Property is in a great location, clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Hot tub, mountain views, and memories made it a fantastic stay.

It was nearly 100 degrees our whole stay and we explored the entire region on our Motorcycles. As hot as it was we enjoyed every minute of it and coming home to a nicely AC’d cabin with amazing views was the bonus… rooms were nicely furnished, beds were comfortable, every amenity needed was there and the location was the best, not far out of town, yet quiet and private. Got a few visits from the local Black Bears also.

Love this property’s location. The house was clean and beautiful. The only only issue was one bedroom was to have a pullout couch, and it did not. But that would not stop me from staying again. Loved it!

It was a great location. Close to everything within 10-20 minute drive. Carpet areas had some stains from animals but expected with an animal friendly house.

The property was in a great location and was just as described. The property was clean. There was plenty of dishes and cookware. The hot tub was a huge plus! This house was a trip that created great memories for my family. Would recommend

Beautiful property. Does need repairs to tile/rugs. Massive pot holes on ride up to property. Can't beat the views! Enjoyed soaking in hot tub after hiking in the park.

This cabin was very clean, had all the necessities you would want in a cabin, and while on vacation, and the beds were comfortable, and there was a TV in every room, and everyone had their own showers. It was so much fun being there and being away from The big city. It was very peaceful there we even got to see a bear.

Location right outside the main stretch of Gatlinburg was nice, but we won’t ever stay here again. The cabin was not clean: walked in to a puddle of water on the floor in living room, leaking bathtub, disgusting tile and hardwood floors, even worse was the state of the carpet. Missing pieces so much that my husband stepped on the tack line outside main level bedroom and had a nail go through his heel. We had an infant with us and after crawling on floors his knees and toes were dirt covered-we can only assume it’s just built up grime from years of neglect and probably just running water over it instead of properly cleaning. Ceiling fan did not work in master bedroom, buttons missing on washer and dryer. Hot tub cover had black that rubbed off on us when we removed to use-assuming it was dry rot. Pool table is good for kids but don’t expect to play a real game with chunks of felt missing and a slight lean to the top. These people are lucky we don’t sue for false advertising and general state of cabin. The only saving grace was we spent as much time outside the cabin and the location gave us time to be downtown a lot. I hope these people invest a little more love to this place as it could be a wonderful place.

This was a good location with a great view from the balcony. The 5 bedroom 5 bathroom cabin was perfect for our large group. Check in and out was very easy. Communication was solid. Over all this place was good. BUT the cleaning crew must do better. It was obvious they didn’t vacuum very well, if at all. There were hair pins on the floor in my bedroom. This wasn’t the only room with stuff on the floor… frankly the carpet is in bad shape and needs replacing. I also must assume sweeping/mopping the tile and wood floor was lacking. We had a young child who was bear foot inside for an hour after first arriving, his feet were black. After seeing this everyone kept shoes on inside. As it was pretty gross. Based on these observations I can not assume anything thing else was necessarily as clean as it should be.

Problem Wifi no works, not enough toilet paper, not enough soap in every bathroom, not enough garbage bags, dishwasher cubes. beautiful views, real house

Was awesome that each room had their own bathroom. Couple small issues. One was power strip that was needed for internet and living room tv was not working. Luckily I travel with one so we were ok and I did report to office. Also central air not working on main floor and lower level. They had 2 portable units and the living room one did pretty good but the lower level had no hose to vent out hot air, so was very warm down there. Otherwise this was an awesome property and we enjoyed nights on balcony drinking wine and playing games inside. Family also enjoyed hot tub. Would stay again.

It is a nice place, but a couple of issues..the carpet is pretty trashed.. there are a couple of areas you could easily trip...the lighting is not the best inside and especially outside..not adequate at all when entering after dark...the waher and dryer buttons are missing.. they work, you just have work harder to get them started..the outdoor grill is set up right under a tree...and the largest room upstairs that face the mountains, the blinds do not open or work properly..

