Location was great and the house was beautiful. The only complaint is many of the appliances did not work. If you’re going to rent out property, please make sure everything is indeed working or replace it. The owner did bring “substitutes” for 2 of them, but we just had to live with everything else.

Our mountain getaway was the perfect setting for our family of 9. The house is spacious and fully supplied. The owners were friendly & accommodating. We had a great time fishing in the pond; one evening we enjoyed s’mores using the fire pit. “I don’t want to go home” was heard several times from the kiddos. Pretty much sums up our stay!

This home was very well equipped. We enjoyed the big living room and kitchen combo for family time. Plenty of plates, pans, and extras. The outdoors were beautiful and all the different animals plus fishing was good.
The area was close to a lot of fun attractions and to Woodland Park for shopping.

We had three generations staying together. Loved the restaurants in Woodland than Manitou Springs. Great hiking around. Just wish we caught more fish to throw back into lake. We all had a great time

We absolutely loved our 10 day stay here! Everything was exactly as pictured, entire area was clean and well-kept. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. This is the perfect location being so close to Woodland Park with lots of other activities nearby as well.
Communication with Wendell was 10/10, very responsive, and was helpful with anything we needed, including letting us check in a few hours early. Our family truly enjoyed the whole experience and I would definitely stay here again.

If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place! There were 7 of us and there was so much room! It was some much needed family time with my son who attends the Air Force Academy. The owners are so wonderful!

I couldn't have asked for more! This property had everything for my family of 6 and my friend's family of 5. We went for ATV trails and to check out Manitou Springs. The guys loved fishing in the pond, which allowed for some good time with my friend sipping wine on the balcony. Wendell was super helpful when we needed to find an extra ATV. You will not be disappointed staying here. Great for everyone in our party from ages 9 to 40!

Beautiful home - perfect for eight adults. Neat to see wildlife in the driveway in early mornings or evenings. Key point was never running out of hot water even when numerous showers were taken. Would easily recommend this for a family or four couples.

Family Fun!
This property was perfect for four families. We all had our own space and yet could meet together on the main floor. It was a peaceful setting and room for kids to roam outside. The kitchen was well supplied and easy to use. Also, there was tons of refrigerator space! We would definitely come back again!!

Not for young children
The host and hostess were friendly and even allowed us to check in a few hours early. The grounds were pretty but not meant for children with the steep drop offs and rough terrain. There were too many Knick knacks setting around that were in the way. While the kitchen looked like a gourmet kitchen, that was deceiving. The trash compactor didn’t work, the small refrigerator didn’t work, and we were told the griddle didn’t work,. But most of all the oven was about 50% slow. I wasn’t told about the oven so therefore it totally ruined our first family traditional breakfast of 2 pans of sticky rolls. A BIG disappointment for all. The beds were fair. However, the sheets were too large and slipped around every night due to the foam mattress toppers. The location is pretty. Itis a distance to drive back and forth to the various tourist attractions.
The kids wanted to play outside. The landscaping had no grass and very steep hillside. Lower near the ponds there was goose poop everywhere.
There was a charge firewood.
Oh…need a Rokue account to use the tv. TVs were useless to us!

Woodland Park Wedding
Beautiful, quiet, clean, comfortable, fully furnished mountain home with beautiful wide open views. Ponds for fishing (catch and release only barbless hooks). Nice little green space for enjoying an open fire pit and activities. Amenities were as stated. Had a little trouble with the grill, but was only used one night, so it didn't create any issues. There were no screens on the windows, but bugs and such were no problem. Also bring a sleep mask if you are sensitive to light in your bedroom, there are no curtains due to the number of and various sizes and shapes of the house's windows. Very open and unimpeded views.

Good but would not stay again
The house was exactly as pictured. We had a toddler in our party and this property is far from child friendly but that is our mistake. The fishing was not as good as was advertised. The location to town was great and sitting on the multiple porches was amazing. Taking the trash out is a bit of a chore. You need to drive it down to a dumpster. After we left, we were called and accused of causing water damage to hard wood floors in the laundry room. We were told the floors were “buckling”. I can say with 100% certainty that there was no standing water or even a big spill there in the last 5 days we were there. We were told an insurance claim would be filed and we didn’t have to pay for anything but I’m still very upset at this accusation because I know we didn’t do that. I make sure to take care of other’s property and definitely would have called the owners if anything happened like that. The owners stay in a apartment on the property so they are very close and accessible if needed. Overall the property was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed our stay very much. I just hate it ended on this bad note.

