Everything was great. Description was accurate and host was friendly. No complaints!

On our visit we found spaciousness, convenience, locality, and peacefulness both in our rental and around. It was a nice rental as an easy home base to set out of, and a welcome respite to return to. We would rent the unit again, and do hope to be back. Very nice trip and place of stay. Thank you!

Ross is a wonderful property manager and this place is lovely.

The unit was just as described. It was well maintained and the host was very accommodating. Plenty of room for my family of five.
Train station was within walking distance and we made it to downtown Chicago in under an hour.
We had trouble finding many family restaurants close by. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.

Condominium was clean and well stocked with linens and kitchen cookware. We were in Chicago to do some sightseeing and visit our son. Along with being clean and beautifully decorated, the condominium had a garage and parking spot. The Hyundai Tuscan that my sister in law rented at the airport fit fine (small SUVs). Ross, the unit manager, was there to meet us when we arrived. He showed us the apartment and made us feel comfortable. The house is very secure. There are locked gates and the main door into the condominiums is secured at all times. The entrance to the condo is by key and parking spot is in a secured garage with garage door opener that Ross will go over.
The condominium is not far from public transportation. We took Union Pacific North (UPN) about a mile away from the condo and we were at the Ogilvie Transportation Center in under 25 minutes. We loved this place and would stay again!

We loved this rental in Chicago! It was spacious and in a safe neighborhood. It allowed us to relax at the end of each day and wasn't too far from all the places we wanted to visit. Out host, Ross, was extremely gracious and very helpful when we arrived. I can't say enough good things about this property!

Beautiful building. Very functional and easy to find. Like much of Chicago, parking can be very challenging for anything bigger than a small suv, even in neighborhoods. We mostly used public transit to get around. It wasn’t bad, with about a 15 minute walk to the nearest L train station. It was our first time in Chicago and it was fabulous.

Roomy, comfortable and charming. Nice neighborhood- easy to get Uber or Lyft to anywhere. Host was very helpful and responsive.

Distances to lake, restaurants much further then anticipated. Large car would not fit in garage so parking was a problem.

We enjoyed this spacious property; be aware there are quite a few steep steps and there are old school keys, no code offered. Kitchen well stocked (small crockpot) very nice iron and board, lots of towels, comfortable beds with decent pillows. Property mgr offered a lock box after we misplaced a set (why not from the start?) and charged us to replace the keys. I am disappointed in myself for not catching the 4 pm arrival and 10 am checkout. I requested early check in and was told bluntly it was not possible so we planned accordingly, to be called 2 hrs early that is was ready. Too late to take advantage off. Dishes had to be cleaned and put away before checkout. Lots of reminders to exist quietly; do’s and do not’s such as “don’t touch these buttons on the thermostat or it will take me 3 hours to fix what you mess up” ; reminders to leave a 5 star review . The mgr emailed and called me persistently the day before arrival; I stated I had a busy day as my daughter was getting married and his response was “it’s been the same here” . Really? I believe his intentions were all in for the property but what it gave us was overbearing supervision for a group of 50+ adults.

Beautiful and spacious unit with everything you could ask for. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of space to spread out and be comfortable. Great hospitality and Ross met us for checkin even though our flight had been delayed. Wonderful location and within walking distance of restaurants, shops and the CTA station (Howard). Would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely time in Chicago, and Ross was very easy to communicate with.

The place was ideal for our group of 6. Plenty of space, great location, close to everything we wanted to do and/or easily accessible to picking up the L to travel into downtown.
The only suggestion I would make is to have a couple of items "in stock". We cooked a lot at the place, we were surprised a couple of things like salt and pepper were not stocked. Some cooking staples would have been good to have on hand.

Very convenient and comfortable property. Having the garage to park in was great, but it was a tight fit for our mini-van we rented! Communication and hospitality was all top-notch!

This was a great place to stay! Very clean and comfortable.

Pros: place was very clean, good recommendations in The Binder, comfortable beds and couch. We also appreciated having washcloths (many bnb’s don’t) and gentle-close drawers! Keys made it easy to enter and exit the building.
Something to note was that hot water ran out before we were able to fill the tub for a bath which would've been nice after our very physical activities all day! Another suggestion is softer bath towels.

This was my very first VRBO experience and it couldn’t have been better! My future daughter-in-law was wedding dress shopping with 3 of her bridesmaids. The property was just lovely! It was larger than we anticipated, and in a quiet neighborhood. Much better than being in separate hotel rooms! Having a garage was a plus! Everyone in our group loved our stay! Thank you. (And we enjoyed meeting Georgia-the dog!)

I stayed with a group of friends, Chicago being a central location for us. The large couch and full dining room table was great for spending a snowy afternoon by the fireplace and cooking meals. The property manager was kind and helpful. I highly recommend this space.

We stayed on this property over the Thanksgiving holiday and we were able to enjoy as a nice family dinner. We loved everything about the property.

