Was a great house! So much room, plenty of towels and bedding. Well appointed kitchen, lots of pots/pans and utensils. Great laundry room. Could use a good carpet cleaning which is why the 4 stars. I’d book it again!

Overall, the house was very comfortable and in a good location. The only two problems were:
(1) there is no air conditioning and the house got very hot in the late afternoon,
(2) very few of the windows have screens and neither sliding glass doors have screens.
The situation with the window screens was bizarre. They are lying around on the ground or totally thrashed or non-existent. This was an issue because you need airflow in the afternoon and evening to cool down the house. You can't open the windows without screens because there are too many bugs.
Fix the window screens!

We had a great time at this very cozy cabin. This is one of the best in Tahoe. Very close to shops, beach and trails. We are group of 8, we enjoyed the thoughtful design, privacy and space on this cabin. THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE, be mindful & respectful of the neighbors, because the house sits on a quiet neighborhood, WE LOVE IT!!! We had a grand time and for sure, WE WILL BE BACK! To the owners, Thank you for sharing your beautiful home ❤️

Let me start with the good.
- the location is perfect.
-The house has plenty of room.
-We had a very good experience with the property management company Vacasa. They were very responsive except for on minor item on check out.
The not so good
-The house was cleaned ok but not great. Found hair in the bathroom and also some used tissues.
-The Wifi is just terrible in the house.
-The BBQ had an empty tank (we reached out to the property manager and they got us a tank the next day. They were very responsive but that needs to be checked. We had to go buy a full tank so we could BBQ the 1st night and that cost us $75.)
-This house is really dated and is in dire need of refreshing. The garage door had one of the plastic panels missing. The garage was a total disaster. There was all kinds of stuff just tossed in there and there was just a lot of junk in the garage that needs to be cleaned out. The inside walls were marked up and there was one area where there was a hole that was patched up and not painted. We found a general lack of any upkeep at the property.
-The backyard was nice but it was not really picked up. Toys around in the backyard. The umbrella and umbrella stand just sitting up against the deck.
Seems like this is a party house and we got the impression that there was no desire to really go in and re-fresh this property at all.
I would end by saying it's not a terrible house, but it needs a refresh terribly bad.

A very nice and spacious house near Tahoe City

Nice house. Excellent local support team. Vacasa is useless. Arrived to a cold yellow foamy hot tub. Local staff worked their butts off to drain and clean it but wasn’t ready in time to use it on our trip. Zero response from Vacasa about the problem with property. Down stairs oven still wasn’t working. Lame to to seek out a place with a hot tub and have this experience.

The house location was great and the rooms & space was great in the house but despite attempts the hosts were unreachable. Be prepared for no host support.
We couldn't reach the hosts because the phone number for vacasa was having technical problems for at least 2 days and disconnected after an automated message. The customer service email in the app didn't work.
Wifi is okay but a little slow.
Items broken upon arrival:
1. The room over the the garage didn't have a working thermostat and was 42F when we arrived. We had to turn on the electric stove for heat.
2. The door to the primary bedroom's bathroom is stuck and doesn't slide open easily.
3. The oven in the main house kitchen doesn't work.

Rooms were spacious and the backyard was perfect for snow play. Kids and adults had a wonderful time. Management was very responsive to a few requests. I have stayed at many vacation homes in Tahoe, but this was the first time renting Silverado Escape and it was one of the best Tahoe vacation experiences so far. Thank you!