Friends Weekend
We rented both this house and the other one on the property to have enough room for all our group. The location is close to Woodland Park yet out where you have your privacy. We did a lot of cooking for the two houses and the kitchen worked out great. It had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed this property and would recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful home
Our family and some of my sons recently graduated teenage friends stayed at this home while visiting Colorado. The kitchen was well equipped and there was even a sauna room. The balcony views were beautiful. We visited Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods while we were there.

Great place to spend time with family
The property is nice and the owners are quite thorough with the check in process. Easy access to colorado springs. Saw deer in the morning. Rooms are such that all the kids were on the bottom floor, so we had an adult stay with them. Great kitchen.

Fishing was fun
Fishing was easy and fun for the kids. It was the favorite activity. Great location. City Market grocery was a quick trip for last minute items. Accommodations were spacious. Great for families and cousins.

Fantastic experience
Property and location were perfect for everything we wanted to do in the Colorado Springs/Woodland Park area, plus the property owners were extra attentive and responsive to any questions (premier from our perspective). We stayed with another family of 4 (8 total) and the house easily accommodated us. Overall, great location, property owners, and experience in March (lots of snow while we were in town).

Perfect for a family gathering
We stayed at this wonderful property for a long weekend; we were two adults and five children aged 10-16. Amazing kitchen and outdoor spaces, plenty of room for everyone to stretch out, and fun fishing right on the property. My only complaint would be that the "hot tub" is really just a jetted tub in the (awesome!) master bedroom, and is suitable for at most two people, which was a bit of a disappointment for my hot tub-loving kids. But everything else more than made up for that, and I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to gather family together.

I brought by best friend and my daughters best friend. We were visiting my daughter that attends UCCS. Us four had an amazing time, and we left the house only twice in 5 days. The home and location is a vacation all its own. We played games, karaoke’d and spent nights out on the balcony enjoying the starry nights and the amazing view of Piles Peak. This home nestled up on a hill in the mountains is quiet, serene and a perfect place to hike. The owners are fabulous! Definitely recommend. Angie Cockings

We've stayed at this property before and were pleased to return. The location is awesome . . . close to town but very secluded and quiet. Especially enjoyed the changing Aspens this trip! We were looking for a "socially distanced" get-a-way and this was perfect.
We highly recommend!

Perfect
Property was perfect for what we needed it for. We had daytime activities planned all weekend, so it was a great spot to cook and relax at night. We went rafting an hour away on Saturday and went swimming and hiking at the reservoir on Sunday which was 4 miles away. Overall great experience.

Beautiful, relaxing get-away
Our family of 5 (kids 11, 13, 13) plus my father-in-law and sister-in-law enjoyed our vacation here during the first week of August. The owners are very nice, helpful, and responsive. The house is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. It is a short 10 minute drive to groceries and the cute town of Woodland Park but it feels secluded and is surrounded by beautiful nature. There were several deer that hung out around the house, chipmunks, birds, rabbit, a brief glimpse of a beaver, and one of my sons saw a black bear early our first morning. It was also amusing to watch a “bully” hummingbird that would hang out on a nearby tree branch and chase any other hummingbirds away when they came to the feeder. Overall, it was a perfectly wonderful and relaxing vacation and we would love to stay here again!

Fantastic little get away
This was a great house and property. The owners provided excellent customer service. Before and during our stay. The house was wonderful. A couple of minor things were in the middle of being fixed but it was no different than any house and had no impact on our stay. The property is remote and beautiful. We hiked the huge hill behind the house and the views were spectacular. The fishing pond was a lot of fun. Well stocked and made for powerbait or fly fishing. We would definitely look at coming back. Thank you.

Great location for a family get-together
This home had great space for our family to hang out together (we were a group of 11) or to have some time separately if someone needed a break. Depending on the weather, you can choose a deck in the sun or a deck in the shade. Great place to stay and a great place to start from to enjoy Pike's Peak and numerous other things to see!

Secluded Paradise and Trout Fishing Haven!
First let me say our whole family had a wonderful time at Trout Creek Ranch! We have 9 children and after all the COVID lockdown we were ready to get out and enjoy the outdoors. This was just the perfect place! We planned to spend time enjoying the 50 acre property and it did not disappoint us. We explored the property, played games etc in the amazing house, enjoyed meals on the decks with the beautiful mountain view, had a cookout around the campfire, and most of all had a ball catching trout in the ponds! I could not keep the fishing poles baited fast enough. Even the 4 year old caught trout:)
While we did go enjoy some of the parks and recreation nearby we really did not even need to. The house was very spacious and beautiful. There was a lot of wildlife to see everyday. Wendell and Liliana were excellent hosts and were a pleasure to meet and get to know. We would highly recommend anyone to stay at Trout Creek Ranch!
