About this house rental

Everything that Dewey/Rehoboth Beach has to offer is all within walking distance of this wonderful, large, updated, end-unit town home. The house is just two blocks from the beach (NOT on route 1), one block from the bay and one block from the many bars and restaurants in Dewey Beach. Rehoboth Beach is a 1 mile walk, drive or bike ride. With the home's close proximity to all of the above, you can go back and forth as you please. In addition, since the property is just (and I mean just) over the Dewey Beach line, there's no rental tax!

Kitchen/First Floor
The entire house has been extensively updated in recent years with a first floor and kitchen remodel now complete! The newly remodeled kitchen includes granite countertops, new cabinets and appliances and new flooring (see pictures)! The kitchen also has a fridge/freezer with ice making machine, oven/stove, microwave, dishwasher, crockery & cutlery.

Our oversized living room has a large couch and a pull-out couch (sleeps 2) as well as three cozy chairs. We have a large, flat-screened television on the wall as well as a cozy, wood-burning fireplace for cool evenings. High speed internet is included. The full-size washer and dryer are located in a closet on the main level.

Bedrooms
This home features an oversize master suite with full bath, walk-in closet and flat-screen TV. The master has one king bed and one queen bed (with still plenty of room to get around). The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has a double bed and a twin. (In addition, the walk-in closet in the master bedroom has single bunkbeds and a bedside table with still plenty of closet space for clothing. Please note, however, that this is not considered a bedroom and there is no window in that room.)

Deck/Patio
Finally, the home has a newly redone patio where you can sit and relax in the evening after a long day at the beach or golf course. There is a table with seating for 6 and a comfortable lounge chair. There is a full-sized, stand-up charcoal grill as well. There is also an outdoor shower to wash off the sand and sea.

Activities
In addition to the sun and fun on the beach and the bay, Delaware is famous for its tax-free shopping. This house is just 5-10 minutes from Rehoboth's three outlet malls and many other shops and restaurants. Golf is10 minutes away at one of the many golf courses in the area. Some of the best restaurants in the area are only minutes from our home--please ask us for recommendations!

The house was very clean and the location was great for access to the beach and downtown. It was also set back enough that there was very little noise from cars or Dewey nightlife. The host was very responsive concerning the property and parking.

We enjoyed and had fun during our stay. Thanks to our host who is very nice and friendly. No issues checking in and instructions are straight forward. She helps us find places for activities and recommend restaurants that’s suitable to our liking. Place is very clean with lots of rooms. It’s a nice house and well decorated that makes you feel comfortable and feels like home. The beach, restaurants, and activities are 10-15 minutes walking distance and close to Rehoboth beach as well. The neighborhood is very safe and friendly. Over all, our first experience at Dewey is wonderful with the help of our host. I highly recommend it.

Awesome place. Three bedrooms upstairs with 2 full baths, large living area on first floor with half bath. Beach chairs, umbrella and wagon for guest use in very good condition. Even though we brought our own paper products, this home had extra of everything. Very clean and well kept. Beds were soft and comfortable with extra blankets and pillows. Home must be well insulated, hardly any outside or inside noise. You will need to bring, shampoo, bath towels and bed linens. Two parking spaces. The host tells you all this in her listing. She is easy to reach and offers solutions should you need something. This was a family vacation for us, we brought a 1 and 2 year old with us, a child gate for the steps, and strollers to get them around. With the babies, it’s a little hike to the beach. Even though this unit is in a decent bay side location, I may have to find something on the beach side until the babies aren’t so needy. Other than that, this place is great and I hope to rent it again someday.

Stayed for the weekend with family. Property was very homey, comfortable, and clean. Have to cross the highway to get to the beach, but is otherwise in a good location and easy walk to coffee shops restaurants and bars.

My vacation at Dewey beach was awesome. The property was clean, comfort and suit our family to the tee. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our family meals. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and very friendly. We had plenty of parking with our 2 spaces and additional parking off the street. Allison, the owner was polite, helpful and always available. Everything is walkable from this location! Beach, bars and restaurants just blocks away! Looking forward to returning. Thank you again! We recently had the pleasure of staying at Allison's beach rental, and it was truly an exceptional experience! From the moment we booked, Allison's communication was top-notch, ensuring a seamless and stress-free vacation. The well-stocked kitchen was a delightful surprise. Every utensil and appliance we needed was readily available, making it easy for our large family to prepare meals together. It truly felt like a home away from home. Allison's thoughtfulness extended to providing beach gear, including chairs and umbrellas. It was such a relief not having to bring all these items with us. The rental's location was superb and the convenience of nearby amenities and attractions made our stay even more enjoyable. Accommodating a large group was a breeze, thanks to the spacious bedrooms and multiple bathrooms. The interior decor exuded a cozy beachy vibe, creating a perfect atmosphere for relaxation and quality time together. Lastly, we want to commend Allison for her outstanding hospitality. She was always available to answer our questions and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of remarkable. In conclusion, we highly recommend Allison's beach house! We plan on coming back next year.

