We enjoyed our stay very much. Neighborhood has some holiday rentals but the majority of the homes are local families. Its an easy 15 minute walk to the town centre or the fabulous beach. At the house the pool and decks are great for hanging out. The beds are comfortable, and the shower rooms are clean. As long as you understand that this is not trying to be a "luxury" home, and that it's in a friendly but not upscale neighborhood, you won't be disappointed.

Very happy with the home. Loved the Pool, refreshing. Beds very comfortable. The owner would reply right away when asked questions. Overall the house is great.
10 minute walk to Beach
We walked everywhere. Did not need a car at all.
Golf carts are available if want to rent. Found them expensive. 60.00 us for a day.
Bus takes you into PV, or Bucerias, to get groceries.
Then easy to grab cab to go back with all your groceries.
Lots of places to eat, cheap or expensive your choice.
We cooked at home mostly. Vegie markets on streets by the locals are awesome.

Wonderful taste of Mexico
We had a fantastic time staying in this beautiful home. It's actually in a neighborhood that is a mix of locals and visitors so we really enjoyed being a part of a real neighborhood. We brought our little dog Lilly and all the dogs were super friendly. I think she had the time of her life. All of our ?s and needs were dealt with immediately. I totally recommend this house. Very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well supplied with all you need so we cooked quite a bit.

Great experience
The property was in a great location close enough to town and beach but far enough away to escape the noise. You can easily walk to the town and beach but we rented a golf cart from Riviera golf carts which made it easy. The house was great as we especially liked the water fall swim pool. If you want a nice place in a safe and quiet neighborhood this is your spot. They were also flexible with check in and check out times which really helped us out. Great house, great location, and great staff!

Lovely stay and lovely hosts - great option for your sayulita stay!
My family and I stayed at Casa Febrero for 4 days and loved it. Zach provided a great amount of information for us prior to our stay, and Patricia was very friendly when she greeted us upon arrival. The location was in a quieter area just across the highway, so we did not find it loud at night. The rooms were clean and the whole house was colourfully decorated. The full kitchen was great, and we cooked numerous meals from home. Thank you for a perfect welcome to Sayulita!

the House was clean enough, no TV set anywhere, strong WiFi signal, pool is cold.
After I made reservation I attempted to contact owner because house manager was not responsive to advertise arrival time. The owner never responded to my various attempts to reach him. I contacted VRBO for assistance and they were no able to contact the owner either. I felt cheated and defeated at first. I was told by VRBO to go to property and if the was was not ready by 4 PM to call then to be placed in a hotel for the night. I tried to cancel my reservation but there was a 50% penalty. The house manager did not care about my requests about honoring the arrival time. At the end the house was ready but owner never contacted me. The communication with him was zero. The house is located about 15 minutes walk to the town and beach, it has car parking available (1), no TV sets anywhere. It has what you need to cook and prepare light meals. Plenty of towels. No shampoo or soap for bathrooms. Stores nearby are very small with very limited supply of over priced items. We had almost all our meals in the downtown. Good air conditioning (individual units throughout the house). Neighbors are a bit noise but we had good nights rest. I think a bit over priced for area and neighborhood. Next time I visit this charming town I will try my luck somewhere else. That was my experience.

Heaven
An amazing place. Situated a 10 minute work into town. The surrounding area was quiet and the neighbours were friendly. Inside the house is amazing. It offers a number of places to relax - including by the pool, under the patio and on one of the balconies.
Would highly recommend!

Very nice home. Festive decor.
The property has it's own gated parking. Having a mini van it was a tight squeeze but a sedan or small car can get in and out easy. Parking space is important in Sayulita. The beds are very firm, and there were only 2 blankets for 3 beds and those were too small to cover 2 people. When asked about another blanket the host replied " we ussualy don't have this mild weather " fortunately the house my brother rented had extra so we borrowed theirs.
The house at the end of the street raises cock fighting roosters, they crow all hours mostly from 3 am to 7 am.
Be sure to get the directions straight before you go as even the locals don't know the names of streets and there are no street signs. Once you get your bearings it is easy to get to places.
Zach and Patricia communicated well and promptly responded to a leak we found in the kitchen.
All in all it is a nice space for a good price.

Great house. Close to town but nice and quiet.
Only mild complaint is the stale musty smell on the main level of the house.

