Perfect property for a family vacation with comfortable beds, clean amenities, and all you need. Great outdoor space with a fenced pool area, dock, and kayaks. Wonderful location for a relaxing retreat.

Property & house were perfect for our family vacation!
6 adults + lab.
Clean, plenty of towels. Comfortable beds. A/C good.
Fenced pool area was perfect for our lab.
Dock great. Watch tides and bring boat in slowly from channel as not to tear up sea grass. Gets swallow in areas, but we had no problems.
Really everything you need. 💯😊

My husband and I enjoyed the view this home has. They had everything we needed...access to the water, kayaks, grill, pleanty of towels, coconuts (fall from the tree make for an extra treat our son had so much fun with). It was a nice retreat close enough to Key West. This place had great outdoor space, very relaxing and a fun place to be.

Great location. Beautiful views. Pool was very nice and is a perfect size for 4 adults. Boat dock worked out great for a 24’ bay boat. Bay was deep enough to putt out slowly and return on plane. They have directions for a small non-official Channel but I never figured out where it was. I took the boat straight into the bay about 1/2 mile then followed the land out to the sugar loaf marker 16. Worked great.

We just wrapped up a weeklong stay at Tropical Paradise. It was truly ideal. The house was so cute and neat as a pin. It was right on the water and the pool was warm and perfect for the kids. It’s a great location with easy access to key west and also a nice quiet retreat. We had such a nice time and plan to come back next year.

Location was wonderful and overall accommodations good. The pool and deck were great as well as the pier and concrete patio outdoors. The iguanas were fun to watch and it was nice to have the kayaks for a little adventure. It was great to have water and ice in the refrigerator! The mattress in the small bedroom needs to be replaced as it sinks in the middle. We found it hard to rinse our hair with the low pressure of the shower, but overall our stay was wonderful! It was a nice little hidden treasure.

Beautiful and clean, We had no problem with AC or bugs as previous reviews mentioned and dock was also there and in great condition, also no seaweed or smell as others mentioned. We have stayed at other places where this was an issue but I think it's just the way the ocean is and the way the wind is blowing at that time. Everything you could need is there and beds very comfortable. I think they have fixed any previous issues. Absolutely no negatives. It was relaxing, loved the kayaks, even saw a turtle. Lots of fish around dock. Quiet but only 25 minutes to key west
We will be back!

Great location, quiet street. Only a few other rentals visible, to the left, & directly behind the house. The house sits directly on the water, as pictured. The breeze that comes off the ocean is great, especially when sitting on the deck & enjoying the pool. The "beach" to the left is more of an access point to go to & from with the kayaks. I would not recommend sitting there as it is covered in seaweed & an obscene amount of bugs. The use of the two Kayaks was great. The house was super clean. I would recommend a longer hose to reach the pool, as the pool was super low with the water level and we had no way to add more water. 2 negatives, the a/c does not work well at all. We stayed here at the end of July/early August, it was very hot, and the a/c during the day would only cool to 80/81. It would only stay at the setting of 72 late at night once we were sleeping. The mgmt co had two separate a/c people come out back to back, but it didn't do anything. One co. told us they needed a new unit or to add xtra insulation. After I told the mgmt co that the a/c was still not working, they never replied back to me. We had to go to Home Depot to buy box fans & even with the fans running, it was 80/81. No one wants to be in a hot house on their vacation. We felt that the mgmt co could have purchased a portable a/c for less that $400 to help keep us cooler & future guests. The other issue, a bad infestation of ants everywhere...in the house, pool deck, all over sand & sidewalks

Easy access to property and good size house for the three of us. The layout of the house is nice, and the porch arrangements of screened and not screened are great for enjoying the outdoors. The long dock pictured is gone- that photo should be updated. Kitchen was good- decently appointed. Pans probably need replacing. The pool was good but was far smaller than pictures hint at. More of a swim spa size. We enjoyed the sitting area down in front facing the ocean. There is a “private” beach area between two docks- private is not accurate- it’s shared with the house behind this unit which is far bigger. The beach area is not maintained and was not a place to go wade, so ocean access was pretty limited. The property manager was very responsive when we reported a concern and it was addressed quickly. The middle bedroom with the smallest bed is actually the master with the en suite. The beds and pillows at the house are in desperate need of replacement. For anyone reading- make sure you check this before booking! It’s was difficult sleeping. Cudjoe Key is not commercial, so the nearest full grocery store is at Big Pine Key. But we loved the middle placement of this rental on Cudjoe- half hour from Key West and about 40 minutes to Marathon. We would book again… just as long as there’s new beds!

