This south Mission beach house is one house from the ocean in beautiful South Mission Beach with Ocean Views from all rooms. Steps to the boardwalk and sand this is a 1650 ft.² 3BD/3 ½ bath vacation home. Encompassing the 2nd and third floors, you'll get ocean views from every room and Sunset views from the patio deck! This home has a total of 3 KING BEDS and 1 Queen sofa sleeper.
As you enter the home on the main level there is living area with a queen sofa sleeper, a flat screen smart tv. To the left is the first bedroom with a King bed, en suite full bath with tub/shower combo, flat screen smart TV, walk-in closet and access to an ocean view deck. To the right is the 2nd bedroom with a king size bed, plenty of closet space, an en suite bath with tub shower combo, a flat screen smart TV, and access to a ocean and sunset view deck. There is also a full size stack washer/dryer right before you head up the stairs to the main living area.
The main living area features an open floor plan that is light, bright and airy with views, views, and views. To the left is a 3rd bedroom with King bed full en suite bathroom with separate shower and vanity area, separate toilet area, walk-in closet, ocean view and smart tv. . There is a dining table for 8, and an open kitchen with a breakfast bar, granite counters and stainless steel appliances. A 1/2 Bath is also located upstairs off of the kitchen.
Off the main living area is a view deck. The north deck has beach and ocean views all the way up the coast to La Jolla! Relax on the outdoor sofa and chairs and enjoy the BBQ and outdoor fireplace!
This Mission Beach Vacation Home has a 2 car garage and can fit up to two vehicles and an additional parking spot for car/truck in front of the 2 car garage. There are beach chairs, bikes, umbrellas, beach toys located in the garage. An enclosed outdoor private shower is located at the bottom of the stairway to rinse off the sand before going upstairs.
The famous Mission Beach boardwalk is just steps away. Belmont Park is less than 1/2 mile, and there are restaurants, pubs, and markets within close walking distance.

Property is just a described, plenty of space and well equipped. We used the kitchen and outdoor grill each day. Loved the ocean views from both patios. We used the 4 bikes to cruise the boardwalk. You can't beat the location. Just steps to the beach/ocean. A block to the bay. Right next to market, coffee shops, restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet and great for families. We would love to visit again.

Perfect location, stocked with all amenities including beach supplies. You can fly in and be set for any adventure. TVs galore, remodeled and updated. Didn’t notice if there was or was not someone below us. Private balcony is awesome for capturing views of ocean and bay. We will definitely return!

Property was very clean, and the location awesome. The garage & amenities in the garage were an added plus. The kitchen was well stocked as we were there for 10 days, and the bedrooms were very nice. There were a few minor issues with the wi-fi, which was promptly addressed by the owner, but we could not get the TV's in the 2 lower bedrooms to work during our stay, and the was no TV in the upstairs master suite. Our last two days were shared with gray skies, and Hurricane Hilary. The owner was very attentive & responsive. The owner even refunded a days rental due to a weather related issue with the hurricane. Overall this is an outstanding property that you can't go wrong with, and very highly recommend.

We had an amazing week in Mission Beach! The accommodations were perfect - particularly that each bedroom has its own full bath, and an additional half bath upstairs. Lots of room, super comfy beds/sheets, beautiful, updated bathrooms, tons of closet space, and plenty of living space. We spent a LOT of time on the outside patio - eating most meals, enjoying the sofa and fire table, and the bbq. You can hear the waves from practically every room in the house, but sitting outside was the best! From sunny mornings to beautiful sunsets.
Every amenity was covered from two types of coffee makers, plenty of dishes/glasses/serve ware, and even baking pans! We enjoyed using the boogie boards and bikes. Our two small to mid-size SUVs fit snugly in the garage... needed to be careful pulling in and out, but they fit. So nice to have off street parking.
Property owners had near immediate replies to any questions, but check in/check out instructions, and the list of how to use amenities (wifi, tv, door locks and garage codes) were emailed in advance and/or posted in the house for easy access.
We had a family vacation that included our 17 year old daughter and one of her friends - they had a blast! The location is perfect. They could head just steps out to the beach, walk to Belmont Park and ride the rollercoaster, ride bikes along the boardwalk and bay, etc.