Had a great experience in Sayulita and plan on returning year after year. The house was perfect .
Our kids (2 and 4yrs ) loved our little neighbourhood. Tucked away and quiet with sounds of Roosters and Chachalackas in the morning and afternoon. Ha. We rented a golf cart and bombed around town.

Sweet house in Sayulita
This was our second time staying at Casa Febrero. We love the house and the town. Its and easy walk to the beach and into town. The house in very comfortable. The kids loved swimming in the pool in the morning and in the afternoon after a day at the beach. The upstairs patio gets a nice breeze and is a great place for relaxing in the evening. It is also a great place for watching the thunderstorms that sometimes roll through at night. We had a fantastic time in Sayltita and loved the house.

Beautiful property a short walk from town
Our group of 6 stayed here for 4 nights and we had a wonderful stay.
It's a little off the beaten path and took a little maneuvering for our taxi driver to find, but when you open the gate it's like walking into your own little paradise.
It's just a short walk into town, (we walk a lot in our daily lives to give you a bit of perspective) and is a great place for more adventurous people.
We had 4 teenagers with us and they really liked the pool and outdoor spaces, and the rooms were comfortable enough for them to share.
The upstairs suite was very luxurious with two private patios, double closets, and a large bathroom.
I'd definitely recommend Casa Febrero for a small group visiting Sayulita!

Charming, comfortable, clean house.
This is the 3rd time I've been to Sayulita and the 3rd time I've stayed at Casa Febrero. It is situated in a charming Mexican neighborhood that offers an authentic glimpse into life of the locals. It offers all the comforts of the upscale resorts, but without the obnoxious insulation and culture jamming. I couldn't recommend Casa Febrero more.

Great house for 2 couples.
The house is great, we loved it. People need to understand that this is a very rural area, and our greatest annoyance was the many very vocal roosters in the area, and dogs also. Our biggest issue was what to do with the trash. Zach is extremely helpful and prompt in answering any questions.

Lovely house and gorgeous grounds!
The house was perfect - slept 6 of us comfortably. Very well equipped. The master suite in particular is quite luxurious. The pool is a nice bonus. Patricia ensured we were well looked after.
The location of the house is ideal, it's an easy walk to central sayulita, but it's in a less-trafficked location.
Would recommend highly to anyone!

Great home in a quiet setting
We stayed at Casa Febrero with our two young boys and in-laws in October 2016 and had a fantastic time! The home was perfect for us! It was very clean, had a great layout, was well stocked with everything we needed to eat in (which we did almost every breakfast and dinner) and comfortable seating to enjoy playing games or reading books in the evenings. The neighborhood children are a total delight and welcomed our kids in their nightly games outside. It was nice to retreat to the pool after a day of swimming at the beach and to be removed from the busy town square at bedtime. We rented a golf cart from town which served us well with the kids, but the walk to town is enjoyable and easy. I wouldn't recommend driving a rental vehicle to town as the parking is so limited, but the golf cart was perfect! One of our trip highlights was the baby turtle release at dusk (ask around in town and they'll point you to the location)! I can't say enough about Sayulita and Casa Febrero. We are looking forward to our return in the future!

Casa Febrero, Sayulita, Nayarit, Mexico
House, owner, and manager were all great. Tripadviser, through FlipKey and AirBnB, however almost ruined our vacation, by not advising the owner of our final payment, so, when we called the manager for access to the property, she advised us the reservation had been canceled. Thankfully, her and the owner were both very accommodating and helpful, and we were able to get in quickly.
Assess from the main road can be a little tricky, especially after a good rain, and some of the surrounding area seems a little sketchy, but once you are here for a day or two, your comfort level improves.
The house itself is great, with plenty of room indoors and out for relaxing the day away, or relaxing the evening after a return from a day in town.
Would highly recommend and look forward to a future return.
Highly recommend the Habanero Margaritas at Su Casa in town, and for fitness buffs, there is a gym two buildings down.

Beautiful Tropical Oasis
My husband and I stayed at Casa Febrero for almost 2 weeks, for our honeymoon. We loved the house and appreciated all it's thoughtful amenities. We decided to not rent a car and enjoyed our daily walks in to town, which gave us an opportunity to meet the neighborhood kids. It also felt nice to be a little bit removed from all the tourists and late night parties. The house is very comfortable and clean with AC's in every room as well as ceiling fans, soft sheets & comfortable beds. The home is very secure also which we appreciated. WIFI worked great even by the pool and up in the master suite. There is laundry on site which came in handy for our long stay. The pool was the perfect temperature and kept very clean and the tropical landscaping surrounding the pool and patio were breathtaking. The kitchen had everything we could have asked for, nice cutting knives, a blender, coffee maker, and even a grill outside on the patio for grilling. We ran into some friends in Sayulita and had them over for a BBQ and the house had everything we could need. Large enough for 6+ guests to sleep comfortably. Patie, the house manager, is very attentive and accommodating as well, if we needed anything or had any questions we just sent her an email and she responded right away. We were very pleased with our choice of Casa Febrero. I would highly recommend this property to others, in fact I already have to several friends thinking about visiting Sayulita.

