This place is awesome to stay if you need it for an internship or something that requires a little longer stay. It’s close to the downtown area and is located in a relatively quiet neighborhood. Steven is great and is more than willing to help with any questions or things you need. Overall, I would recommend and you can’t go wrong here.

Had everything I needed!
I needed a place to stay for my internship in Kansas City, the house was exactly what I needed.

Steven was very accommodating and easy to get in contact with. Plenty of space for my dog and I with a fenced in yard. House is located in what appears to be a busy neighborhood but I found my stay very quiet and peaceful. No troubles at all during my stay. Close and easy commute to downtown KC MO and KC K

House was great comfortable for one or two people to stay.
The landlord was awesome he helped out everyway he could to make the stay comfortable. Everything I needed was there basically had to bring my clothes. A very good stay.

We stayed in this great little house for two and a half months. The neighborhood is older but very friendly and safe. Steve was wonderful to work with and was always available to answer questions. The bed is very comforable as well as the other furnishings. Having Google Fiber available was amazing and spoiled us to other internet and cable service. We enjoyed having a full size washer and dryer. The lower patio and upper deck are both nice areas to spend time outside. We would not hesitate to recommend this house to our friends or family.

My girlfriend and I came from out of town to visit relatives over the Christmas/New Year's season this winter, and initially chose this rental due to its close location to NKC and its very afforable price range. Little did we know that we would be getting the perfect place for our stay in Kansas City.
When we arrived, we were initially struck by the extreme cleanliness of the house. In addition, there were basic food items that proved to be extremely useful for us while we were there, as we did a good deal of cooking while at this house.
The location of the house was also perfect. Due to the quick access to the highway system in main downtown, we could essentially be anywhere in Kansas City within 15 minutes of walking out the front door - something that was a huge relief for us, as we spent a good amount of time during the day traveling around Kansas City and through the Northland.
The neighborhood was also quiet and felt like a regular local neighborhood. No overly showy or expensive cars and houses were to be found here, but we actually preferred it like that. It felt like we were simply the new neighbors in a quiet little neighborhood! At no point were we ever concerned for our safety - the local vibe and the security system installed in the house are more than enough to put even the slightly paranoid at ease here!
We have many plans to return to the Kansas City area this year, and after this trip both my girlfriend and I know one thing for sure - we will be exclusively renting this property if it is available!

A very charming little house. I was on a business venture trip at the National Narrow Gauge Convention, and it was perfect for what I needed. Close to the downtown areas so when I had time at the end of the day I could enjoy the evening there. You need a car, but very short drive. I do really prefer staying in houses when I travel. I can cook my own meals and relax. One thing I thought was very nice very helpful was the kitchen was stocked with all the basics like spices, tinfoil, and many things you use so little of but need. Another very nice feature was the back private deck. Yes there was sun lol. A must see in downtown is the Steamboat Arabia museum. Oh and a must restaraunt is Jack's Stakes out in the Overland Park area (there are three other locations) on Metcalf Ave. BBQ to die for and carrot cake you will not forget.
It was great to meet the owner too. Very helpful. I would strongly recommend this house and would stay there again. All the feature of the house worked perfectly.

I stayed here for a week while visiting with a friend. This was the perfect cottage for 1 or 2 people at the most. It was very well laid out and it had just about everything that I needed to make my stay comfortable.
The owner of the property deserved 5 stars. I was supposed to be at his property a week earlier but because of some unforeseen problems, I couldn't make it. With 1 day notice he allowed me to change my rental week to the following week.
The only 1 negative thing that I could say was when I arrived there was a cleaning problem in the restroom but it was taken care of quickly and the rest of the stay was perfect.
If I ever make it back to Kansas I would use this cottage again. It was simply perfect for what I needed. Very quiet neighborhood and everything was easy to find.
Thank you again for the hospitality.