Located in a awesome spot. House needs updating for sure bathrooms are dated pool deck needs to be replaced
Seaweed is not controlled by anyone just left to dry out and keeps building up on beach with sea foam must have been bad timing mid June 2023

Awesome vacation home!
We stayed here for a week and had a wonderful vacation. The house was clean and had everything we needed. I appreciate this home having ample towels, specifically beach towels, as we have stayed in homes before that literally had none. I was concerned about the bedroom situation because a previous review said that two of the rooms were connected, so we were happy to arrive and learn that there are three distinctly separate rooms. If you bring your boat, it is an easy ride out to the reef for scuba diving/snorkeling. Having the pool at the house was awesome and the perfect way to end a day on the boat.
We did have a couple of “issues” that I feel are necessary to mention. The main bedroom’s mattress is in desperate need of replacement. There are massive divots on either side of the bed that made it impossible for me to sleep in, particularly as a stomach sleeper. The center of the bed is significantly higher than the sides you sleep on.
The other issue is that there is not 24/7 service in case of emergency with this home. Our kids accidentally locked our key in the house and couldn’t get ahold of anyone to help. It was 10:00 at night when we got back to the house and realized this. We ended up having to call a locksmith to let us back in the house, which cost $200. We got a response from the rental company almost 12 hours later. I am fully aware that it was our own fault, but the fact that you can’t get ahold of anyone is rather bothersome.
Aside from those issues, the house was great and the views are unmatched.

Myself and my three teenagers loved it so much we will be coming back again next year!

Beautiful
I cannot say enough good things about this place. I love what I call “old Florida” and this is perfect. The house was more than comfortable. The beds comfortable, etc... but when going to the keys you wanna know as much about the view, right? It is stunning. We spent more time relaxing in the pool and watching the water and wildlife than anything else. The screened in back porch was as inviting and relaxing as the pool and deck. We also enjoyed the kayaks.
We used the kitchen lots and had everything we needed. You must eat at Square Grouper and Murray’s Market is the best on all the keys if you’re looking for something gourmet. We had their sandwiches the day we rented a boat. Perfect location close to all we wanted to do and great spots we didn’t know about.

Direct access to water
We specifically picked this property as it had a small beach with access to the water. What we didn’t count on was that it was too cool for us to get in the water (although pool was heated and nice) we just ended up staying on the deck and not using the beach. What were we thinking - ocean in the winter???

Wonderful Vacation Home!
This property was fabulous for our family Christmas vacation! We greatyly enjoyed the peacefulness and serenity it had to offer. It was a wonderful place to enjoy the beauty of the Keys. The only reason I gave 4 stars on cleanliness is because when we arrived and the garbage cans were overflowing/ripped garbage bags out on the sidewalk. I think it was probably just the timing of everything, but it seemed like the trash hadn't been taken out for quite some time. Otherwise this rental could not have been better!! I highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet and stunning place to relax and enjoy the Keys.

Great spot to snorkel off the dock and relax on the premises. Kept a boat at the dock and went on excellent adventures every day! Thank you!

Fabulous location!
Very nice overall! Quaint, comfortable and functional if not especially modern/high-end finishings. Property manager was extremely responsive in providing things I asked for (vacuum, broom/dustpan, replacement A/C filter). Home is very well stocked with anything you could want including kayaks, lots of towels, kitchen wares, etc. Master bed slept well. Excellent WiFi. Floors recently replaced w/ tile and living room has a real sofa & chair (vs. futon shown in pics) which was much appreciated. Numerous local restaurants and walking distance to small gym. We wanted ocean front, private pool, screened porch & pet friendly place to escape; this was perfect for our needs and we would rent again. My favorite place was the porch; we spent hours there every day.

A great place to stay right on the water, well maintained property and the deck and small pool a plus.

Location, Location, Location
Location is great, views are spectacular. Sunrise is visible over landmass, Sunset is blocked by property line trees. Bay side of house (pool side) faces south, so sun all day. Small pool was excellent for our party of 2 couples. Fishing from docks was fun but water is shallow. Caught a barracuda, sea bass and tropical striped Snapper. Fun feeding spiney lobsters in jetty and the Iguana family that live in the mangroves. I would rate house as Good but better rating due to location. New owners plan on renovating entire house so I will not post the negatives of wear and tear salt air takes on a house. Our biggest disappointment was the lack of, or quality of, kitchen supplies / gadgets and low wattage bulbs in the bedrooms. I would recommend this property.

