Welcome to Light and Airy on the Bay! A penthouse condo with 3rd floor views overlooking beautiful Mission Bay! You will really feel like you’re on vacation when you walk into this bright and sunny unit, with floor to ceiling windows it feels like you’re flying above the bay. Impeccably kept, the amenities are endless, including pecan hardwood floors, an A/C unit that keeps you cool during the summer, and a large extended deck with over-sized seating area overlooking the bay.
You'll find your stay a little bit quieter and more relaxed and family oriented in this unit. The location is perfect for the true "Southern California Experience", a short walk to shops, bars, cafes, and restaurants. Walk from the bay to the beach in under 5 minutes to surf, boogie board, people watch or catch a beautiful sunset.
The layout makes it great for families and friends to share. You enter this unit on the 2nd floor of this 3 story building, expect 2 flights of stairs. The entry floor holds a foyer and a private king bedroom with a full bath. Walk upstairs to the 3rd floor and look out in amazement at the gorgeous view. This level hosts the open living room, kitchen, dining room and large open balcony overlooking the bay. Down the hall are the master suite and guest room. The master bedroom suite features a king bed, large soaking tub and separate shower, a double sink and walk in closet. The master bedroom closet also has two twin XL cots that can be rolled to wherever you would like. The guest bedroom has a queen bed, bay windows with views of the bay and its own full bath.
The kitchen is stocked for meal preparation, dining and entertaining. The living room and all bedrooms are equipped with a smart TV and cable. The beds are soft and cozy and the sofa, while it doesn't have a pull out, is large enough to accommodate a sleeping teenager!
The garage can fit 2 cars and has a washer and dryer, stand up paddle board, boogie boards and beach chairs. On the outside stairwell you’ll find an outdoor shower perfect for rinsing off after a surf, swim or playtime on the beach!

NOISE/NO PARTIES: Quiet hours are strictly enforced, 10 pm – 8 am per city ordinance. This property has ZERO TOLERANCE for noise, parties or loud music which includes any excessive daytime noise, cursing, yelling or screaming. Fines will be applied for complaints. Drinking games of any kind ie: beer die, pong, funnels etc. and music that is audible past the property line are strictly prohibited. Immediate eviction can result if these rules are broken.
San Diego Municipal Code 59.5.0502 states that at all times; any amplified sound that can be heard 50 feet away from the rented residence is prohibited. Between 10 PM and 8 AM, even normal conversation must be moved inside the rented residence. Per SDMC 51.1004 and California Penal Code 415.2 noise violations can result in fines (Up to $1,000) for property owners and Renters if there are repeated calls for noise violations to one address. Renters will be liable for any and ALL noise violation fines charged to the property owner. Excessive Noise disruptions can result in immediate eviction without the right to a refund of rental fees or security deposits.
Drugs/ Alcohol: Use of illegal/illicit drugs by any Renter, Guest, Occupant or Visitor in or on the grounds is strictly prohibited. Consumption of alcoholic beverages by a minor under 21 years of age is strictly prohibited.
No Smoking of ANY kind: This is a non-smoking property, both in and on the property. A fee of $1,000.00 will be charged for violation of this rule, plus any costs incurred to remove smoke odor or damage. Smoking includes but is not limited to: cigarette, cigar, marajuana, cocaine, incense, or vaping. While Marajuana is legal in the state of California it is NOT allowed on this property.
Properties are subject to exterior patrol by our staff and homeowner. If Renters are causing a nuisance, having a party, acting detrimentally toward the property, breaking the noise curfew or any stated rules and regulations we reserve the right to terminate the rental agreement, without refund, and immediately remove Renters and guests from the property. Absolutely no disturbances are allowed within this home or anywhere on the property premises. We also reserve the right to refuse occupancy if a house party is suspected.
Our neighbors are very, very sensitive to vacation rentals as it affects their right to live in a peaceful environment therefore we will enforce these policies in exchange for the privilege of renting this home as a vacation rental. The City of San Diego has adopted stricter guidelines for vacation properties and bad operators will not be allowed to rent their homes. If the actions of the Renter and their guests are detrimental to our right to rent as a vacation rental we reserve the right to evict and retain any rental fees and/or security deposits and will report abuse to the rental platforms and will take legal action against Renter if their behavior results in loss of permits.
Guest Occupancy:
Occupancy: The maximum occupancy for this Rental Agreement shall not exceed the number stated on the reservation. Only primary Renter and guests accounted for on the reservation are allowed to be on the property.
Age Restrictions: Primary Renter must be 25 years or older.
No Subletting: If Renter can not keep the reservation please alert us as soon as possible so we can assist in re-renting the unit. If the unit is not re-rented and at the rate of the current reservation Renter will not be refunded their rental fees.
Damages: Renter will leave property in good order.
Damage Fee does not cover excessive cleaning; including but not limited to overflowing trash, carpet or upholstery steam cleaning, Linen Damage (Sheets, Blankets and Comforters damaged from, but not limited to, tearing, food, blood or other bodily fluids and will incur full replacement value charges) or damage due to pets, parties or excessive guests in the unit.
If excessive cleaning is needed, Renter will be charged $100/hour, or actual charges, whichever is greater.If area carpets are excessively dirty after check out Renter will be charged a $300 fee for carpet cleaning or full replacement value PLUS any loss in rental income at $500/night.
NO DAILY MAID SERVICE: Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. The cleaning fee referenced above shall be applied to the cleaning service after check out. If daily maid service is desired it can be arranged for an additional daily fee.
Missing or damaged items will be charged at full replacement cost.
Kitchen: Cooking at high temperatures can result in strong smells that permeates throughout the home and into the fabrics of the home. Excessive odors can come from, but not limited to, popcorn, fish, certain spices etc. Please open windows, use kitchen fans, and be mindful that this is a shared living space. Should a strong odor be detected upon check out, an air purifying fee will be applied.

