We were very pleased with our stay in the Halibut room. So much so that my husband says he wants to return next year when the weather is nicer and stay in the same room. That's saying a lot coming from him! I will recommend this place to all my friends who want to visit Homer.

We visited Anchorage, Denali, Fairbanks, Valdese, Seward, and homer while in Alaska. The White House in was clearly the best hotel we have stayed in. It had a big bed, a large TV, an upgraded bathroom, a large refrigerator and freezer, a great coffee machine, and microwave oven. It also had a hot tub that you could sit in and overlook The sound. We didn’t use it, but it would’ve been lovely! There are some great local restaurants that we ate at. AJ’s and the fresh cat Café were probably the best. It was nice waking up every morning to the sound of sandhill cranes, and seeing some local moose as we drove around. The manager jackie was outstanding. If I come back to Alaska again, I will come straight to Homer and stay in the White House in.

Wonderful view of bay and comfortable chairs to sit and have a morning coffee. Beds were so comfy we had a hard time getting up in the morning! Had cow moose with two calves walking outside our room! We spent 4 comfortable nights with them and would do it again!

Nice, we’ll appointed room although it was small. The property has a nice view across the bay although we did not have a view from our room. There is no management on site and no maid service. The price is high for what you get but that seems to be the norm in Alaska.

The location was outstanding with gorgeous views and easy access to the beach. When the hot water system went out, Jackie (property manager) was on it immediately and got it reset for us. She saved the day!!!

We appreciate the cleanliness of the room and property- the room has a great view and it is situated in a quiet area with easy access to the town, beach, and spit.The beds were very comfortable. However, the two beds/frames in this room were very creaky- any time you moved, it was pretty loud.

It was a cozy, homey suite. They provided extra little touches, like the beverage amenities, and comfy chairs. The beautiful setting, overlooking the bay, with lawn chairs to sit in and soak in the quietness and beauty made it a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

This is a very comfortable upstairs room. Décor was nicely done, and locations was fine. Very nice view of the bay and surrounding mountains. Close to the Homer Spit, a few minutes drive to the main part of town.

Our family of 4 stayed two nights in the Silver Salmon room. It was so welcoming. The room had everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable. The property itself is gorgeous! It's quiet, relaxing and family friendly. The view is unbelievable! Amazing!! We enjoyed sitting out on the chairs watching the bald eagles fly by over the water. This was our favorite spot on our trip.

The location of the White House Inn couldnt be better. The owner was very responsive and helpful before we arrived. The room was great and very comfortable. The only problem was that the hot tub was not heating and when we brought it up a couple of time to the person on site, they did not address it. Otherwise a great stay in a great place.

There is no location in Homer that isnt convenient!! Nice clean room with good amenities!!! Beautiful views from the yard! The room was small so you had to watch the news sitting in bed! It was convenient to have the room security our cell number!

I loved the White House Inn. Easy check in, pro-active staff contacted us with details and to confirm everything. Super soft and comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. Clean, quiet comfortable room with amazing views close to everything - super short walking distance to the water. Bald eagles flying by and perched out front, 20+ tides filling and draining, green grass and red chairs, a play set and plenty of parking. Exceeded all expectations.