Four adults and two toddlers had a fantastic stay at Mission Beach . Great location! Lovely neighborhood! Never move the car . A spotless and very comfortable two story complex with ocean views from both levels , with a lovely well equipped kitchen. The 3.5 spacious bathrooms ( one in each bedroom ) and the half bath off the kitchen were very accommodating. . Garage parking perfect ! Check in seamless! Host very helpful and extremely pleasant! Just a FYI …. That there are many steps to experience Paradise . There are 18 steps up to the front door, plus the inside staircase to get up to the kitchen, dining, living area ,,and third bedroom. We will definitely return to Paradise !

We had an awesome time at this place. It’s a beautiful home just a few steps away from the beach. The market and restaurants across the street make things really convenient. The house provided a lot of fun toys for the beach as well as bikes for the boardwalk. Sherie was awesome to communicate with, she was quick to get back to us with any questions. When we arrived it was late and dark (Midnight). We were able to get into the property easily per the provided instructions. The amenities of the home provided were as described and the proximately to the beach was perfect. We were just one house away from the beach (close enough for a good view but away from the traffic of the beach). We were able to see the surfers hitting the surf early in the morning and the sunset in the evening. Very close to the airport, zoo, SeaWorld, and Belmont park. We would definitely stay here again.

Very well supplied and comfortable home. The ocean view was stunning with sunsets to capture. Host was very attentive. I would most definitely recommend. The outside shower was great having smaller kids along. I would definitely return, like tomorrow if i could! I would check in first as like i said, very well supplied to see what you might need. I was amazed! Garage had 2 parking spots where we were able to fit two cars. We rented a Hyundai Elantra and had no problems getting in or out. You don’t really need a vehicle because everything is within walking distance. Lovely family vacation with memories made.

We were 3 retired couples escaping the desert heat and wanting some ocean time. The location and comfort of this unit were perfect for us. It had everything we needed to have a wonderful 4 days. We could enjoy ocean views every evening snd morning from the roof deck. Owner was great to work with - we’ll book again.

Usually, my expectations and reality with a rental don’t match but in this case, I was pleasantly surprised. We did rent it during a heat wave (who knew??!!) and experienced problems with the AC but the property owner did her best to resolve it over a Labor Day weekend holiday. Much appreciated. Overall, our family had a very nice reunion. *Note: do not rent a large vehicle as the garage spots are very narrow and short.

Great location close to beach
This house was perfect for our family of 5. There was plenty of space for everyone with a great layout and loved having 3 bathrooms. We took many walks along the beach, tried a number of area restaurants, sat around the firepit at night and the kids spent time boogie boarding and biking with the supplied equipment. I highly recommend this rental!

Absolutely Fun
This was a great location and views of the ocean from patio spectacular. Fireworks from Sea World an added plus. Walking distance to just about everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again. All the accessories you would need including bikes ,boogie boards,paddle boards etc. We only used the bikes but nice to have available! A plus property!

Enjoyable stay on Mission Beach
We enjoyed our stay. The unit was extremely consistent with the listing and the pictures. It was well stocked including back up propane tanks for the outside fire table. The owner was extremely helpful in her communications. She even emailed ahead to warn us of some road work happening around the unit. She sent pictures, a video and personally talked to us to help us understand. She did additional research to answer our questions. We really appreciated the transparency. The unit has a nice view of the beach and ocean from both decks/balconies and all the back windows + is is close to many of the key attractions in San Diego.

Long weekend by the beach!
This house was absolutely perfect for three adult couples. All bedrooms had it's own bathroom, bedrooms were very spacious and all had ocean view. The roof top deck and fire pit was amazing each night. Excellent location.

