Beautiful views from a three bedroom family home, with full kitchen, living room, and laundry facilities. The close-to-town, convenient location adds to the benefit of this accommodation.
We renovated this older home to retain its original charms, but also to satisfy our modern tastes and expectations. The result is quaint, bright, and utterly charming with enchanting views of Kachemak Bay, the Kenai Mountains and the Homer Spit. Every window at the front of the house - living room, kitchen, and laundry (!) offer the remarkable views we love so much in Homer.
This is one of three rentals from Alaska Holiday Homes and available on this property. This house is a duplex. Rent all or a combination of the units to bring a large group of family / friends together in one location (in all, beds for 12 - 14 people).

Very clean, quiet, easy to get to, adorable place. Loved it! The view from the house is incredible!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was the perfect size for our four person family, and we found it very relaxing. The living and kitchen areas benefit from really nice natural light and there is a great view of the mountains out the front window. The owners were very friendly and helpful in answering our questions. We would definitely return again.

We had a delightful stay in Homer. Exceeded our expectations. The house was quaint and cozy and had everything we needed. View was spectacular. The hosts were amazing always available but never imposing. Thank you so much!!!

If you visit Homer, you better try to stay here. Absolutely perfect home with totally comfortable beds and unbelievably view of the mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. Phyllis stopped by and was a perfect host.

My husband, my 80 y/o dad and myself enjoyed this historic home for two nights. The home was exactly as described if not better. Peaceful, million dollar views and close to everything.
Enjoyed the local cranes, momma and baby moose and snowshoe hares.
Hope to be back! Loved the town of Homer!

This was our 3rd stay at this beautiful home. It is well kept and always clean and quiet. The view is incredible. It's close to both the Spit and midtown Homer as well as a scenic drive up East End Road. The owners, Kit and Phyllis, are wonderful managers and very responsive to any issues that arise. I highly recommend this property!

Our stay was amazing. We were there for my boyfriend’s father 81st birthday. We had an amazing time. I love and enjoy the place very much.
The place is very clean, welcoming, and very beautiful. The beds are very comfortable. The views are spectacular especially a mother Moose and her two babies came out to the front yard with canvas mountains and bay views. I’m so happy and appreciated for sharing your beautiful home with us. I would love to come back again on the near future.

We are three couples traveling around Alaska. Kit and Phyllis’ house was one of the nicest we have stayed in.
Everything was as described and the big living room was nice for the six of us to be able to hang out as the weather wasn’t so nice.
Thank you for providing a great space with everything we needed.

Very comfortable. Wonderful property. Close to hikes, birding and activities. Had everything that we needed. Host was great with communication and made us feel welcome. One of the best vrbo we have been in!!! Highly recommended and we would stay there again. Thank you, it made our days on Homer even better!!

Spectacular mountain view, well equipped, comfortable, great hosts! Appreciated having laundry available. Main floor up a few exterior steps, then all one level was enjoyable for my handicapped friend. WiFi and Netflix worked without any issues. We would definitely return and recommend it to family and friends!

We spent a weekend in Homer. The property is in a beautiful spot overlooking a beautiful mountain range. We saw lots of wildlife right here on the property . It was clean and quiet and idyllic! A definite must if you come to Homer!

This is our second time staying at a property owned by Phyllis and Kit. They are excellent hosts: helpful and communicative. The homes are always spotless, well appointed and include everything you need for a comfortable stay (kitchen items, laundry, even board games). We did find that the mattress in the larger bedroom was too soft for us but this might be a personal preference.

Perfectly Charming!
From the moment we stepped inside this lovely historical home, we were utterly charmed. Immaculately clean, beautiful view and great location. Close to town and just a five minute drive to the Homer Spit where my husband was camped with our grandkids. Super comfortable beds, lots of fluffy towels and an inviting living area. Kit and Phyllis have provided everything you could possibly need. Highly recommend and we will be back for our next trip to Homer.

A beautiful, well equipped home that met our every need. When they set up this home they thought of it all. Super clean and comfortable. Bull Winkle’s Garden
The place is as quaint as described. We were greeted by a young moose in the yard the first morning we were there. A Perfect location for day hikes and easy access to the Homer Spit. We loved the place. It was big enough to accommodate five adults, and it is very clean. Would book again highly recommend.
