About this cabin rental
This cozy, centrally located cabin is nestled in the pine trees, with a trout stream (kayakable) that empties into Grand Lake out the back door. The cabin sleeps 6 with 2 bedrooms (a queen size bed in one, a full size bed in the other with electric mattress pads and down comforters!), while the living area has two rocking recliners and a queen size sofabed couch with a memory foam mattress. It is well-appointed with a modern kitchen (refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, oven/range, dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker). Wood paneled walls and ceilings with wood floors throughout. Dining table seats 4 (6 with leaf) with 4 more places at the breakfast bar. Bathroom with tub/shower and cable tv in living room. Cozy up with the gas stove while enjoying the views of the mountains, lake and stream through the large windows on 3 sides. Keep an eye out for the neighborhood fox and moose!
Year round you can enjoy downtown Grand Lake with shopping, restaurants and entertainment, antiquing, live musical theater in Grand Lake, museums, and nearby fitness center, health/beauty spa, and basketball. And, of course, wildlife viewing (esp., moose, elk, deer, fox).
Summer visitors can enjoy boating, rafting, kayaking, sailing, water-skiing, lake swimming, fishing, golf, tennis, biking, mountain biking, dirt biking, hiking, hunting, rock climbing, horseshoes, miniature golf, horseback riding, and hot air ballooning. And the Rocky Mountain Repertory Theater has a great summer schedule of Broadway musicals. So much to do...so little time!
Snowmobilers can sled in/sled out (snow permitting) to enjoy the snowmobile capital of Colorado, with over 100 miles of trails. Grand Lake is at the west entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park with cross country skiing and snowshoe trails galore. World class downhill skiing and snowboarding at Winter Park only 35 miles away and Steamboat Springs 93 miles down the road, with Sol Vista, a small local ski hill, just outside Granby, about 15 miles. Or enjoy the hot springs at Hot Sulphur Springs, a mere 23 miles from town. Or stay in the area and enjoy the many activities at Rocky Mountain National Park and in town during the winter, especially during Christmas and New Year's. Don't miss the holiday show at the Rocky Mountain Repertory Theater and the New Year's Eve celebration with frozen fireworks.
Come enjoy the crisp, clean air, beautiful starry nights, and majestic views of Grand Lake and Mount Baldy at our little slice of heaven. (please, no pets and no smoking!)

The cabin is so cozy and the hosts are very accommodating and helpful. Great place to stay.

The cabin was perfect. Clean and with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Cozy, quiet yet close to town, lake rentals and restaurants. The fish did finally bite on our last evening, which made for a great last night. We had a bit of a problem in the heating (was very warm out, yet fireplace was on) but I called Jeanette and she had Donald call and he had it resolved in quick order. Thank you so much for sharing this little piece of paradise. We love it there.

We had a great time at Lemmon Lodge. We’ve stayed at a few other cabins on the property and this one by far has the most stunning views! You can see the river and the lake from the huge windows in the living area. Jeannette was a great host, very communicative and made the whole stay so easy. Comfortable and well kept cabin with everything you need. We will be back for sure. Thank you!

Great location close to downtown. Very short walk to restaurants and shops. A little small for our family with two teenagers but was overall a great place.

Excellent way to experience the beauty of Colorado! It was still a winter wonderland when we stayed and was absolutely gorgeous.

My wife and I absolutely loved our winter stay at this amazing Lemon Lodge home. We could not have asked for a better property to enjoy our 3-night mountain retreat. Cabin location was perfect for quick and beautiful walk to main street to enjoy shopping and dining. The property was well stocked with everything we needed, and the decorations were charming. Nearby drives to Grandby and Kremmling provided stunning mountain, valley, and wildlife viewings.

The location of this cabin is incredible. We enjoyed stargazing from the rooftop deck, fishing steps away, a fire pit by the water’s edge. The cabin was clean, cozy and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay!

