Property was as advertised, owner very responsive

This property was so old, run down, and falling apart. The property manager (not the VRBO guy) was terrible to everyone in our party. He bullied the kids in the pool and around the common areas. Tried to blame broken things on us and make us pay for them. He also yelled at everyone because they splashed water in the pool area and he didn't want to get his phone wet WHILE HE WAS IN THE POOL ON HIS PHONE. There is NO air conditioning! This might make it fine for winter season but it was so hot! Nobody could sleep upstairs because they would melt so that was 2 twin beds fewer than the listing. They were accurate to say this was on the top floor!!! This is not like a hotel or another accommodation where you could go to the lobby and ride the elevator to the top and then reach your room via hallways. This meant you park in the basement underground parking and hike up a dilapidated stairwell until you reach your room. Giant hair balls in the pool and on floors. The VRBO contact guy was good but the property and the resident manager did not meet expectations.

Fun had by all nice the pool was open with the weather we had

This property is older, and it shows. However, it was warm, clean, available, and the price was good. The layout is unusual, but that made it a little more fun. The listing is accurate. It was everything that we expected.

Property is older, but inside is clean and well kept. The layout works well for 3 families. (Throw in a fan as the loft gets hot, ceiling fan wouldn’t work for us, but hopefully it will for you). Scott was very prompt with communication, always professional and appreciative. Pool and spa were a hit with the kids, pool was heated to a comfortable temp and easy to access.

The owner has made great use of this well designed condo. It accommodated our group of 12 easily. I would definitely stay here again.

This was perfect for us, very centrally located, lots of beds for a big group- and the kids loved the unique bunks! There’s tons of tvs so everyone can watch what they want. The unit is older but was clean, well stocked and comfortable. Amazing value! Host was awesome with communication

No air conditioner were in these properties and our days were around 85 degrees. It was unusually hot. My husband had a hard time breathing due to the altitude. Our problem not the property. Climbed lots of stairs. Very warm nights

Scott was very accomodating and went beyond the call of duty to make our stay pleasant. When the pool was unexpectedly out of service, he made sure we had another pool near by. He even provided snacks and drinks for us pool side.

Our visit to Brian Head was great. We had a few hiccups, but Scott fixed them as soon as he could. The Condo was great, we were only bummed that the pool was down while we were visiting. We’d definitely go back again!

Very clean property! Scott, our PM was so kind and helpful throughout our stay. He was very quick to answer any questions we had via email (Vrbo). Our condo was spacious. Had enough supplies in kitchen and pool towels, etc. would highly recommend!

We has a wonderful stay with family and friends using this penthouse condo in Brian's Head. The location was convenient and has access to the town shuttle which makes it much easier to get around. The condo was clean and warm when we arrived which was so welcoming. Lots of beds and space to accommodate large parties. Scott was a pleasure to work with and was quick to respond to any of my questions or requests. My one recommendation would be to pack light... the condo is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator so you have to hump your luggage, groceries and gear up 6 sets of stairs (located in an inside stairwell). Thanks Scott for a great time, we'll definitely be back soon!

The host Scott was amazing it was snowing like crazy he volunteered to drive us up in the snowing conditions due to our car was AWD but not 4x4. He and his family where great in all aspects the property was clean and everything worked. The host had connections with the shuttle service is was easy getting around town with that service. I would highly recommend using properties ran by Scott Kraft and family. Thank you Scott for making our first trip to Brian Head and amazing one.

Stayed three nights with three families (16 people total). The heated garage under the building was nice. This is not a ski in and out location, but the Brian Head Shuttle service will come and pick you up. You have to call to let them know and usually there within 5 minutes. The swimming pool and hot tub are really nice after a full day of skiing. The kitchen was fully equipped. The kids enjoyed the different sleeping options. This location is right in the middle of Brian Head and Navajo.

We loved our stay! Those stairs are no joke but overall it fit everyone comfortably, the price was perfect and the owners responded quickly. If we ever make it back to Brian Head, we’d stay here again!

