First time visiting Grand Junction and this was the perfect place to stay, close enough to downtown to walk and far enough away for peace and quiet. Loved the charm of the original features of the house as well. Have to mention the master bed was very comfortable and we slept so well after long days hiking.

This home is very nice. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood which made our stay so relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the morning. There is nothing lacking in this home.

We had a great time! The house was perfect for us (my wife and I and our two kids; age 9 & 13) and in a great location! We took the train so we were on foot and could walk to lots of fun restaurants, shops, museums, and the botanic gardens. We will definitely stay here again!

Myself, my wife and her parents stayed at this property while we were on our way to Wyoming. It was a nice drive from Vail and enabled us to go to the Moab Utah area. The house was a wonderful place to stay. The living area gave us plenty of room and the furnishings were very nice. We preferred this arrangement over hotels very much.

We really enjoyed our quick overnight at this Victorian in the heart of downtown. It was clean and well furnished. We were able to walk to the downtown restaurants and coffee shops, which was nice after a long day in the car. The owners were very nice and easy to communicate with regarding checkin. Thanks.

There is nothing that can be improved about this place, it is wonderful!! Everything is clean and comfortable. The front porch is such a nice place to sit. The neighborhood is quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

My husband and I and our dog spent three great nights at Gray Gables. This older home is lovingly maintained and prettily decorated. The AC worked well. Beds were super comfortable. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Very clean home and yard. Our dog was happy to have so much space inside and out. We enjoyed walking to dinners and ice cream on Main Street. Saw so much in the area in 3 days: Arches in Moab, National Monument Park, Black Canyon in Gunnison Park, Grand Mesa lakes, winetasting in Palisade...all super convenient to get to. We'd recommend this area and this home to anyone!

This was our first time staying in Grand Junction. We feel in love with the city and the surrounding areas. Gray Gables was comfortable, clean, bright, and in a great neighborhood. We cannot wait to return!

The house was clean and the bed and pillows comfortable. The AC made a loud noise when on so made it difficult to sleep. They need to update the drapes and dish towels in the kitchen as some had holes. The location was walking distance to downtown Main Street. It was a nice stay but needs some updating.

Quick visit but I thought this was a perfect location. House was clean and comfortable, process was easy and arrival information was spot on. Close to Main Street for shopping and dining!

We stayed during Country Jam. Perfect for 3 adults. It was a reasonable drive and a perfect place to rest up each night. We loved the front porch and back patio area.

The property could have been cleaner. We could not use the patio chairs because they were rusted. It would be great if they put a coat of paint on them and they would be easier to clean and sit on. Small maintenance problems: The washer knob was broke and the owner had to come and show us how to use. The kitchen sink control handle was sloppy & should be fixed. The living room floor rug needs to be cleaned.

Loved the property. Great for myself/spouse and dogs. Fenced yard a bonus for the dogs. Everything as advertised. Close to downtown and CMU. Contact with host was quick and easy. Really liked the door lock combo and not having to keep track of a key.

Wonderful older house with all the amenities. Great for dogs and our two GSDs loved the fenced yard. The house is in quiet section of downtown and only 4 blocks to Main Street where there are great restaurants. We will be back to this house in the future.

I arranged this stay for some coworkers of mine who were in town for a conference. I wasn't able to attend but I heard the house was wonderful. (my coworkers are male so I didn't get much more out of them than that, just that they were happy with it)

We've stayed with Tara and George twice now. This is a great house that is well maintained, comfortably furnished and full of character. The internet is well suited for conference calls for anyone who needs a work day mixed in. The owners are local and a great resource for needs as diverse as "What winery should we visit?" to "Where can our 2 year old run out some energy?" This location was our home base for fun in Grand Junction as well as day trips to Aspen, Ouray, Grand Mesa, Palisades, Silverton and Black Canyon of the Gunnison. I'm sure we will be back again.