We loved many aspects of this property: the back porch felt secluded due to large trees behind the house, the inside was very clean with nice flooring & amenities plus 2 &1/2 baths. Beach chairs & toys were supplied. As an end unit, we also liked the side yard for the dogs. Hope to stay again next year.

This was our second visit to the area, and it was much better this time because we chose this property. One of its best features is the location, an easy walk to the beach and near local restaurants and shops, but in a quiet neighborhood. The property itself is very nice, will all features and amenities just as advertised. We really enjoyed our stay and found it to be a good value.

Allison’s property is one of the nicest place we have stayed during our vacation travels. Beautifully decorated, very spacious, clean and with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing time. Our favorite part of the house was the deck. We enjoyed having breakfast and dinners outdoors, such a lovely time. The house is just a few minutes walk to the beach- no more than 5 minutes. The location is superb, a few minutes drive to Rehoboth with plenty of activities for the whole family (e.g Funland, mini golf, restaurants, supermarket, shopping). Communication with Allison was easy and welcoming. We will definitely be back to Allison’s property in the future. We loved it!

We had a FANTASTIC time at this property. Terrific location, great spot with a first time puppy at the beach. College age kids and their friends as well as my husband and I all had plenty of space. We loved staying here and strongly recommend it to anyone! We’ve vacationed in the Rehoboth area for the past 15 years and this is our top 2 stays so far!

End of group townhome on a quiet street. All the rooms were clean and tidy. The kitchen and common areas were roomy. The rental was larger than what we needed and would be great for 2 or 3 couples along with children. We appreciate that the hosts allowed our dog to stay for a nominal fee. The rental agreement and check in process was hassle free. Our host contacted us promptly with all the information needed for our stay. We would rent this property again without hesitation! We've visited Dewey Beach/Rehoboth Beach many times but this was our first time staying in this development. It was a perfect location -- within walking distance to the main strip, close enough to hear the ocean in the morning, but still in a quiet residential area. The condo was neat, clean, and had several amenities (i.e., outdoor shower, beach chairs/umbrella/grill, washer/dryer, etc.). It even had a small deck in the back which allowed you relax with the Sunday paper or just enjoy the sunshine. I would have no hesitation in renting this condo in future. My guests and dog enjoyed the visit. Having two parking spaces was a luxury. The neighbors were also pleasant. Great job!

We had a wonderful stay in Dewey! The home was perfect for our family vacation. Lots of space, walking distance to everything you would need, and great amenities. The outdoor shower and access to beach supplies in the home were an added bonus. The beach cart was essential when traveling with a 2 year old and all her gear. We were also able to bring our pups who loved that they could enjoy the beach as well. The home owners were very responsive and answered all my questions. My mom wants to make this an annual family trip now that we’re adding another member and we hope that we can reserve this home every year!

My husband and adult daughter decided to celebrate our vaccination status by having a king weekend. The rental was absolutely our best decision. It checked every box for us. The living room was spacious that we could all spread out. The kitchen was top notch appliances and supplies and tons of room for all our snacks and prep area. Everyone had their own bedroom - the master was so large! Vaulted ceilings, remote ceiling fan, lots of sunlight from all the windows. I actually think the back patio may have sold me plenty of room to stretch out and privacy wall to the neighbor next door. There were mature trees out back to give a sense of solitude. We walked so many places. To get bagels. To get ice cream. To get dinner. We did drive over to Rehoboth to walk the boardwalk and shopping area. Wonderful time - very helpful owner - we will be back for sure!

This house was great for a 2 family get away. Nice new kitchen and the house was perfect for cooking and hanging out with our kids. It was the perfect get away.

This was our only beach trip this summer because of Covid and I have to admit that I was nervous. I appreciated how clean the house was and the location was really great. The wifi held up with all three of us on Zoom meetings at the same time. The neighborhood is nice and it's pretty close to the beach. Thanks again.