We love the location even with the roads needing repairs from the potholes. The kitchen was smaller than expected and had no large pots for cooking and not fully stocked as expected either. The carpet throughout desperately needs to be changed. It’s was stained and torn in a few places which became a hazard by the pool table. The broken tile at the top of the stairs on the main floor was hazardous as well with the screws uncovered. The mattresses need to be replaced as well. Some were difficult to sleep in by some of our group. I’d love to see how this place could look with the needed repairs and updates.

The pictures and the description of what sounds like a fun and relaxing place to stay are a lie. Parking is horrible. Allowed 3-4 parking spots for a cabin that sleeps 16. We barely fit 4 cars....barely. Outdated furniture throughout the cabin and we found toys in the cushions. The bears on the dining room table were dirty and one was broken. Pots and pans were small and not suitable for a family of 15. Had NO CABLE OR INTERNET for two of our three day stay. All three jetted tubs did not work. Hot tub was lukewarm at best. Carpets were torn in some places but the upstairs hallway carpet was dirty and disgusting. The knobs on the washer/dryer were missing. The pullout sofa downstairs was broken so it couldn't be used. Called property management and after a 30-40min wait was finally connected to someone. She was nice and took note of the few things we did have concerns about that was obvious right away after checking in. Was told they would have someone out that night to look at the cable/internet but no one showed....didn't even get a call to let us know that no one was coming. Next day the maintenance man showed up but wasn't able to fix the cable/internet and said the cable company needed to be called. Another man showed up for the jetted tubs be he too wasn't able to get them fixed. So for two days we had no cable/internet and no jetted tubs at all our entire stay. Called property management again to get some kind of refund because we didn't get what was promised to us and was told we might get back $25 a day for the amenities not working. How is it okay to charge $311+ a day for a cabin that needs to be updated, cleaned better and have working amenities? We did take video and pics so this doesn't happen to someone else. We will never rent from Jackson Mountain Homes again and will leave this review everywhere possible. This cabin really put a damper on our vacation. 👎🏻👎🏻

Nice location but home needs serious upkeep. Unpaid water bills notices on the door, broken tiles, leaky tubs, ripped bedroom carpet ripped and broken pull out sofas, broken deck planks, dirty floors and several light bulbs were out. Expected a lot more for a supposedly professionally managed “vacation home”
I also do NOT recommend the property management company, Jackson mountain homes as their guest services is apathetic and seemed annoyed I even called them. They also said they couldn’t connect me to a supervisor to discuss these issues until well after I was checking out, despite these very real issues we were having on the first night. When a supervisor did call me the last evening she was quick to deflect any responsibility to Jackson mountain homes and also blamed COVID for why nobody could address my concerns when I initially called.

This property offers five king bedroom suites each with a private bathroom! The large dining table was great for meals and game nights. IThe cabin was clean and well equipped. An added bonus was that we spotted a mama bear with two cubs on the road in front of our cabin and another large bear at the base of the hill. Be prepared for a steep and winding road ascending up to the cabin. All ten of us agreed it was a 5 star stay!

first family vacation post pandemic
This was our first all family vacation since pandemic and the first time in one big house. We used all five bedrooms with Thirteen people in the group ranging form 6 months to 54 years. The walls were thick enough keep everyone from waking up during late night feedings and early morning risers. The house fit our group perfectly

Fantastic vacation!!
The cabin was fantastic! There were 14 of us and we had plenty of room. The only complaints I have are minimal…the air filter needed to be changed, there was a small worn place in the main level bedroom that had tacks or nails or something on it that we stepped on a few times, and if you are cooking for a large crowd, there needs to be bigger pots and pans. But we made due and our vacation was fantastic.

Great place for fun and togtherness
This cabin was so well maintained and clean. There was plenty of room for our 7 and 15 year olds to spread out and really enjoy their time. We all loved the pool table and video game systems. Making meals in the kitchen and then being able to eat around one table made our time together that much more special. The fact that each bedroom had its own bathroom made getting ready easy and convenient every day we were in Tennessee. We cannot wait to come back with our family and friends from up north - this may become our go to place.