Our family loved the week stay at this property! The home was a perfect set up for two couples and children with three en suite rooms. Being right on the bay was perfect and next to the street directly to beach access was extremely convenient. We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. Being bay front and so close to the beach was perfect for our family. We were only a steps away from a number of good restaurants and coffee spots which was convenient. We will definitely stay again.

This is a fantastic condo with an amazing view - as advertised. The kitchen was well appointed with glassware, cookware and plates. The unit was spotless, and the outdoor furniture very clean. Very cute "beachy" artwork and home accessories are found throughout the living spaces. We were amazed how quiet and peaceful this location was! Such a nice spot to sit on the deck and soak in the spectacular view of Mission Bay.
One suggestion would be to install hooks in the bathrooms for travelers to hang their toiletries bags as the counterspace is limited. Overall a fantastic stay!

Great location overlooking the bay. The bay is outside the door. The ocean and beach walk is also very very close. This may be the best location to access the bay and the ocean. Easy walk to convenient store, restaurants, Belmont Park, etc. We walked to The Mission restaurant. Fantastic brunch!! So much California sunshine comes through the glass door wall, it is perfection. Open the doors to a nice breeze. I could stay here forever. Listing photos and description were accurate. Management communication was ok. They send automated messages but were non responsive otherwise.

We stayed at this unit for our son's wedding in San Diego and unfortunately, didn't end up with the time to play at the beach that we had hoped for!
Positives:
*Amazing communication before, during and after stay. provides an online book that gives all the info needed to plan trip
*So well stocked for beach play: SUP boards, boogie boards, sand chairs, toys and cooler
*Beautiful views to wake up to!
Negatives:
*SO many stairs-if you can't handle stairs, this isn't the unit for you.
*The unit below us was being renovated and they began pulling tiles off the wall at 7:00AM both Saturday and Sunday mornings. I actually went down there on Sunday morning as it was constant banging-luckily, this would probably only affect stays currently
*The unit is clean, but is definitely showing wear and is getting in need of some updates.

This property was actually perfect! Very clean, beds were comfy, had everything we could want to cook, go to the beach etc. Have absolutely no complaints at all about this property. Great location, it was our first time staying on the bay side and we loved it. Close to the ocean and definitely more peaceful and relaxing.

This unit was perfect for our family group of three couples. Some of the highlights were the glass walls and doors facing the bay so we could watch the SeaWorld fireworks every night and one night there were a school of stingrays feeding at the edge of the bay! The deck was perfect for coffee in the morning and reading books when we needed down time. The kitchen was well stocked and made cooking our own meals easy. It was a very quick walk to the ocean with the bonus of a wagon, chairs, boogie boards and an umbrella supplied in the garage. This was a wonderful place to stay, would definitely book again!