This cabin was perfect for our fall getaway. It is the best location in Grand Lake. You can walk into town from the cabin which is so convenient. The cabin is set in the peaceful Lemmon Lodge area where it is quiet and you have immediate access to the lake. We enjoyed the community fire pit and even took the cabin's kayaks out for a spin on Grand Lake. The owners were great and the communication was very prompt. I highly recommend this wonderful cabin.

This was an anniversary trip and this home did not disappoint. Stunning home and stunning views are what you receive with this home. Highly recommend and would book again.

This cabin was perfect for a getaway with one privacy issue that I didn’t care for on this particular trip. I gave an overall rating of three stars because there were a number of other tenants and / or residents in the neighborhood who used the backyard as their path to the lake. I was surprised to see people walk right by the back windows when I was sitting there reading or making meals. The property manager informed me that the HOA allows for an open plan so no one was trespassing - it just felt intrusive when all I needed was a very ‘antisocial’ three days away from my busy, social, day-to-day life in the Front Range. I would not recommend this cabin’s location if you’re looking for total privacy. I didn’t want to close the blinds because the stunning lake and fall foliage is why I came to Grand Lake. Otherwise a sweet cabin with nice ammenities and cozy!

We had the best family vacation at this magical property! If you are considering booking here, do it! This house is literally situated at the best location in Lemmon Lodge… Right next to the Inlet/river, where you can enjoy a picnic dinner overlooking the water, and just steps to the lodge’s private sandy beach, which was just perfect for our family. No crowds, just a very friendly and calm beach scene. Watching fireworks over the lake is a night we will always remember as a family.
Jeannette was a super responsive host and provided everything we needed in the adorable cabin. It was just perfect for our little family. We enjoyed cooking in the well appointed kitchen, playing games at the table together, and using it as a base camp for all of our adventures, both on the lake and in Rocky Mountain National Park. Could not have been better, and we will definitely be back! Thank you so much.

The property was amazing and we enjoyed wildlife every single day at the Lemmon Lodge cabin! We saw moose three different days we were there. The cabin amenities were wonderful!! We appreciated having kayaks, bicycles, and fishing gear available to us! The heated toilet seat in bathroom and dual heated mattress pad in master bedroom were wonderful touches! The views were amazing! The cabin was warm, cozy and had the cutest decor!
We went hiking almost every day!! Adams Falls and Cascade Falls were amazing! We enjoyed hiking at RMNP - despite snow drifts and flooding from snow melt!
It was nice missing tourist season snd practically having Grand Lake and the hiking trails to ourselves!
We highly recommend!

The cabin is gorgeous and the view is breathtaking. Everything was perfect. The cabin is close enough to walk to shopping and restaurants. It couldn’t have been better.

Cute, cozy little cabin right next to the lake. I mean, you cant get much closer, but also, there was a nice bit of privacy as well since you are kind of tucked into the river bank a bit. The views are astonishing. We went during the tail end of winter, so it was still pretty cold and everything was covered in snow, but we already want to go again when its warmer out.

the cabin is warm and cozy and just right if you are needing to unwind for a few days. If your lucky you will get to see the fox and moose that are at the property

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin! It was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed and many little extras such as puzzles, games, super soft sheets and a heated toilet seat! The view was beautiful and the first morning we were there it snowed, which was perfect! We didn’t get to see the moose, but did catch a glimpse of Roxy once! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us and we would definitely stay here again. Grand Lake is such a neat little town and is beautiful in the winter. It would be so fun to come back in the summer and enjoy the rooftop deck!

Our 2nd winter stay at the cozy Grand Lake cabin. Awesome getaway. No moose sightings this year, but she was around based on the tracks. We still need to get back here in the summer time to get the opposite season!

This cabin is cozy and charming, perfect for two adults! The location is a short walk to town and has a view of the lake and inlet! My husband and I snowshoed right from the back door! We loved our time here and want to come in the summer so we can kayak!

we never saw another guest in the entire resort the entire time we were there. The Gland Lake side is still recovering from the fire, but still an amazing property with great views and a great owner.
