Lovely little cottage within 1 miles walking distance of just about everything. On a quiet street so there was NO traffic unless you lived there. Very cozy!

The location was great. Close enough to the historic district but not so close to be in the middle of the chaos. The turn was a little hard to find, but the instructions in the check in email were really helpful.

Lovely little quint to cottage. Just slightly off the beaten path however convenient to everything. Just read the welcome notebook as you start to settle in for your stay. There are things you need to know that help your stay. There are some unique features about the house. I would book again. The price point was right for my family.

I enjoyed staying at this location with my two cousins. Though hot in Savannah we were able to walk to many great sites and restaurants in town within 15-30mins. The house worked well for the three of us. Some quirky things to work through (ex. the toilet had a unique flush handle and the shower had to point to the wall so as to not get water all over the floor in the downstairs bathroom), but not really a problem after figuring this all out. I would recommend this place and I would consider staying here again in the future.

Just as described. Beautiful area. Be sure to walk down Jones St. For beautiful homes.
House was clean and pretty. Nice park just a few steps away.

The whole cottage, it’s charming, cozy, homey,Vintagey, spacious & lovely. We had everything we needed and then some in kitchen, dishes, utensils, pots pans, COFFEE POT , ice, & much more. We almost ran out of toilet paper the last day, had to ration lol. The cottage is located real close to the tourist sections , my grand daughters loved the jetted tub & quaint upstairs room. It was absolutely fabulous..
The kitchen chairs aren’t great but it was ok. Wouuld gladly stay again.

Free parking, close to everything. You can walk to most things in town. The steps weren't steep and we're easy to go up and down. Upstairs was comfortable and bathroom nice and clean.

The house is a nice size for 4 people and 2 dogs, and well located for coffee shops and restaurants (which, to be honest is why we were in Savannah). The house had everything we needed and is in good condition. Several reviewers had said the directions were confusing but we found it easily. More confusing was the door lock but by following the instructions it works out OK. We would definitely stay there again if it were available.

Very pleasant and quiet neighborhood. So easy to walk to everything we needed. Check in process was horrible and stressful.

the stay at the cottage was good overall. It was a nice space with everything that we needed on our trip. It was in a nice central area that made walking downtown easy. The only minor annoyances came from the maintenance men who showed up unannounced. First a man came to power wash the driveway and deck while we there. He was friendly but asked us to move our cars so he could power wash the driveway. This was annoying because 1.it was super loud and distracting and 2. We shouldn’t have to move our cars and inconvenience us when this could be done after we check out. Then on our final day another maintenance man came and said he needed to come inside to paint the upstairs bedroom. We flat out told him no and to come back later. I understand these properties need maintenance but please send them after guests check out. It was a bit annoying dealing with them for 2/3 we were there. I reached out to Vrbo and Vacasa and neither were any help.

The location was great. Property was charming. The cottage was in need of a deep detailed cleaning but over all ok. The property was comfortable and homey but could use more blankets as it was cool while we were there and only one blanket on each bed. There were no pillows or blankets for the pull out that we could find. The kitchen was stocked nicely. We had a great time and would stay again.

Before staying here I read many reviews and they were accurate, both positive and negative. What we liked: it was cleaned well (except the upstairs sheets smelled like cologne upon check-in), the location was fantastic (we walked everywhere and it’s very close to Forsyth Park), the area was safe and it was great to have a parking spot. Challenges: the keypad did not work so we had to carry the heavy key safe cover around with us during our stay. If it’s important to you to talk with an actual person, this is not the place for you. When trying to speak with someone regarding the malfunctioning keypad communication was sporadic, mostly via text, and half the time it was a bot. We never received a code that worked and it was clear that the answers were automated. The upstairs shower didn’t get hot so we both used the one downstairs which was fine, and it was well stocked. Overall we loved our stay, but I agree with people who said the furniture, rugs and mattresses are a little tired. It’s such an ideal location and the place itself is great, it just needs some love. It’s also worth mentioning that we found it and, I thought, booked it using Vrbo but it was transferred (without our knowledge or consent) to Vacasa which is a company I had never heard of and felt very impersonal. A decent price for a stand-alone house in the heart of historic Savannah.