Clean, spacious (they don't make em that big anymore), well stocked and impeccably furnished unit in the very safe Rogers Park Neighborhood of Chicago. Surrounded by mature maple trees and close to shops and the Red line. I was particularly impressed by the clean, wide sidewalks on both sides of the streets and the fact that the unit had a LAN line available for our use (our cell phone voice capability went on the Fritz for some strange reason on our arrival so this really mattered). Ross, who lives in the unit below, gave us a really great grand tour when we checked in.This unit has Oak hardwood floors supported by wooden beams throughout so there is a slight chance that you may hear the folks above you walking around.

From the time we arrive to check out i was smooth and easy going. Ross was amazing and was there if we had any issues, which we didn't have any, but he was always available. The place is huge with tons of room, open kitchen for cooking. Definitely love this place and will be back soon. Thank you Ross for making sure we felt like we where home. ❤️❤️

Great trip to the Windy City. The house is almost a 100 years old so you definitely hear the people on the floor above you walking around. Was told Rogers Park was a safe place to stay. So that was my main reason choosing this place and the fact it had a parking spot. Very small parking spot but still a place to park. The house had lots of character and would stay again.

Beautiful, well appointed and decorated. Large, would be good for a family. Better to have a car in this location. Garage is helpful.

Great place. The sinks in the master bathroom did not drain well at all. The bed was also extremely hard. Very clean and plenty of supplies.

This apartment is exactly as pictured in the listing. Everything is in good condition, all the appliances work and it is well stocked with the necessary amenities. Street parking is next to impossible so it’s good that a garage space is provided. The beds and furniture are comfortable and the space is inviting. I would stay here again.

The apartment was really spacious. It was very clean and the check in and out process was smooth. The property manager Ross was easy to deal with. The location is only a 10-15 minute walk from the red line which came in handy when wanting to go into the city. Over all this was a really good VRBO experience

Great place, just a little far from the touristy things in downtown, mostly because of traffic. Very attentive on-site property manager. Very comfortable stay for two couples and one
single adult.

The condo was beautiful. Spacious, nicely decorated, had everything and more of the things you would need. The location was near everything that was important to us. Josh, the manager, was great. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a place to stay in Chicago.

A beautifully decorated and spacious space, this worked well for our needs. Had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay for my elderly parents (once they got up the stairs) and us. It was very nice having larger gathering spaces. Having garage parking was key, since street parking is very tight in the neighborhood (and worse on street cleaning days). My older minivan (200"L x 78"W) barely fit in the space so any larger vehicles would be out of luck. The kitchen had all the basic supplies but if you wanted to host any elaborate meals, you probably would have to augment with your own things (has a slow cooker and blender, plus a few pots/pans). It is not the most kid-friendly space with the decor, but mainly because it is in an old (but renovated) building with very creaky floors -- we could hear every footstep of the folks above us. It worked for my tween since there were plenty of spots to crash with an electronic device. We were able to walk to the el (without grandparents), but the distance was a little long on the 90 degree heat/humidity plus wildfire smoke days. Ross was a lovely host/manager -- showing us around the apartment and available for questions. We had great conversations with him.

A lovely traditional Chicago style unit. Very comfortable. Well maintained. Excellent location. Highly recommended.

We had 6 adults in the 3 bedrooms and had a nice gathering for our daughter's college friends and family in the very large living room/dining area. Deliveries from a restaurant and the local Jewel supermarket were convenient. The apartment has everything you need with well stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, washer/dryer. Owners were hospitable. 10-15 minute drive to Northwestern. The area is very residential, stores about a 10-15 minute walk. Downtown Chicago about a 20-30 minute drive, the Howard el station is a 10 minute walk.

This place was great. Clean and in a safe neighborhood. It was definitely nice to have a place to park a car in garage behind the unit. Unfortunately my brother and sister both arrived in separate cars and finding parking on the streets nearby after dark is a real challenge.
We also went to see a lot of sites in Chicago (museums, etc). Need to have patience with the Chicago traffic!
We enjoyed this unit however and were always glad to get home. It was very convenient to be able to make breakfasts in the morning. There was a local grocery store nearby.
I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Excellent, family-friendly property that is well maintained and managed. In a nice, quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to local places to eat or have a drink. About 25 mins away from downtown without traffic.
However, street parking is a challenge and we had a minivan (Toyota Sienna) that wouldn't fit in the property garage.
The VRBO we rented was on the 3rd floor and there's no elevator, which wasn't a problem for our group. However, it's worth noting for folks with mobility issues.
Cleaning and checkout instructions were clear and easy to follow. Only quirk I can think of is that the checkout procedure requires to clean the dishes/utensils AND place them back in the cabinets/drawers. So, you can't check out by simply placing all the dishes in the dishwasher and then leaving the premises; have to wait till dishwasher is done to put the dishes back. Would recommend property manager to reconsider this requirement because waiting for the dishwasher cycle to be completed is not feasible for everyone especially if they're from out of town and have a flight to catch.
Overall we had a great experience at this property and definitely stay again when we're back in Chicago.