Great beach vacation house
We rented it for a week as our home base and explored San Diego. We loved the house. The upstairs area, and the deck in particular, was a wonderful place to hang out. We saw dolphins from the deck one morning and humming birds every day. At night, we could see the fireworks at Sea World on weekends. The location is great, too - it's on the quieter and more residential part of Mission Beach, so we could walk easily to where all the activity was, but it was much quieter around the house. It's close enough to the southern end so it's easy to walk around to the bay side, which has a different feel. We would happily go back to the house again in the future.

The house was very clean and nice. Great view to the ocean. Very short walk to the ocean and beach. The house was very well stocked with necessities and we enjoyed it very much! The property manager was very easily to message and very quick to respond.

Everything we were hoping for! (Minus the air traffic)
We had four adults and two children ( 9 and 6.5) when we stayed and it was absolutely what we needed and hoped for! The house is fully stocked with everything we needed to make our meals at home, the view is amazing from just about every room! We were slightly disappointed that the upstairs patio was closed in, so to see the ocean you had to sit at the table out there, but it was still amazing! I did want to mention that this side of Belmont Park seems to be in the flight path of the airport runways, so it was super noisy in that regard. But obviously that cannot be helped and was in no way the properties fault! I would highly recommend staying here! It truly is one house from the boardwalk/beach and they have beach chairs, body boards, surf boards, bikes, kites…pretty much anything you could want for a beach vacation! The garage is SUPER tight to get into - we had a Pacifica and incurred some damage the first time going in, but again - nothing that can be helped! Just an FYI.

Just the getaway we needed!
We stayed here for part of our spring break with our two children under five. It was the perfect vacation home for all of us to enjoy the view, cozy by the fire, watch sea world fire works, and sleep soundly in the comfiest beds!! We enjoyed the updated furnishings, abundant TVs with cable, and space for our kids to play. We also appreciated the safety gate for the stairs. Very short walk to the beach and Belmont park, and a spacious garage (despite the tight doorway to get in). Our kids loved this home away from home and so did we. Definitely would return.

Spring Break Escape
We have stayed near Mission Beach at other properties in the past- we return again and again for the amazing environment and eclectic atmosphere. This particular dwelling is incredibly unique in that there is a broad distance between the buildings that stand in front it and the residence occupies the second and third stories of the building. As such, one can literally look from any of the west-facing windows and appreciate a generous view of sand and surf - actually, I was doing dishes from the north-facing sink and had a perfect view of the ocean. We arrived on a Thursday and messaged the owner. She was very responsive. We were lucky to have arrived on a day when an early check-in was available - we hadn't even asked for it, but Sherie, hearing that we had arrived so early, graciously offered it. We were so pleased to find the house clean and ready. There were unexpected perks: five beach cruisers in the garage and an array of toys from boogie boards to beach chairs, to a surf board. We had read reviews from others that the garage was "too small". Frankly, I think that this is a matter of perspective: this was a two car garage that very easily fit a smaller Nissan Sedan and left enough room for another. This, in a neighborhood such as Mission Beach is amazing- also, easy access is offered with both a portable remote as well as a key pad. You must understand, this is a very populated area garage parking for one car, let alone two is remarkable. If you have an SUV, you simply need to have someone in your party help you back in diagonally. Furthermore, the outdoor shower is a life saver: there is a light inside, it locks from the inside, and the thoughtful owner has left some body wash and hair products inside. So, yes: you can take off your suit, rinse off the sand, wash, wrap your towel around you and walk upstairs not tracking any of the beach with you. Another unique offering is that the three bedrooms have a king bed and an en-suite full bathroom. And the cherry on top is the half bath just off the kitchen on the third level. On our second morning around 0700, we saw porpoises playing in the surf about 15 feet from the shore while standing on the balcony! We were able to see the sunset every night from the master suite on the third floor. There are many restaurants and small markets within walking distance. Ralphs (Kroger) is about 2 miles away. Ultimately, we would, and do plan to book this location again!

Fresh Ocean Air
We loved the location of this property. For a group of five women seeking a refreshment weekend, this beach house was perfect. We gathered on the third floor patio and enjoyed the gas fire pit. Walked along the ocean to Belmont park and just enjoyed ourselves. The owner is an excellent communicator and very nice. Thank you for a lovely place to stay.
