The cabins are perfect for a gateway with the family and friends
Plenty of space for a big group

This was our second time renting this compound. We were a family group of 12 adults/teenagers and 3 young children. There is plenty of room to spread out and the kitchen is well stocked. We had great weather for our week so we spent all of our non-fishing time on the deck. We definitely plan to come back in a couple of years. Thanks!Don

We had a large group of 15, and this place was perfect. The location is beautiful. Lots of wildlife and kind of tucked away along the river. If you’re looking to fish, it’s possible on the property, but there are much better and easier options a short drive away. A couple things to note: it is about a 40 minute drive from Soldotna, and a good chunk is gravel road, but you’re in Alaska and that is common. Also, this is not a mansion. Some reviews that I read on a lot of these types of places expected high end luxury. You are paying for location and some solitude and this definitely provides that. This is a very nice house(s) that is clean and comfortable and is a great option for people looking to vacation and fish in this area. The house is well equipped and is set up really well for cleaning and processing fish as well as lots of freezer space to get them frozen before your trip home. Yes, the areas that are set up for fish processing smell like it. Again, that should be expected. Keep your fish stuff out of the living areas where they should be and those areas will continue to stay nice and clean smelling. If a clean, well equipped house that is set up to enjoy a beautiful view of the Kenai River while also having a great place to process fish if you want, then this could be a perfect place for you. I highly recommend it, especially with a big group, and we’ll definitely keep it on my short list if I’m able to make another trip back to Alaska.

Positives:1) having space to spread out 2) beautiful river right outside door3) home has many things you might need (shampoo, conditioner, spices, laundry detergent) and many other random things in garage that are useful4) key code on doors was very convenient 5) having two sets of washer/dryers was amazing Negatives:1) very far from town, with roadwork that makes trip even longer - must add an hour to every outing (just to get to Soldotna)2) river was closed for fishing 3) decor/finishes/towels/bedding/ kitchen items should all be much nicer at this price point 4) bathrooms are tiny and not enough of them

Late in the season, but the property was beautiful and comfortable for a large family. The river was particularly nice with the fish, eagles, and even a wayward seal swam by one day!

Great lodging on the Kenai
Main cabin was great for what we needed on this stay. The kitchen was more than equipped for all of our cooking needs. Being able to park the boat at the dock on the river for easy access was key. We did run out of propane just before putting food on the grill one night and were not able to access another tank until the next day. This was disappointing but not the end of the world. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and tidy. If you have a large group this place couldn’t be better for you with access to the river. We would and most likely will stay at this place again. The local manager was accessible when needed and had answers to our questions.

Great location for a large family or group
We recently spent a week at this location and had a great time. Our extended family group of 16 had plenty of space and we enjoyed cooking meals together. We had great weather so we really enjoyed the large deck. The lodge buildings were all in good shape and we had everything we needed. We definitely plan on returning in a couple of years. Thanks for everything!

The property was fantastic !!!
We were a group of 9 guys on our first fishing trip to Alaska to fish , we fished the Kenai River, Russian River, Resurrection Bay and Anchor Point all out of this remarkable property. We were 30 MIN from Soldotna for fuel , food and restaurants what more can you ask for. The property managers were always a phone call away and would help with anything. I would highly recommend this property to friends and family!!! Vac Pac fish and freeze fish on the spot! A true fisherman's dream! The dock for boat was also awesome . Thank You from the Crew from Colorado!!
