Host was easy to communicate with before and during our visit. Very private location in comparison to other cabins in the resort.

I was not entirely happy with the cleanliness of this cabin. For the amount of money one pays each night to stay, for starters AC should be a given. You can't even count the upstairs as a reasonable room to sleep bc you won't get even 15 mins of shut eye with how incredibly hot it is. The fan did nothing to help, so unfortunately we had to use the torn up couch to sleep on bc of this. The basement room is damp and muggy, so that leaves you with really just the floor you walk into as functioning rooms. If you're thinking of paying extra bc it has a jacuzzi tub, DON'T! It does absolutely nothing, no power whatsoever and you honestly might injure yourself using the shower in general bc you have to lean so far back to reach the shower head. When the listing says "starter supplies", I expect there to be laundry detergent to wash at least ONE load of towels, but there wasn't. While on the topic of cleaning, I might have kept my mouth shut about having to wash our towels (given theres a cleaning crew), had my experience been even somewhat nice, but again I go back to, when you look at how much it cost per night and you have the audacity to ask someone to supply their own cleaning supplies and wash the towels, thats outrageous. Btw, dont trust any of the supplies. The entire cabinet of starter ingredients are expired. I found some dated 2019. Some cleaning crew this place has. I wouldn't recommend and I wouldn't return.

Cabin was very cozy and quiet. Could use some lighting at the spiral staircases. Overall we had a really nice time there.

Beautiful location with all the woods and very very clean. My only downside for this place was it wasn’t a true 3 bedroom as 2 of the rooms did not have a 4th wall. Made navigating the space with children very difficult for naps and bedtime. Being multiple sound machines and it can work.

It was nice getaway.

Everything was great. Just missed the snow, but had a good time anyway.

We enjoyed a nice stay in the West Virginia mountains, with a comfortable fire in the fireplace and two feet of snow around us. The cabin is comfortable and well equipped, and the host was outstanding.

We had a great time here. If you need to get away from the stresses and problems of your daily life, this cabin offers a quaint and quiet spot for tranquility.

The property and cabins are beautiful. Nice views, quiet, friendly and felt very safe. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We watched deer in the woods right behind our cabin from our porch. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the fireplace every night of our week-long stay. We hated to leave.

Not too bad. Going through some changes at the time. Nice and quiet.

The Cabin was peaceful and warm, unfortunately our stay was cut short for personal reasons. Made you feel away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life!

We had a great time at the Rest Assured cabin! We planned our trip to see the Perseids meteor shower and couldn’t have asked for a better spot - we saw tons of shooting stars. We also enjoyed hiking in Dolly Sods and exploring Davis. With 2 humans and a dog, we had more than enough room. We enjoyed the patio and grill, and walking around the Black Bear Resort.

Renting through vrbo was easy and we have never had problem before when renting with your service but this property was totally misrepresented.

We were in town for the Highlands Sky 40 mile race. The cabin was perfect for our needs. The resort was quiet and centrally located to Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley. There are tons of trails and wilderness in the area to explore. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, and deceivingly roomy. Laura and Jeff were great to work with, and very responsive. We'd love to stay here again!

The cabin was very nice. It did not have air conditioning, but to be fair, it did not list that in the amenities. So I should have read closer. My sons would have certainly swam in the pool, and I thought a resort should have had the pool ready at the beginning of June. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Short ski weekend
We had an amazing time skiing at timberline. We booked this in advance and were close to canceling due to weather, however, it became colder and snowed before our arrival, and we were able to enjoy the last bit of skiing for the season! Everything was better than expected during our stay and things were so easy. Laura was always available for questions. We would love to stay again, and will recommend this little community to others wanting to enjoy skiing or a cute place in the summer.

Great Stay!
Short drive to Timberline ski resort which was the purpose of our trip. Good to also have Mamma Mia's Pie & Pasta just a short drive away. We enjoyed our stay and will be back next year.

Rest Assured
Overall it was a nice little place to stay. It was close to the ski lodge and a grocery store. The beds were real nice and soft. The rooms were a little smaller than expected but cozy. Definitely would stay again.

Excellent experience
Communication with owner was terrific and the cabin was as described. The kitchen was well-stocked and fireplace was a perfect complement after a day of being on the slopes. Beds were very comfy and we loved the layout for our family of four. If you are looking for a casual place to stay, this is it. The cabin is in need of a little updating and repair -- hence the four stars. But if you can overlook that, it's a five-star stay.

The property was in great shape and served as “base camp” for us. We did Dolly Sods, Seneca Rocks and Spruce Knob on a very long day 1. Day 2 was spent fishing the North Fork South Branch of the Potomac River. The morning we left we stopped by Blackwater Falls on the way home. Every one of these sites is a short drive from the cabin. It was perfect for us!
