We stayed here with another couple for 4 nights over Labor Day Weekend. The house was well equipped and very comfortable. Beds were nice, kitchen was well stocked, and the outdoor space was lovely. The location is also very convenient - just a block away from a grocery store and a few blocks from the Main Street with shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Soooooo enjoyed this sweet retreat so close to Mount Shasta town & area natural wonders!

Lisa, the hostess, was absolutely wonderful to work with!
The property is located in an ideal location if you are wanting to walk to dinner, shopping, and coffee! We stayed here with our three small kids and packed our scooters to move around downtown. I enjoyed my morning coffee and book on the adorable front porch each morning.
The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked! The beds, especially the room with one bed was so unbelievably comfortable!
To end our trip, my husband lost his wallet, we messaged Lisa and her cleaning crew found it and, through VRBO, called us to schedule a pick up. She was very prompt and quick to respond to any message I sent from the moment we booked.
Location was amazing!!

The house was perfect for us. It was hot out, and the a/c worked wonders. Walking distance in both directions to stores and restaurants and a zen-like backyard made for a fantastic stay.

If you don’t mind a little criticism.
It’s like coming to Grandma’s house…cozy with way too much furniture. Too dark inside. Beds were comfortable.
Yard was perfect for dog. Great restaurant across the street. Parade was fun to watch and liked the access to downtown. Pedestrians walking by were interesting and some less than desirable.

The house was clean and cozy, and stocked with essentials (dish soap, hand soap, tp, etc). The location was perfectly located for days of hiking, and within walking distance to a local natural foods store and downtown mount shasta. We slept great too. This was a very easy place to stay.

Very cute and comfy house. We did not cook a meal at the house except for making coffee and toast. Centrally located and short walks or drives to nearby restaurants and shopping. Near great views of Mount Shasta.

We really enjoyed our stay here. My husband and I brought our dogs and snowmobile. He went snowboarding during the days while I worked at the house and hung with the dogs. There was ample parking for our truck.
Everything was clean and comfortable. I appreciated the extra blankets and the wood stove. The kitchen was nicely stocked to allow us to easily cook whatever we felt like.
The house was a couple doors down from a thrift store, a natural food store, and downtown.
The only issues we had were very specific to us and had nothing to do with the property. Our dog can't handle some floors, and he was not into the wood floors. We had our dogs' bed strewn over the house and moved the bathroom and kitchen mats around to give him a path. Just mentioning in case other people have dogs with that issue. Bring a yoga mat for the kitchen. Other than that, there is a nice rug in the living room and the bedrooms are carpeted. My husband would have liked more places to hang his snow gear around the wood stove to dry.
Thanks for sharing this great house with us!

We had a great time here. Right in the middle of Mt. Shasta and close to restaurants and neighborhoods. The house is well appointed including cooking utensils which are usually lacking. Our host was very attentive and solved a few minor issues that came up. Recommended!

We loved the property. Very clean and cozy. Although it's on a main street it's away from the heart of downtown. It was hot when we were there so it was nice to have A/C when we needed it. We discovered that turning on the ceiling fans at night blocked out traffic noise for light sleepers.
Good location-easy walk to downtown and quick drive to beautiful Lake Siskiyou.
Lisa is a great host. Would highly recommend staying at the property.

Everything about this place is perfect. The only issue is it’s on the busy Blvd which we already knew . We still love to stay here and will again. Just wish it were on a quiet street.

Well furnished, clean and spacious given the size of the house. We loved the open floor plan. Large dining room table and plenty of seating in the adjoining living room. Beds were very comfortable with lots of extra blankets. Appliances were clean and in good working order. The back yard very cute and secure with fencing and gate. Location being on the main street was convenient for grocery stores, restaurants and shopping. Description and pictures on VRBO site very accurate. I would definitely stay here again.