Very comfortable and enjoyable stay at Casa Febrero
Our stay at Casa Febrero was very enjoyable. We were 4 adults and 2 children. But the owner should update the location of the house on the map as it is not correct and you need to cross the highway to get to the main square and also the beach. The house is actually very close to the river. While the house was about 15 minutes from the beach. The distance to the beach was longer than we had expected from the location on the map. Everything else was excellent, we ended up renting a golf cart to get around to the beach and town. The pool was perfect to cool off in after coming home from the beach in the afternoon. All of the bedrooms had very comfortable beds in them. The property manger was very helpful and answered any questions we had. It was really nice to eat breakfast on the outside table. I would recommend this rental to others. Our family had a really great time staying here.

Sayulita home
Very nice home. The pool was great to cool off after walking back from the ocean. It was a bit far from town. Everything was in good shape.

Highly recommended to stay at Casa Febrero
The home is very nice, extremely clean and well located. Is a 10 minutes walk to the beach and to Sayulita small downtown where you can fin d everything. The kitchen is excellent for cooking breakfast and dinner (for the ones that enjoy cooking) and it has a grill on the patio which is very convenient for grill burgers and carne asada. The pool with the waterfall is just great just to enjoy the evenings at home after being all day at the beach. I do recommend staying at Casa Febrero.

Highly recommended!
We recently stayed at Casa Febrero with a group of girlfriends and fell in love with Sayulita! We walked to town daily (10 mins) for coffee, fresh fish tacos, margaritas and time on the beach. The walk was really easy and safe. The house was clean, Patricia (housekeeper) was very friendly and accommodating and we enjoyed staying in a local neighborhood rather than a resort! The pool was perfect for a quick dip and we enjoyed the relaxing pool waterfall at night. We highly recommend going to Yeikame in Sayulita for their amazing Sopas and then follow it up with a stop at Restaurant Carmelita for some tequila! You won't be disappointed!

Our trip to Sayulita was such a treat as was our stay at Casa Febrero. We are quite sure we couldn't have picked a better accommodations. The house is a quick walk (say 10 minutes) to the heart of Sayulita and to the beach. We loved hopping into town for breakfast and to enjoy the beach and the bustling downtown; only to return to the house for an afternoon dip in the pool or to relax poolside with a book and the sound of songbirds echoing in the background. We often cooked dinner at the house as it is complete with a full kitchen and plenty of music to cook to. The house is spacious but charming. The master suite upstairs was SO NICE and bright and big with double doors that open to a balcony surrounded by lush plant life, a full bathroom with a with double sinks and pretty tile work, a sitting area perfect for morning coffee, plenty of closet space, and another patio with a palapa that overlooks the pool. This house was perfect for that much needed R & R.
Recommendations while you stay:
Playa de Los Muertos: Grab a coconut or a michelada and listen to the waves on a nearly empty beach. Just a short walk from downtown.
Estela Rooftop Bar: Best drinks I've had in a long time. Go for the Jalapeño Cucumber Margarita if they have it. There was one with cardamom and ginger too that was sooooo good. Also an amazing selection of Mezcal. Large rooftop patio overlooks the beach. (Above the OXXO where the river meets the ocean)
Smoothies: On your walk in to town you will probably pass this amazing open air smoothie spot. Get yourself one!
Enjoy!

Navidad en Sayulita
Our family's trip to Casa Febrero and Sayulita was fantastic and with too many stories to count. Patricia, the local manager, was extremely helpful with showing us the house, answering questions, and being available. The house is in a local neighborhood populated by year-round residents. This is the way we like to vacation, living as part of the community while we stay, and very educational for our children, but be aware it is not a resort environment. The house was excellent, we ate in half the time, used the pool every evening, and took advantage of the extensive CD collection. The town of Sayulita is very safe and provided many exciting activities and memories for our teenagers! We will never forget our Christmas at Casa Febrero.
