The property is in an ideal location-walking distance to shops and restaurants. It is behind a private fenced area off the street. The space is well laid out and comfortable for two people. The lanai area with some greenery was especially nice.

Everything you’d need with no frills. I loved how the property was set back a bit, behind a sliding gate. It felt safe and secure. I enjoyed the proximity of the cottage to the main strip, it was close enough to be walkable, but far enough from the hustle and bustle. The place was perfect for what we needed. We loved drinking coffee on the little patio in the mornings, and the bed was the comfiest bed for a good nights sleep. Nothing negative to say about it!

Yes, the location is perfect--just minutes to walk into the lovely Pa'ia Town, and I did get to do quite a bit of walking (my #1 goal) while staying at Pa'ia Hale.
Everything I wanted to see and do was just 5 to 15 to 30 minutes (walking and driving) from my base camp!
A Catholic church is just up the street and their masses are at 7 am daily, except for one day a week and their Saturday mass was at 5 or 5:30 PM, just check their website, Holy Rosary.
The Baby Beach is ideal, and I walked there as well I walked really far one day, over 26,000 steps and felt safe the entire time; I slept well that night!
The cottage itself was clean, nicely decorated, well-stocked, and the layout was nice and comfortable.
Jacque is a fantastic communicator and made me feel so welcome; the Aloha spirit is in her messages, as well as in her property.
Next time, my family and I are in Maui, we will stay at Pa'ia Hale for sure.
Mahalo,
Valerie

Could not think of a better place as a base of operations to explore the island (Road to Hana, Haleakalā Volcano, Maui Wine, Vana Resturant) or just relax and enjoy the quiet, beautifully kept property. Thank you for sharing it with us!

We stayed 6 nights in Jacque’s one bedroom. It’s in Paia walking distance to everything in town. The private cottage has literally everything you need and is very well maintained and clean.
You will not be disappointed. Communication is great, it’s all good.

We stayed here for 5 days and loved it. We could walk to town and the beach. It was also the perfect place to use as a jumping off point for exploring the north side of Maui. The cottage was super comfortable! Loved our stay!!

We had a fantastic stay at the cottage. It was a great location, easy short walk to the beaches, restaurants, and shops. The cottage was spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed for our weeks stay. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. There was AC available but we didn’t need to use it, there is always a lovely breeze which made sleeping easy.
We had a great time and would stay again.

The place was great and in a really good location, just up the road from downtown Paia. Spent a lot of time walking around the different shops, trying nearby restaurants and going to the local beach.
The cottage itself was clean, plenty big for two, had all the cooking utensils we needed, and provided beach towels and chairs which was nice.

My wife and I were celebrating our 21st anniversary by taking a trip to Maui. We stayed for a week and this place was exactly what we were looking for. It's a little ways out of Kahului, but still close enough to most of the major areas of the island that it was convenient. The location was quiet, well kept, and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a place to stay that is private, yet still well apportioned, then this is the place to go.

This quaint and quiet little cottage set in the old plantation town of Paia did not disappoint. The check-in process was smooth and simple, which was very welcome after a long day of travel. Jacque and Danny were both a pleasure to speak and deal with - helpful, courteous, and prompt to reply. A great location, just up the road from Mana Foods (one of the best markets on the island), and a short walk to a few cafes, restaurants, a little shopping, and/or some delicious, shaved ice. While we spent most of our days out and about via rental car, the evenings back at the cottage were just the right touch of convenience, relaxation, and privacy. The space was perfect for the two of us, and a newly installed air conditioner in the bedroom kept us very comfortable at night (we slept extremely well!). If you’re looking for a nice place to stay in Paia, we highly recommend this little cottage.

This place was just perfect for my husband and I on our honeymoon. Loved how quiet it was, and really liked how close it was to town.
They provide a lot of things you don’t think you’ll need, which came in handy for us.
We would definitely recommend this place.

We stayed for 3 weeks and loved this place. It's close to Paia town - a short walk. Paia is also centrally located on the island so it was convenient to drive from there to anywhere. It's off the road in a really nice fenced in yard - it feels very private.
Jacque was very helpful - gave us many tips on where to go and what to see. We also took surfing lessons from here grandson Kody who lives next door - a great lesson.

We received excellent instructions to check in and it was seamless. On arrival we were surprised how large it was. The pictures don’t do it justice. There is an easy to open gate to get into the property which gives a great sense of security. We had a lot of sports equipment that needed to dry and the covered porch was perfect. I also appreciate that it has solar power on the roof! Shower had great pressure and the house was very clean on arrival.

We had the most wonderful time staying in this beautifully equipped home. Location was perfect for a walk right into town or to the beach but the gated property made it feel like you were in a private setting with a lovely Lani to sit and enjoy all the birds and flowers. Excellent home for a weekend or longer stay with a local grocery or farmers market right down the road or if you ventured out Costco and Walmart were within 5 miles away as well as the airport. Excellent location to get anywhere on the island. We were excited about how clean and handy this home was with all the amenities but if you had any questions Jackie and Danny were very responsive to all our texts. We highly recommend this property it is quiet, clean and close to everything! We will be back!

Great location just outside of the busy part of Paia but a very short walk. The cottage was clean with plenty of room and amenities for 2 people and the area was quiet. We appreciated the information about what to do in town and around the island. There are a couple minor maintenance issues (squeaky ceiling fan in the bedroom, clogged shampoo dispenser, a/c that struggled to keep up with the heat) but nothing that would keep us from staying here again if we ever make it back to Maui. Definitely recommend.

This cottage was perfect for a quiet getaway! It was so nice having a kitchen for when we didn't feel like eating out. And for groceries, Mana Foods is just down the road. We used the patio almost every day for breakfast and coffee, watching the birds and geckos. Downtown Paia is only a short walk away, which is nice because of the limited parking in town. Jacque was very quick to answer any questions and easy to contact using the app. One thing to note: The main air conditioner is in the living room, but bedroom air conditioning costs a little extra. It's definitely worth it if you're used to cooler evening temperatures.

Perfect Location for Local Vibe
This property was perfect for my husband and I to explore the west side of Maui. We would explore in the AM, then come back to explore Paia beaches and walk into town (SO AMAZING not having to worry about parking). Felt safe, cozy and comfortable with everything we needed our entire stay. We absolutely stay here again!

SERIOUSLY DARLING
This listing is understated, it was so much more than I expected. SO CUTE!! The owners have gone above and beyond to make the landscape a Hawaiian Oasis. Quiet. Private. New. Spotless. Enjoyable all the way around. I now know I was lucky to get this place so if you find it, book it. I doubt it's available often. I don't want to leave, I plan to come back, soon! Thank you Jacque & Danny!

Clean Space & Great Location
The small house was very clean and close to a great grocery store and restaurants. The shower and bed are excellent, yet the fold-out couch and bar stools make relaxing or dining slightly difficult. The host communicated promptly and was hospitable overall and kind. Be aware that this small house is sandwiched between two larger rentals, so you'll have close neighbors.
