Inquire about parking PRIOR to booking please. There is very little need to bring a vehicle, as there is great metro and bikeshare access, and rideshares are inexpensive and readily available. Most places you want to go to in DC won't have parking when you get there. 24/7 street parking near this property is possible with a street parking pass, which can be obtained from the DC DMV with a copy of a lease and vehicle information. It costs around $250 for a six month pass. Free street parking with no pass needed is free and open to all every night, all weekend, and two hours each weekday. We have about five offstreet parking spaces in the immediate area. We rent them from neighbors. IF a paid space is available they usually go for $300 a month. Union Station parking garage is five blocks away and can do monthly rentals including oversize vehicles for around $300 a month.

A word about rates:
Since every booking is different the rates listed are an approximation. Rates are based on length of stay, specific dates needed, amenities requested, etc. Bookings less than 91 days are subject to the DC lodging tax of 15.95%. SINCE EVERY INQUIRY IS DIFFERENT AND THE BIGGEST FACTOR IN PRICE IS THE SPECIFIC DATES CHOSEN AND LENGTH OF STAY RATES MAY BE HIGHER OR LOWER THAN WHAT IS POSTED. PLEASE INQUIRE SO WE CAN DISCUSS PRIOR TO SENDING A BOOKING REQUEST.
Fall months are very high demand, moreso this year than ever before as this is the first year that many federal agencies and private employers are bringing people back to DC, and they are making up for lost productivity during Covid. Most furnished housing providers in DC will only take bookings for three months or longer during these months. We will do less, but the rates do go up. And generally we try to match an incoming booking with an apartment that is available within a week or so of the requested date. For instance if you are seeking a month rental beginning July 1 we would want to match your request with a property available in very late June or July 1. If the property you inquired about seems to have an availability date that may not match up then you can always check HERE see all properties and their available dates.
Our average booking is around four to six months. We are primarily a longer term lodging provider. We can do shorter, but in the furnished housing business rates go up for shorter stays.
Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any questions.
We are available to answer questions and we provide a detailed Welcome Letter.

Fabulous property in ideal location!
We had a fabulous stay in the John Marshall House unit - property had everything you could hope for and location was the best. Property manager was very helpful and provided useful recommendations. Check in and out was a breeze. Hope to stay here again! Highly recommended!!

Excellent!
This apartment was clean and conveniently located in walking distance to the Capitol. It was quiet and I found everything I needed during this stay. I ordered groceries from PeaPod and would highly recommend. Thank you!

Location was great with a nice view of the Library of Congress and the Supreme Court, both directly across the street. The only negative would be that we encountered a rude neighbor that had a vicious dog, and each time we encountered them in the hall, the dog would go nuts trying to attack us, barking, growling, and showing it's teeth. Thank god she had it on a leash. It really freaked out my 11yr old son when she not so nicely told him to get back because the dog isn't friendly and may bite. Other than that, it was a great stay, we loved the place and it was in a nice neighborhood.

great spot. Easy to walk to anywhere on the Mall and twenty minutes to Union Station. You can have groceries delivered and cabs drive by in front of the apartment a lot (except Sunday) and are easy to hail. My wife and I stayed here and will come back given the chance.

Great location.
This rental has the perfect location for seeing the sights in DC. We were able to easily and quickly walk to any of the sights, tour buses, and to eat. The apt had everything we needed and plenty of space for my 14 yr old son, and my husband and I. Older building with character which I loved. If I ever make it back to DC again I would definitely stay in the property the next time as well. Owner was very helpful with everything as well.

Incredible location
Studio was very nicely updated. Very comfortable for myself and 2 children. We loved being able to walk for meals and sightseeing.
