Lovely, historical remodeled home in a perfect location to town. Well appointed so you don’t need to bring a thing from your home to this home. Dog friendly property with a huge back yard. The weather was such a blessing from our home in Tucson. Hope to return next summer.

warm and cozy residence with great location near downtown. back yard extremely peaceful setting with an exceptional woodsy and private feeling....perfect for reading outdoors with a cup of coffee.
my little dog loved sitting outdoors with me in the forest like setting, and going for nearby walks at the courthouse area
i do not cook, so the many nearby eateries were a big plus

We stayed several nights to escape the Phoenix heat with our small dog. The yard is perfect for dogs and the neighborhood is lovely. Wonderful to be able to walk into town or just hang out and enjoy the space.

This small house is convenient to the square in Prescott. The beds are not very comfortable and the rooms are small. A very nice back yard well suitable for dogs. Fine for anyone who doesn't plan to spend much time in the house.

This home was adorable in the photos and just as adorable in person. It was historical (even w it’s posted plaque up front), quaint, huge backyard for dogs, and a very short walking distance to downtown/ whiskey row. Even the north neighbors were super friendly which says a lot cuz I could only imagine the stress they may feel never knowing what kind of people will be staying next door to them.
The owner is super friendly as she shared her number with me and even allowed us to go up a couple hours earlier than the check in time. Much appreciated.
The home came with everything we needed and so much more w all of the kitchen utensils and appliances you’d need for an extended comfortable stay. The owner also had printed & laminated instructions which were very clear. It does make mention to spotlessly clean of any dog fur. Taking into consideration that I could only imagine what previous pets had caused to the furniture, floors, and what not, I guess I have to understand that request.
My only complaint is some of the cleanliness. In the shower there was a nice chunk of shaved hair collected against a shower wall and plenty of debris and cob webs on all of the exterior home walls and furniture. I guess I’m just being nit picky bc of course I’d want to sit outside in Prescott’s amazing weather but it requires much cleaning!
Overall a 5 ⭐️ stay. I truly enjoyed this home. ☺️

Four of us stayed for 3 nights in the winter time a few days after snow. It was so beautiful and quiet, very cozy with great heat and hot water and upscale appliances. We were able to walk all over downtown, including Museums, restaurants, the town square, shopping, etc. The decor inside is great, and I can see in the warmer months the back yard would be a great place to hang out.

Absolutely loved this place, the back yard was the perfect place to enjoy the cool Prescott evenings with a glass of wine and the neighborhood reminded me of the east coast where I grew up.
The cottage was walking distance to Courthouse Square, shops and restaurants which is a big plus.
Inside was very comfortable and kitchen well stocked, not that I cook while on vacation or any other time for that matter😄.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. We will definitely be back.

Prescott Vacation
The home was very charming and comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace as it was cold in Prescott. Communication with the host was great. The town was awesome. Lots of art to see and good restaurants. Live music at the Back Alley Wine Bar was amazing. Very beautiful scenery to see as we hiked around Lynx Lake and Watson Lake. We will definitely return and hope to get this same Vrbo.

Loved this Prescott Home Away from Home!
This house is adorable and the yard was great for our dogs to roam without worry of them escaping. We stayed over the New Year holiday and got to enjoy the snow and peacefulness. While the home is within walking distance of downtown, the secluded yard makes you feel like you are almost in the woods. It is definitely the best of both worlds. I would definitely stay here next time I need escape from the Phoenix heat!

Too much traffic noise
This little house was quaint and clean but the heavy traffic noise was not comfortable for us. The house is a cute, historic dwelling close to town but sits on a very busy street that was a major hub for the town. The back yard was good size and fenced in which was great for our two little dogs. We were disappointed in a non working fireplace that was advertised as a amenity which we wanted. We feel that this should have not been listed or should have been disclosed before booking. The kitchen was good size and recently remodeled but we did not use it as we ate in town at some great restaurants. If you like Thai, we recommend the Tara Thai. We tend to like quiet places and especially at night for sleeping, unfortunately this property did not offer that. If traffic noise is not a problem for you, this is a nice, comfortable property.

Renter
We stayed just over night. We were there for a wedding. Didn’t have much time to really enjoy the town of Prescott or any restaurants, as the wedding was in Skull Valley. Beds were super comfortable as were the pillows. This really mattered to me. I always bring my own pillows and I left mine at home. I was so happy as I got a really good nights sleep. Beautiful backyard, to sit out back and enjoy a cup of coffee. Not a fan of the showers, though. The shower heads don’t allow a lot of water to spray out, and it took quite some time for the tub/showers to drain. Overall, a nice place.

Fall Get Away
This was our first trip to Prescott--and hopefully not our last. This house is in an ideal location in the Historic district. The house is located off of Park Ave which is busy street during the day...so beware of cars on your tail end as you are looking for the house on your arrival! The driveway is on the narrow side, so if you have a large SUV, be mindful of the brick walls on each side of the driveway on your approach. Staying in a historic house, one has to expect a few quirks here and there. We didn't expect a constant chirping noise--emanating from an inaccessible place in the house. I notified the owner, Arlene about this. Unfortunately for us, this process took one day of discovery and another day to fix the problem. Two nights of chirping was a tad unsettling---This shouldn't be an issue on your stay--You're welcome! The main fan and fan light in the living room was nonfunctional. There is no other overhead lighting in this room. There are lamps around the room that are adequate, but reading at night in this room is a challenge without this light. Also, if you a visiting during a cold month and expecting a working fireplace, you're outta luck here too as the gas fireplace with the fake logs don't fire up. According a note left on the fireplace switch, this has been non operational since 06/2021. On the bright side, there is working fire pit outside in the huge back yard, so bundle up and enjoy. The bathroom and literal water closet off the kitchen are fine with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The kitchen is large and well equipped. The bedrooms are comfy, but after a full day of hiking in beautiful Prescott, I can sleep anywhere. The backyard is perfect for a dog of any size. Overall, I would recommend this house to anyone, however I would recommend the owners/property managers do a walk through prior to a renters arrival so that things can be fixed or the status of disrepair communicated to the renters upon their arrival.

Whiskey Row Marathon 2021
This house is darling, clean and in an ideal location for walking to downtown and exploring the historic neighborhood. My friend and I stayed three nights and enjoyed every minute including the main attraction - running in the Whiskey Row half and 10k. Arlene was a pleasure to communicate with - truly a five star experience at a five star destination.
