This peaceful, cozy cottage was the perfect place for me to get some much needed downtime from the busyness of everyday life. The cottage was clean and comfortable and equipped with everything I needed beyond the food and clothes that I brought with me.

We spent two weeks in this marvelous Garden Cottage oasis on the owners' property tucked in forested Laurel Park, but minutes from all Hendersonville and Asheville have to offer. The Garden Cottage provided a perfect spot to rest and recharge after the hectic cross-country drive. From here, one can explore the mountains of western North Carolina and northern South Carolina. Don't forget to take advantage of the helpful books on the region the owners have made available and go discover waterfalls and hikes describe therein. They also have a great booklet of tips on restaurants and places to go. Or, just laze on the Carolina porch with the windows open, particularly in the evening when the frogs and crickets are singing. In the morning, sit there and sip your morning coffee while the birds serenade you. There is a lovely bench The floor plan is quirky, but in a fun way. The tiny kitchen is remarkably functional, particularly since it is well outfitted. We stayed there because we were in the middle of a cross-country move before we could move into our new house. The Garden Cottage provided a perfect spot to rest and recharge after the hectic cross-country drive. The owners could not have been more accommodating and welcoming, a common Southern trait. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

We rented the Garden Cottage for a week in early October. The property was just as advertised. The cottage could not have been cleaner and was well appointed with everything we needed for a week's stay. The hosts could not have nicer or more accommodating in answering questions and providing information. We also had tour of the Woodland's cottage which was just as clean and nice as the Garden Cottage we stayed in.

We stayed 2 nights in this lovely cabin near downtown Hendersonville. It’s old fashion wood construction with totally renovated interior. Clean and cozy, all appliances and bathroom fixtures new. We lacked for nothing but more time to stay and enjoy the cottage and view of the garden. Would definitely love to stay again. Our favorite spot in Hendersonville!

This is without question the best holiday rental property we have ever stayed in. We couldn’t have been more comfortable. Robert and Georgina have really gone out of their way to provide everything that one could possibly need. Within 15 minutes of arrival, we were already planning when we could come back again.

After spending 3 very rainy days/nights in Pisgah Forest, we found this adorable cottage and it was everything we needed to make an anniversary trip even more special. It was truly a home away from home and had everything we could ask for, especially the washer and dryer to clean all of our damp dirty clothes and towels. This was probably one of the coziest, comfortable spots we have ever rented and we look forward to returning for a full week's stay. The gardening and walk ways are amazing, along with the screened in porch, all fantastic places to enjoy a morning cup of coffee and listen to the birds sing. Thank you for an awesome place!

Thanks again, Kevin Denkins and family

Cozy Mountain Cottage
This cottage was perfect for our stay in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Every need was anticipated and every effort made to make our stay comfortable and convenient. A perfect location for nearby hiking, shopping, or enjoying the arts. Also wonderful for spending the day on the enclosed porch or in the beautiful English gardens.

The property was unique and special. Clearly, it has been loved and well taken care of over the years. The attention to detail in the garden is spectacular. It's age only brings out it's coziness. The bed is very comfortable and the quilt is a bonus!
Kitchenette is tight when making meals but fine for snacking and re-heats!

The Best
We were there to see some property in the area. Our stay included 15 plus inches of snow. Our hosts allowed us to come in the night before our scheduled stay due to weather concerns. We arrived to a warm and cozy cabin with a fire going. They were informative and very friendly. We would highly recommend a stay in a charming neighborhood. Thank you Georgiana and Bob.

Perfect Size for Us
This was our third stay in Garden Cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is the perfect size with just enough rustic and just enough modern. We especially liked the addition of the extra tv on the sunporch.

A beautiful stay
I travel quite a bit and it's the rare property that lives up to it's listing. This is one of those! This cabin was a great value with an ideal location...peaceful and quiet on the mountain but just 5 minutes from charming Hendersonville. The bed and linens were lovely, the kitchen functional, and the fireplace just perfect for fall. Plus, the hosts were friendly and available. Five stars!

Mountain Bliss
We were looking for the perfect “Mama and Kids Trip” and goodness, we found it! It was a short drive to Pisgah Forest were we hiked, slid and swam our way into amazing memories. This beautiful cottage had everything we needed to come home to after a day of fun. The cottage is close to everything but still feels very quiet and peaceful. The suggestions given to us from the property owners were most helpful. We especially enjoyed our breakfast at HenDough!
We felt very safe and welcomed from the moment that we pulled into the driveway of the cottage. The grounds around the cabin are beautiful- blooming flowers and quiet little sitting areas. My kids enjoyed the zip line and the swing too! Our hearts left feeling full and inspired. Thank you for a magical stay- we will return!

Peaceful Getaway
The Garden Cottage was a perfect getaway for us. The owners were very accommodating and welcoming. They put together a little travel guide of places to visit and restaurants to try. We used a lot of their suggestions and we were not disappointed. The cottage is in a perfect location. It is close to everything, and easy to go back to for an afternoon nap or freshing up for dinner. We will definitely be back to this peaceful Garden Cottage.

Great stay!
We really enjoyed our stay! Such a great property with lots of charm. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The weather didn't cooperate as we'd hoped, but they offered some helpful suggestions for alternative plans and even allowed us to borrow their toy train set for my son to play with. We particularly liked the fireplace and the porch :)