Maravillosa
Tiene una excelente ubicación. Todo está súper cerca. Recomendaría una limpieza súper profunda, en todos lados había polvo, los filtros de los aires estaban súper contaminados tenían años sin cambiarlos.

Good stay
Everything was good, but our stay was week before Christmas and we were celebrating our family Christmas and the cabin did not have any Christmas decorations. Was not a major problem but was disappointing for the young children with us.

Family Christmas trip
This was a very spacious cabin, however it could use a really good deep cleaning. Tons of dust on the walls, drawers were broke in kitchen and in certain bathrooms. We couldn’t get outlets to work on left side of kitchen. Furniture looked and was very used. During our stay there was a high wind alert and our doors on main level kept opening with the deadbolt locked- so doors could really use some new weather stripping. We loved the hot tub and seeing a bear our first day. Overall was a great trip, lots of neighbors.

Great place to stay!
The cabin was beautiful! The road leading to it was very step and winding. I would suggest guests arrive before dark. Living room furniture and carpet could use some updating. I would book again!

Cute & Affordable Cozy Cabin
Great location with beautiful mountain views and gorgeous sunsets. Saw plenty of birds & a few black bears. Cabin was clean & spacious. Internet & cable was slow at times but the video games kept us all entertained. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking & serving large meals. Ice maker needs updating in addition to the couches, loft & guest mattresses downstairs. Overall the best deal around. We had a great time!

Family Reunion
We had a great time and cabin was great layout for what we needed. Disappointed in lack of response when we reported that dryer didn't work - so we couldn't wash and rewear clothes as we expected to be able to do when packing and had to use same towels/washclothes entire visit. :(

Girl’s Getaway
Location was great. Property was clean and very comfortable. Photos all show a large gas grill, which was not there. This effected out meal planning greatly. Charcoal grill by entrance way too small. Description said ‘several chairs to enjoy deck” there were five old wooden rockers and one small table. The dryer was broken and the man who stopped by to fix it, left saying it needed a part - never saw him again. Kitchen well equipped with dishes, cups and glasses. Only 5 forks and two small sauce pans and a 9” fry pan. Needs pots and pans badly! Appliances were top notch! Bedrooms were nice, beds comfortable, closets need to have hangers. Overall the house was charming and comfortable. Views from the decks were amazing.

Great for large group
The 5 mater suites were just what we needed. The cabin set up is excellent, it just needs some updating. I’m not sure of the experiences of the others, but there was a strand of hair in my shower which makes me wonder how much effort was put into the cleaning. Overall everyone had a great time.

The location was great. There was enough space for everyone. The house could use new couches and bed mattress. Overall I would recommend clients to stay.

Disappointing
This was our first VRBO rental to be extremely disappointed with. We have been renting houses on VRBO for the last 5 years for Christmas. We didn't love the location or road up to the house it was extremely tight and steep, it had horrible parking and very little space around the house that you could actually walk around. Check-in was supposed to be at 4:00, but the cleaning crew didn't get finished until 6:30-7 and after two full days of driving we really wanted to get settled in. The house was very worn out, tiles missing on the kitchen floor, carpet ragged and coming up in serval places. I think the worst part was that the cleaning crew let us know that 2 of the 5 beds had signs of bed bugs! They let us know that an exterminator would be coming that night to spray, but no one ever showed up! The beds that we were actually able to sleep in were old and terribly uncomfortable, we didn't get very much sleep during our stay. Two positive things were the game room and the view, but that's about it. This house was unfortunately disappointing.

Great vacation
House was perfect. We saw bears on several occasions. Video games worked just fine although upgrade on pool sticks is needed. Hot tub worked great. Breakfast spot at the bottom of the hill is fantastic. Everything you could want to do is very close by. We had 7 adults and there was plenty of room for all.