We really like the house and the location was very good. It fit our needs almost perfectly, but the local management was horrific! I would stay away from any property managed by Vacasa. Their local office absolutely does NOT care at all if you have any problems. They refuse to service the property and will not call you to assist. We arrived to a broken toilet that had no handle. How do you lose the toilet handle? And how does the cleaning team not report it. And how do you ignore your customer for 4 days while you remove one of the most important utilities in the house. Vacasa did everything they could to try to ruin my wife's 40th birthday weekend. It failed, but so did my faith in their service. Also, the address that was provided was not the actual address of the property, so we had a lost overnight package! Do you think Vacasa cared to assist? Nope, not a chance. They actually blamed me because I didn't ask if it was OK for me to ship something to myself. It was a terrible experience. Stay away from Vacasa and look to another option for someone that actually cares.

This is a wonderful house, especially for the price. It's in a good neighborhood and only a mile from River Street. Highly recommend.

This was perfect for our SCAD move-in - pet friendly, comfortable and enough parking for our F150 Ford pickup. We’ll stay again!

The house itself is very cozy and perfect for just a few people. The alley that you have to drive down to get to the property really needs to be cleaned up. It really made us feel like we were in a bad area. We never had any problems and it was very quiet but we were nervous at first because of how the alley looked.

We brought our dog on his first vacation. This location is great for the dog friendly city of Savannah. It is walkable and a block over from a park that has a dog park. There are a few touristy things within a few blocks, but most things are within half a mile walk. For us, this was walkable with our dog and child. There are several restaurants with outdoor seating that allow pets within the area. The house was clean and organized. However, there could have been more information on basics. I couldn't figure out the television, how to lock up when I left, how to direct services to find the address, and where to park without thinking about it. This should be easy, no brainer information, but when you are tired from traveling, it is frustrating. I had grocery delivery and explained my location well enough to receive my order. I was surprised at the number of dishes and towels-there was plenty. I was disappointed in the lack of salt, seasonings, coffee, and small, dry breakfast items. The listing did not indicate these were available, but as much as I have rented for stays away from home, I have become accustomed to this. The AC was great. My daughter loved having the upstairs area to herself. The street lighting is awesome when you are outside, but it was bright at night even with the blinds closed. Because it is an old house, you will hear if someone is moving around during the night. It was plenty of space and the right choice for us. This could be improved with a few more amenities and updating the guide book for the house to include the practical information. I reported two light bulbs out over the bathroom sink and was told to change them. There were no extra light bulbs that I could find. Perhaps someone should do a walk through for the supplies. Overall, I would stay here again.

From the time we arrived, actually prior to our arrive, we were contacted and made to feel like we were in good hands. Early Checkin was a pleasant surprise and the house was clean and supplied with starters that made us very happy.
Location was close to down town Savanna, 5-10 min drive. Great stay great fun!! Thank you

Yes, it's in the historic district, but on the edge, so we didn't usually walk from the house. The neighborhood was quiet, and it was lovely to hear the birds. The house was very clean and had plenty of towels. I loved the bedding. But it's for 2 single adults or 4 if sharing the beds; the pullout sofa (the person I spoke to after making the reservation didn't know it was a pullout) and the pullout in the upstairs bedroom are not for adult backs.

Well separated Two bedrooms worked out great - no sleeping interference (snoring) and separate relaxing and bathing convenience. OFF street Parking is a great benefit.

The only problem I had with the house was no TV. The only way you could watch TV was if you had a streaming account. Well my husband and I are career people and we do not care about anything but the news. So we had to watch the news on our phones. This is the first place after staying at many homes that was set up that way but it had a dog park across the street for our dogs so it worked out.

The cottage was cute, in a great location and free parking which was awesome. We just parked and walked everywhere. The owner had a book with terrific suggestions on what to see and where to eat. The recommendations were spot on! Fun to be there for the St. Patrick’s day celebrations .

Location was good and area was quiet. Nice to have two bedrooms and bathrooms in separate areas. Living room furniture was old compared to pictures and was very sunken inn worn/stained. Listed as having coffee pot but there wasn’t one in the kitchen. Overall nice place that would use a little updating.

All that we expected. Everything was clean and neat. Well placed notes on operating the showers and other items in the cottage.
Kitchen is tight but well equipped. A medium-to-large frying pan was the only thing we wished for.
Upstairs bedroom was very nice.

The Taylor Cottage was very welcoming upon arriving. It is a lovely place to stay that is conveniently located to the many things to do in Savannah. I will definitely be staying there again.

The facilities were very adequate. Adequate towels and washcloths. Adequate dinnerware and pots and pans. Two exceptions: comforter for pull-out and not being able to understand the upstairs television. The on-site manager was very prompt with helping us. I did get an extra hour to check out as a courtesy. Overall I enjoyed the property and enjoyed our stay.
