Wonderful time. Walking distance to all stores.

9 of us (all adults) stayed at this property for an annual skip. The location was great with quick access to highway 28 and 89. More than enough room for all of us, our luggage, skis, and gear. The fireplace warms up the whole house real quick. Given is was the winter, and Tahoe is in the mountains the descending driveway and deck were a little sketchy with packed snow and ice so be careful. Overall, top tier place that was a top tier value

It was perfect for our family. Everyone had a place to sleep. Nice size house that could accommodate our large group. It could use a little updating. Check out is a little early. But overall it was a great time.

Perfect Cabin Getaway
We had a wonderful time with our group friends at this cabin! The cabin is spacious yet very cozy and has everything you need (and is close to the lake and an adorable downtown!). We loved how the hosts had bedrooms with plenty of beds to accommodate a bigger group. We enjoyed cooking dinner in the kitchen, playing card games in the living room, and then going for a soak in the hot tub after a great day of spring skiing. Jim was very helpful and responded to a couple questions we had right away. Overall a wonderful stay and we hope to come back!

Wonderful vacation home!
We completely enjoyed this charming home! From relaxing in the hot tub after a day of skiing, to board games and family dinners together. Everyone felt at home and relaxed and we had tons of snow for the kids to play in!

Change of pace
After 35 years having a yearly college reunion in South Lake Tahoe, we decided to change it up. The house was in great shape, hot tub was nice, and it was an easy walk into town. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Time
We had a great stay at this cabin! The host communicated well. We loved the hot tub on the deck for night time, it was perfect. The bedrooms and living space were a perfect size. The location was great and only a short walk down to the beach and town. We would definitely stay here again!

Great cabin in Tahoe City!
Great cabin! We were seven people and we had plenty of space. The hot tub was a nice place for relaxation. Just what we all needed. Also, a nice walking distance to shops and the beach.

Perfect location and comfortable stay.
This cabin is nestled in a great area. We walked to the beach, to downtown restaurants, and to hiking trails. Everything inside the cabin was great. Plenty of beds, towels, and accommodations to make for a great stay. I would absolutely come back.

Just what we needed in a pandemy
I wonder if this review will be time capsule in history. Picture of 2020 shelter in place for 7+ months due to pandemic. Scratching at the walls desperate to get out we seek refuge in great Lake Tahoe. All of California is on fire The respite of fresh air is badly needed. Wonderful little cabin in the woods was exactly what the doctor ordered. A lot of hiking trails around the cabin. amenities were wonderful. the hot tub and grill were are used almost every night. We were just a short drive away from the beautiful lake. We must note that not one time did we turn on the TV. Internet could have been a touch better as there were seven of us trying to connect but not a deal breaker. Would absolutely come back again.

Great for groups of families
Excellent for our group of 3 families. Great location. Everything was convenient and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked and fireplace was wonderful. The only thing that bothered us a bit was dog hair from couch pillows and carpet got on our clothes and socks.

Fun New Years Trip
The property is conveniently located in central Tahoe City. Only misses is that it is at the bottom of a road that can get icy. 4 wheel drive kept us out of trouble but my brother had difficulty in his Suburban.

Stunning Tahoe
This property is ideally situated for walking into Tahoe City, the jewel of Lake Tahoe. It is perfect for 4 separate family units, having 2 double bedrooms and 2 very generously sized bedrooms which would each happily accommodate 4-5. The hot tub and decking are generously proportioned.

Summer Family Fun
A lovely spot for a multi-family weekend! The honey is just the right size for a larger group, stocked with amenities, hot tub was wonderful, walkable to downtown and right close access to trails. The neighborhood dogs visiting made it even more homey feeling. 😊

Great cabin close to town
We appreciated the proximity to Tahoe City and had no trouble getting in. Kitchen is well stocked and the fireplace is easy to use. This is a very reasonably priced house for what you get.
We did have trouble getting the jets to work on half of the hot tub and the TV is a bit small. Still, we would love to come back next year!

Beautiful area
We loved the four bedrooms and parking during non-snow season was good for three cars. The home is a home-away-from-home for the owners, not like a hotel where there things are standard and up-to-date for guests. Not a five-minute walk to downtown, and especially not back home. Views are outstanding.

Great Summer Stay
Booked this property for a summertime Bachelorette party of 12. Everyone got a bed and it was plenty spacious. An easy walk to downtown and the beach made this trip so enjoyable!

Perfect accomodations and location for a large group for a casual stay.
We had a wonderful time! The layout, number of beds and location for our annual ski trip. There was a problem with one of the showers that was immediately remedied by Jim Holiday despite the fact of a holiday weekend. Every one who stayed in the cabin had nothing but praise for the accommodations and the convenience and location. (less than 15 minutes to Alpine and Squaw). I highly recommend this home for your reunion at Lake Tahoe!

Perfect family spot
This place was the perfect home for our family vacation. We had 12 adults and 2 children. The bathrooms were amazing, especially the one upstairs. The rooms upstairs were spacious and very roomy. Everything was provided from linens, to towels, to cooking ware. There was just little stuff we would change. 1. Cooking took awhile bc the electric oven would turn on and off (unless that's how it's supposed to be, but I wouldn't know since we normally use gas). 2. Thermometer screen would sometimes go blank so we can't change the AC/heat settings. 3. Every couch pillows had dog hair on it :(

Everything was perfect
Very nice home. It was perfect for out needs. The hot tub was a nice bonus. Walk to town! We loved it and will very likely be there again.

Amazing stay in Tahoe City
We were a group of 14 international students from the University of Santa Cruz and we spent President's Day week end in the cabin. We loved it, the cabin was absolutely perfect, very spacious and clean and everything was provided (sheets, towels, cooking utensils, TV, heater...). The outdoor grill and the hot tub were very nice as well ! The location was perfect for us, in the heart of Tahoe City (very close to Safeway) and only a 10-15 minutes walk from the lake. We enjoyed out stay very much and we definitely recommend !

Great place for Thanksgiving getaway
There were 9 of us = 6 adults, 3 children, plus 3 dogs so we needed to find a place that would be comfortable. This place was perfect for us. I agree with Jan M. that there were plenty of towels but only a couple of washcloths, other than that however, there were plenty of supplies. Though the cabin is somewhat dated the appliances are fairly new.
It’s a cozy place and would definitely recommend this place to a large family. Yes, Mollie, the neighbor’s dog was there to greet us and visited us daily.

Comfortable and private
I agree with one reviewer about the beds. Everyone thought they were very comfy. Overall the place is comfortable. There's a great private deck with plenty of seating facing the wooded area. The kitchen is a mix of dated and new. Though there were plenty of towels, there were no washcloths. We were glad we brought our own soap as there wasn't any to be found. The location is great! Quiet and convenient -- close to "downtown" and the lake.

Great Family Fun!!
We had a great time in this cabin with our whole family!! Felt very cozy and comfortable, almost like you were staying at a friends cabin, which is how our family rolls!! So close to Tahoe city, which is nice because you can use your bikes and avoid the awful traffic in town! The swimming in the area was no good but that's just because of the drought. We did a big scavenger hunt in town for our dad's 60th and had a blast, most shop owners were happy to help!! Will definitely keep this cabin in mind for future family gatherings!! Oh if you go say hi to the neighbors dog, Mollie, she's a sweetheart!!
