The views were great.
The coffee roasting was good
The food was good.
The staff were pleasant to me.
The stairs to the room were slippy and a little dangerous.

Nice location, cozy atmosphere, delicious food and coffee, fast internet connection.
cold room
excursion for 2 hours was just 1 hours, we saw coffee fields and fish farm, but our guide didn’t speak English, it was nice, but 20$ for this - it’s expensive.
I could fill the bath full of hot water.

Beautiful location with lovely staff who really looked after us and chatted, putting the world to rights for the evening. Great food, both dinner and breakfast.

Beautiful location and beautiful houses. Very nice and friendly staff and good food
The bungalows could be built better because it was quite cold with the wind blowing through the room. Very simple for this price

The bungalows are located in a small village in a
hilly region, in an artisanal coffee plantation. The
staff was very kind and spoke good English. We
did a walk in the coffee fields and had a coffee
tasting. The climate was much cooler than in the
lowlands, which was refreshing, and we could
see the real life of Vietnamese country folk.
This is primarily a coffee growing business and the hospitality
services are rudimentary. The food options are very
limited. The water heater in our bungalow didn’t
work so we couldn’t shower as the water was too cold.

If you ever felt like you need time to just "switch off" from the world - then this is the place to do it. The nature, the people and the incredible coffee and food freshly prepared daily all comes together into one beautiful experience.
I had a fair bit of online work to do and managed to power through 2 weeks of work in just 2 days. No distractions, no bars, no noisy neighbours. Early in the morning, like 5am - stroll down 50m down the hill to witness an incredible sunrise over the lake and the hills, all in a dense mystic fog.
The owners went above and beyond to make your stay super comfy, yet - non-intrusive, so you didn't feel like being pestered. It was just natural, incredible hospitality! Lots of coffees tried (the iced egg coffee was an amazing start upon arrival).
Meals are cooked fresh daily and usually the staff just ask what you would like, and at what time. It's then just to sit down and enjoy it in a super peaceful setting in the restaurant, usually accompanied with chilled piano and spa music.
Don't forget to grab some coffee beans or powder on check-out to bring back home with you (or to send to friends and relatives from nearest post office in Nha Trang like I did).
My Tips:
- Da Lat can be busy and overbooked, get your bus Da Lat > Nha Trang booked couple of days ahead. Then ask the company to stop you at Chappi Mountains which is about 1hr drive from Da Lat (ask your hotel to call the bus company to let them know. Likewise do the same for your onward journey. I had issue that all buses were sold out, all motorbike rentals were sold out - my only way to get there was with a GrabTaxi which was about $25. I went on the Sunday, so you may have better luck on weekdays, but a good point to note.
- If you have a motorbike rented (the property does not provide rentals - you have to get in Da Lat) - go around and explore all the amazing little waterfalls and hills around the area. There is tons to see!
That I had pre-booked trips onwards to Nha Trang, Hoi An and Hue - meaning I couldn't extend my stay at Chappi Mountains at this moment in time. I will surely be back on my next visit to Vietnam, this is an absolute gem!

We loved staying at Chappi Mountain. The setting is idyllic, the bungalow comfortable and clean and the staff were lovely. The food is also great and they were very accommodating of me as a vegetarian. Would recommend.
Kettle in the room needed replacing.
