About this house rental

After renting my parents house that was so close to Lambeau for years, my mom sold out to the Packers and totally remodeled and expanded this house just two hundred yards away. The amazing view of Lambeau is one of the best reasons to stay at this home, but certainly not the only reason. The house has over 4,000 sq.ft. of space on three floors with a total of five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and entertainment space on all three levels. The main level includes a great room with a large kitchen with beautiful hickory cabinets, a marble backsplash, a fridge with two ice makers, and a dining room that leads to a large deck overlooking Lambeau Field. Plus it has a master bedroom with a large bathroom and walk in shower, and another 1/2 bath for all the guests. The top floor has two bedrooms, each with a sleep number king size bed and an on suite bathroom. It also has a large common space with a leather sectional, a large tv, a twin bed, and another full bath for guests along with great view of Lambeau from the large window. Finally the house has a lower level that has two more bedrooms that share a full bath between the two bedrooms and it has another entertainment space with a pool table, air hockey, a small bar and a nice brick patio with a gas grill all just yards from Lambeau. This house can be nice and comfortable for a small group or host a large family gathering and still have space to yourself and enough bathrooms for everyone. We are not taking bookings for the fall till the Packerschedule comes out at the end of April or beginning of May. Pricing for homePacker games is usually around 6,00000 for a theee day weekend.

Con: We booked this unit because of the location and proximity to Lambeau field for Family Night. After 24 hours in the unit a gentlemen showed up to inform us that they would be parking cars in our yard for family night. This was never mentioned in the listing or communicated to us in the month+ that the family night date had been announced. We had a group 16 people and 6 young children that were planning to use the yard. We paid a premium for this location to do so. To be in the unit and then find out about this was ridiculous at best. We went back and forth with the owner and he refused to budge even after we voiced our concerns. When family night was over we had people that returned to their vehicles and stayed in the yard until after midnight while we had children trying to sleep inside. If you are booking this house for a Packers game be aware. I have no idea how you can charge a premium for the house due to the location and then also expect to rent out the yard for parking. When I messaged the host the told us that was a part of the Lambeau experience. If I wanted to be surrounded by strangers I would have paid for a cheaper hotel and then parked in the general parking lot. In our view the host is trying to have their cake and eat it too which should not be allowed. Con: Every bed in the unit needs to be replaced. If you even roll over in the beds it made a terrible squeaking noise everyone in the unit can hear. Pro: Location is awesome. 6 bathrooms are amazing.

This was an amazing property that was fabulous for our entire family. Our three boys, daughter in laws and grandkids back in Green Bay to see other family. We come back for all the Packer games but they don’t get to experience GB in the summer. This property was amazing to make that happen!

House was perfect for our family of 10, six adults and 4 teens. Large open kitchen and living room area with a large table for all to sit at for eating and playing board games. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Only a couple of concerns, window coverings for the upstairs bathrooms and open area, and all the bathroom floors could have been cleaner. Over all, very comfortable and nicely decorated! Thank you for letting us use your house and we would again!

This was a great place to stay. There was plenty of space, bedrooms and bathrooms for our family. We especially enjoyed sitting on the covered deck facing the stadium for breakfast and in the evenings with the family. The only things we would suggest for the home owner to do would be places to hang clothes in the bedrooms and to hang towels in the bathrooms.

Had a great time staying in this house in Green Bay. We picked this house not only because of the location, but because it had plenty of bathrooms with showers so there was no waiting to get ready for the family wedding we came to town for. Also we’ll stocked kitchen and plenty of room for all of us.

This was beautiful home, and a great location if you are going to Lambeau Field. The view of the stadium is perfect and we were able to walk there. But the house was not what we expected. We were given the wrong address at first, and didn’t get the correct one until one hour before checkin. We could tell it is a diy flip project. The listing stated there were 4 queen beds and there were only 3. One of our couples had to sleep on an air mattress. Also, the floors and bathrooms weren’t fully cleaned. The kitchen faucet stopped working for awhile. And the dumpsters were full when we arrived so we had little room for our own garbage. We were not informed someone would come and water the grass three times in one day so there was mud around the yard. Great location, but the issues with the listing and cleaning need to be fixed.

We had a great time in Green Bay; the house is conveniently located within walking distance to Lambeau and Titletown. The online pictures don’t do this place justice. It was much nicer than we expected. There was plenty of room to spread out over the three floors with community spaces on each floor and a nice outside area looking out at the stadium. The property manager was responsive and helpful Would definitely recommend.

Giant house with enough room for 5 couples plus a few. Nice kitchen/living area and great outdoor deck space. No closets in some of the bedrooms so nowhere to hang anything, but bed were comfortable, plenty of towels and linens. Would definitely rent again.

I cannot begin to tell you how amazing this house is! Right across from Lambeau, spacious and beautiful! We rented it for our family to attend our daughter's college graduation! Everything was perfect, and Jonathan and the others we met were fantastic! We cannot say enough about this property! Thank you for making our family weekend so special! We will be back!! The house is beautiful. But, a few minor issues. Communication with owner was slow. Lower level bathroom had toilet with seat broken off and just set back in place. First person who used it went right to the floor. Good thing it was my 63 year old sister and not my 90 year old mother. A number of bulbs were burnt out in lower level. Had to rob bulbs from rest of the house to get enough light down there. It's a beautiful property in a great location, but could use a little more attention to detail.

I booked this home in mid-August for a corporate client event, which included the Monday night game at Lambeau. One day prior, the owner contacted me to tell me the home did not pass inspection and The Village would not allow guests. I was grateful he found another property near by to rent and was able to cancel our booking with VRBO. The new property was not associated with VRBO and not similar to this property we originally booked. We were not told about the yard being rented for another corporate event, which included a tent and many people on the property, and that it smelled of smoke. The stay for our clients was unpleasant. Before booking this property, I had read similar feedback from previous renters, whereas they were directed to a different home. I booked it regardless because of the events in the area (Packers game and Ryder Cup), and wish now I would have not booked it. It perplexes me why they would list it on VRBO, if it had not been inspected or had not met previous inspections? $$, I guess.

Jonathan’s property had a great location, is new and updated, and overall we enjoyed our stay. The biggest problem we had involved some errors in the listing. The property was not at the address we were initially told it was once our booking was confirmed. We weren’t told that the address was for a previous listing until we had already arrived at the incorrect address. Most importantly, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms was not accurate. This meant two people in our party had to sleep on couches because we had fewer beds than we were told we were. The cleanliness of the home was also an issue. The toilets had clearly not been cleaned prior to our stay and a member of our party was gracious enough to clean them before most people had arrived. Overall our stay was satisfactory but I wish we had been fully informed of the things listed above.
