We rented the entire house and had a wonderful time. It’s absolutely beautiful and the views are amazing from the top. The road up to the house is a bit rough but ended up being fun in the golf cart. Rent the golf cart! Everything was clean when we arrived. The neighbors are really nice and we all felt very safe and welcomed.
We did have a slightly difficult time communicating with the host. However, the owner, Benjamin is very quick to respond and did make sure our stay was great. The drinking water supplied was half empty and leaking on the first floor and the one in top room was half empty upon arrival. The host did end up bringing more water once we got a hold of him so we were only out of drinking water for one day. No big deal but it did make us nervous at first.
The pool was clean and they do send a pool cleaner while there. We had a great time starting each day with a swim.
The only thing that was a disappointment to us was the room with bunk beds. I imagine it’s for kids. The room is the size of a closet and the beds barely fit in it. No room to put luggage or a ceiling fan and it was too hot/muggy. The mattresses on the bunk were extremely uncomfortable. The two friends that had to sleep on them were not happy about it. Just keep that in mind if needing 4 beds for adults. There is a comfy couch one adult could sleep on upstairs as an alternative.
I highly recommend this house and hope to stay again on my next visit. It really is spectacular!

Our stay at Casa Paraiso in Sayulita made our experience all the more memorable! Nestled safely on a side road just minutes away from restaurants and shopping by golf cart (and just a few minutes more by walking + coffee right down the road), our location and proximity to the downtown Sayulita area and several beaches was exactly what we were looking for.
The gated premises added a feeling of security in an already friendly and welcoming environment. The house boasting 3 levels for a family of five was key! When not eating street tacos and taking in the sights and sounds of Sayulita, we rested comfortably on our different levels with the AC and ceiling fans cooling us down (after doing most of our cooling down in the pool!)
The “palapa” was the absolute gem of our stay… providing a tremendous view of the town and ocean with cooling breezes, the sounds of mariachi in the distance (and not so distant!) added to the vibe of overall relaxation while sipping on some locally made tequila! We had little issue kicking our legs up, reading, and even dozing off occasionally into very rarely taken siestas in our real lives. It was so great we barely had time to take advantage of the hammock… but it was glorious when we did!
Our contact, Will, was fantastic with his engagement and responsiveness if/when any questions arose. He assisted in setting up a ride to and from the airport (it is customary to pay UP FRONT for this service as well as the golf cart that is on site).

This is a hard review to write because we loved our stay in Sayulita but we did have some issues with the place. Will, the manager, was an absolute sweetheart to work with. He was kind and helpful and did everything he could to make our stay the best it could possibly be. The AC wasn't working, the toilets struggled to flush and one of the faucets wasn't working. Will got the faucet to work, but, despite his efforts, the AC never did work in the upstairs unit and one of the toilets struggled to flush the entire time. Will was very helpful but the owner, Benjamin, was hard to work with. If everything was working as advertised, we definitely would give this place five stars! I'm hoping that after we left, they were able to get everything fixed and ready for the next guests. The location was great but you'll definitely want to rent the golf cart from them. Because things weren't working right, they let us use the golf cart (thanks for that!) which was awesome, fun and so helpful to have access to given we had kids with us.

The Casa is split into two apartments. The Casa is huge with a beautiful top floor for relaxing and a view of the ocean. The top floor requires access through the 2nd floor apartment. Both apartments have access to the pool. When we arrived the pool was very dirty green with slicks of oil, it took 3 days to get the pool cleaned and useable. On arrival the Project Manager was not helpful, when asked about the water situation at the Casa I was told by Zoey that the water in Sayulita is not plentiful. Our 1st night and there was no water out of any taps. so 2.5 days without water, hauling water to 3 floors for toilets is not a vacation. We lost water 2 more times, which was rectified by getting the water truck. Plus the pump broke which was one more time without water 1 day. There is no welcome booklet with info on area, restaurants etc, Zoey told us to follow Sayulita Life for our questions. We did photograph a booklet from friends for our trip. We had to ask each time for the water jugs even though they would take away empties without bringing full ones to site. The sheets are not nice polyester and the 2nd floor bed is not very comfortable. Big issue with the septic smells coming from 2nd floor bathroom, the bathroom up top and below are fine. 1st floor water pressure is non existent. The cleaning staff do an extremely good job, very pleased with their cleaning. We rented the golf cart but would rent from a company next time with a cart that shows % of charge left.

It was our first time travelling to Mexico, and We chose Casa Paraiso on a hunch after reading various articles about Sayulita. Sayulita is a bustling walking town, and the rental property sits in a quiet street just on the outskirts. We were planning on hiring a vehicle, but changed our minds after deeming it unnecessary, and used transit or taxis if we ventured further afield. The property itself is spacious, airconditioned and has many wonderful features, such as a shaded rooftop area for barbecuing and relaxing and a pool on the ground level. The one slight inconvenience is that there is no access to laundry, and it was very difficult to dry things because of the humidity, but there is a local laundromat if you are desperately in need. Overall, we had a wonderful, authentic experience of Mexico in a beautiful, safe location and would definitely consider returning some day.

Everything was very easy and straight forward. We really enjoyed the palapa. We have been staying in Sayulita for nine years. This is a really good deal for the property. You can walk or ride a golf cart into town. We used the daily after he beach. There is some construction happening next door but they were very quiet and respectful of our privacy. We would definitely stay again at this home.
