within an hrs drive of many beautiful coastal towns. It is neat and tidy with a huge upstairs bedroom. The home has wheelchair access which makes it a rare gem.

Peaceful, spacious and comfortable

Julie's place is very comfortable, with lots of room to spread out and relax. Beds are comfy, kitchen had everything we needed. Great location, just a short walk to some gorgeous walking tracks along the cliff tops. We stayed on a rainy winter weekend but it would be a fabulous summer rental for a larger family group. Loved the album collection and record player too!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Julie's place. The house felt like our second home, is very cozy and has a wonderful fireplace that kept us warm during cooler days. Many great places within short distance to visit, quiet neighborhood and a lot of space. Excellent communication with the host. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay here. Very quite location. Big backyard for the kids. Everything was being provided by the owner. The best part was having our fur friend with us for this stay. Definitely would recommend to large family. Will be back again 😊

We had a wonderful stay for our family summer reunion. The house was a very good fit for our meals, conversation, music and just plain chilling. Julie was very accommodating and pleasant to deal with.

Would go back in a heartbeat

We had two lovely weeks at this property, which is built for relaxing and slowing down. Several different living areas meant our kids had a big space to themselves, and we had plenty of room to chill out as well. The library is fantastic - it's like staying in a second-hand bookstore, which is high praise from me - and the whole house had a great casual, holiday feel. It's not fancy, but that suited us perfectly and we would very happily stay there again. For anyone into birds - we saw over 100 species in our two weeks in the area, it's a great spot.

Eclectic is probably the best way to describe this place. Yes, it needs a bit of work but it is clean and well equipped inside. . Nespresso pod, dishwasher, breadmaker etc. It brought back memories of many years ago but may not suit minimalist or OCD types. Would be a great spot for a couple of families with kids for a weekend gathering. There is an extensive range of books and a vinyl collection with turntable. Short drive to beach and sights. Timboon and Pt Campbell. lose.

A large, comfortable, pet friendly house in a quiet neighborhood and only a short walk to the beach or a short drive to some iconic coastal scenery. We especially liked the outdoor covered patio for alfresco dining and the excellent library of books and records. Although we only had a short stay, the house is large enough for a couple of families. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay. Thank you Julie for allowing us to stay.

Julie was lovely to deal with. We enjoyed our brief stay. Located in a quiet street, only loud neighbour was the rooster. Perfect for large family gatherings when restrictions are lifted. Short drive to Timboon and Port Campbell and you are within an hours drive of Warrnambool or Port Fairy (highly recommend Le crepe man).