My family stayed here for a week of our spring break, and had the most wonderful visit. The home was beautiful, with the most breathtaking views of the bay! The home was extremely clean, and owner provided everything you could need. The location was excellent…we walked to everything. We will definitely stay here when we come back to San Diego.

This condo was large and had a great layout. The biggest plus was its beautiful bay view. It was well equipped and had plenty of space to spread out. It could use a little sprucing up-paint is chipping, window is cracked, one bed is very hard. Overall, it was wonderful

We loved our stay. It is a sanctuary. Once you enter, you leave behind the world. The view is stunning and is incredible to wake to every morning and enjoy at sunset each evening. Spotless, has everything you need, very comfortable and well decorated. Plenty of space. Communication was efficient and thorough. We definitely will return as our son relocated to San Diego.

Really great place on the bay with a beautiful view. We had 3 couples so it was nice to have our own bathrooms. We would definitely stay again. Warning if you have a large vehicle, you will need to park a bit sideways in the garage.

The location and amenities that this beautiful home affords was just what we needed for a long overdue vacation.
The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed to eat in and the location was perfect for nearby dining out when we wanted to go out.
We used the paddleboards and other beach toys to fully entertain ourselves on the beaches. We walked to Belmont Park numerous times for adventures and more fun!
Booking, check in, check out, and any needs that were communicated were always responded to efficiently and with courtesy.
The view from our “perch” was perfect for both wildlife and people watching.
We would definitely love to return to this home for a future vacation!

The first thing that captured our attention: the spectacular views of Mission Bay from the main living area . And there are also views of the ocean from the Master suite.
The owner was very responsive and accommodating throughout the entire process of property search, booking and check-in.
The house was very clean and bedding and linens and towels were excellent condition and in ample supply. Beds were very comfortable. We are VRBO property owners , and I was very impressed with the thoughtful storage details in every room, especially the kitchen. Pots, pans, dishes cabinets, etc. are very organized & in fantastic shape. This is not often the case in rental properties! The living area and dining room was furnished very comfortably.
The temperature was 80-90 degrees for part of our stay and the central A/C was wonderful.
We were very comfortable and felt very much at home. We will definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you!

This is a splendid place...it was perfect for 3 couples, us and our friends. Everything was well-stocked and we had lots of kitchen supplies to use. The house had an superb view of the bay and the ocean was only a 2 minutes walk away. The owner was very accommodating and responded very quickly to our requests. We would definitely recommend this house to anybody looking for a great stay.

One of the best properties I have stayed at in Mission Bay and VBRO. Easy check in, good parking even with large SUV, location is the best, quick responses and check in with Cindy. My kids loved it! My husband worked remote easily with set up. Highly recommend!!

We rent houses every Christmas to spend with grandparents. We have stayed at this property before and loved it just as much as this stay. Great location, clean, everything you need and the managers are there with anything you need. I’m sure we will be back.

We live in San diego and LA and just wanted to get out cos of this covid19, we have confined ourselves for so long. It was a great staycation. Cathy, the manager is amazing, was available for questions and easy to reach. The house was large and was situated ideally overlooking the bay. We were able to witness a wonderful sunrise before we left. Quiet area, easy walk to the beach, stores and especially Starbucks. Priority. Would recommend to others and would come back.

Exactly what I was looking for. Quit, relaxing and beautiful view. Close to many types of food places. 2 blocks from the beach and boardwalk. Steps from the marina. Checkin & checkout was easy. Cindy the property manager communicates quickly and is very accommodating to your needs. Can’t wait to go again.

From the moment we stepped foot into the property we felt as if we were in paradise. The home was as remarkable as advertised both in location/views and cleanliness. The amenities within the home more than met our needs. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and seasonings. We appreciated the boogie boards and beach chairs for our trips to the beach. The patio overlooking the bay was the perfect spot for coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. I can’t say enough great things about our experience. We definitely hope to be back!!

We loved staying at this property! Plenty of supplies including toilet paper and paper towels. Very quiet and friendly neighbors, which we really appreciated. The coffee provided was a very nice touch.!

Perfect location between the bay and the beach. Awesome view of the bay. Easy for friends to get to. We're going back next year!

This place was great for my family of four. Everything was well-stocked with beach towels in the bedrooms and ample kitchen supplies for use. The house had an amazing view of the bay and the ocean was only a few minute walk away. The owner was very nice and very accommodating for my family. Overall, I would definitely recommend this house to those looking for a nice getaway.