Absolutely Wonderful
Our family loved this property! The oceanview is to die for, and the dock area, hammock, spa pool and deck area are great. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the property itself, the space feels very private, as well as visit nearby beaches, and of course, Key West. We also really enjoyed shopping at the nearby fisheries. My daughters and I took daily walks on the beautiful trails just accross the highway from the house. Also, the trails are a great place for runners and bikers. Management was very easy to work with, and very responsive to our requests such as an extra tank for the gas barbeque, questions about the spa pool maintenance, etc.. We would highly recommend this property.

Covid Escape
What a great get away. As two health care workers working through the past year this was a wonderful get away with our adult children. The kitchen was nicely stocked, the house and patio/porch super comfortable. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Awesome little house with a lot of amenities
The house fit 6 people to sleep. The outdoor amenities were amazing. The only issue is we were there over the holiday and we couldn’t get the trash out.
Overall we would book this house again.

Paradise
The house was perfect for our family of four. Fully equipped kitchen, lovely private beach area. Bikes, kayaks, and private pool. The entire property is a resort in itself. Key west is about 15-20 min drive and marathon about 45 minutes. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

THE HOME YOU NEVER WANT TO LEAVE
A home ON THE ATLANTIC OCEAN, with a small private pool on a beautiful deck and SPECTACULAR VIEW. The view continues into a wonderful screened in lanai and then into the kitchen, living area, and master bedroom. Comfortable lounging in all of these areas. Did I mention 2 and 1/2 modern bathrooms and new washer and dryer. OK, down stairs ... parking for cars, and trailers, a nice concrete sidewalk leads to a very secure floating dock with nice strong cleats on either side and deep water. The ONLY thing that disappoints me is that I can’t afford to live here, BUT, we lived the dream for a week, and were allowed to go home with the memories.

Fair but accurate review
I booked this property in full back In January of 2020. In February my dad and I were hit with cancer and I called Amy right away. In March COVID came and I called about options. The only options were-we could book ahead any date for 2020 or only get a 70% refund..... no refunds even through VRBO was telling owners they should refund and the owner wouldn’t refund-and you couldn’t even get to the place since it was closed! I kept in touch with the property manager, Amy constantly.
We were finally told we could come the last week of May. When we got there-the place had a few issues. I felt bad, nothing against Amy, but I also felt the place should have been ready since no one had been in it since middle of March and we were there June 6. The beach was covered in sea grass-we never even got to use it. The owner showed up on the Saturday morning while we were packing to leave to clean the seaweed for next people. A lamp was out, a back burner was out on the stove, the grill didn’t work, the neighbors constantly came over and used our things because the owner owned the back place as well. There were a few other things, but we handled it.
I will say, Amy was amazing! When the grill went out-she sent over someone right away to bring us another one. She was attentive and responded quickly.
The place was nice. We did like everything was labeled and the welcome book was informative. We did not know the property was for sale-which the people behind us made us aware of-and they toured the property before we got there and got a gift card to the Square Grouper. We did see a framed letter inside with a listing after they told us. We just didn’t know someone behind us had seen it and the incentive.
I was extremely disappointed the owner was not more lax on the COVID restrains and more understanding. There was nothing anyone could do about restrictions on COVID and the lack of understanding, compassion, or flexibility was terrible.
The main master, with the pool and ocean side is attached to a daybed. The only way to divide it is with a curtin-so if you are wanting privacy, the only room with a door is the one off the hallway. The furniture for the main area-is a futon and a wicker 2 seater bench.
The property is 45 minutes away from Key West. Highly recommend grocery shopping in Key West at Publix, the best pizza is Slice of Paradise! The Cuban and Shrimp Scampi pizza!
For fishing bait-go to Cudjoe Sales, and charters Compass Rose!

What a Place!
We so enjoyed our stay at “Tropical Paradise”. It really is paradise. On the ocean, with docks, beach, dipping pool, expansive deck, screen porch, kayaks, bicycles, marvelous breezes and great location on Kudjoe Key.
This property is meticulously maintained and is even better in person than the photos can capture. Everything is clean, bright, well appointed and in working order. (Not so common in beach house rentals.)
Kudjoe Key location is perfect. Several excellent restaurants (Square Grouper, Milagro, Geiger Key Marina, e.g.) within a few minutes and close to Key West and Bahia Honda State Park.
Tropical Paradise, indeed.