Everything went well. The pool and hot tub were nice on a cold day. Fire place was on and condo was warm when we arrived. Kids loved the pods to sleep in.

This condo is in a beautiful location and is perfect for a family or group of friends visiting southern Utah for Shakespeare Festival or visiting the state and National parks. Needs a little TLC, but perfect size for a large group.

This place can sleep 12 adults! The kitchen has ample place to cook to accommodate those who stay. There is a sun room with two beds. On a clear night, stars can be seen clearly from the top bed.
I am glad we rented this place.
Thank you for making it available for others to enjoy.

Short stay in Brian Head
First if you are unable to climb stairs while carrying too much luggage this is not the place for you. There is no elevator. The house has plenty of space for a large group. There is no AC only fans for summer. This is more of a young persons place to stay for a ski trip. Brian head is quiet and dead during summer but close to the national parks!

Family of 13
This house was perfect and well stocked for our big family’s overnight stay. The kitchen was exactly as described. The beds were plentiful, and the directions were pristine. The only struggle was no elevator for my in-laws and 3 flights of stairs plus all the luggage we brought. But we loved everything else! Definitely recommend it!

Fantastic Location and Comfortable Condo.
This condo is very spacious for families with plenty of parking and easy access to either lodge. Three main bedroom areas with their own bathrooms. The kitchen is well organized and had everything we needed to make meals. Plenty of space to sit down and eat. The community pool was enjoyed by our family but we were disappointed that the jacuzzi was not working. The ski out in the mornings was great. The shuttle was easy and a great option for getting to and from the lodges. The condo was pretty clean and we were happy to see hard flooring instead of carpets when we arrived. The pictures had different flooring and furniture - maybe from a different unit? The owner was very helpful when we had questions. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would happily book again.

DISAPPOINTED
For an Penthouse that sleeps 16? (there were 9 of us)I have never been more disappointed. Firstly, it was dirty!! crumbs on side of bed! Light bulbs broken! Dusty! Most uncomfortable couch that only sits 5 people. Yes, only 5 people. So not cozy! People sitting on bar stools to watch a movie after skiing. Really???? Kitchen was unequipped! two small frying pans, no cheese cutter, sharp knives etc etc. I could go on and on about the that!! Someone dropped a piece of bread on the second landing ( we were 4th) that was there for the 5 days we were. The place is not kept up, molding missing, could hardly move shower door, dirt marks on walls etc. I will never stay there and would not recommend it. Scott the manager was very helpful! Kuddos to him!!! This is my first bad review.

Snow fun
We were excited to spend some days on the slopes and found the condo a good place for a large group. The place is much more compact/smaller than it looks in the pictures and more rundown than indicated. The kitchen was great to work in and had all the supplies we needed. The beds were good but the fireplace never did work for us. The heat was good in the main bedrooms but not the open living area. If games and toys are going to be provided for the kids they should be upgraded...and complete. Hauling your stuff up and down three stories is a workout. It was a close ride to the slopes and the shuttle was good. We had a wonderful time. Thank you!

Unit not currently at 5-Star Rating like you'd expect
To say it pains me to write a negative review is an understatement, but our experience at this vacation rental left much to be desired. Some of our concerns felt so grave and unaddressed they were reported to VRBO’s health/safety team. Four families, traveling from three separate states stayed 7 nights at this rental over Christmas 2021. A FEW POSITIVES: Responsive Host; gracious enough to allow early check-in; provided us with helpful details for check-in and maneuvering the space. Excellent location/shuttle access
THE DOWNSIDE:
Cleanliness Lacking - Upon arrival, we noticed DIRE need for deep cleaning. Walls/Wal Art were very dirty, covered with grease, grime, and dust. Dishes needed washed prior to use. Floors were clean. Carpeting on stairs and in the loft area was filthy. It felt like the unit had been cleaned by children, not professionals.
Photo Discrepancies - No recliner, Different couch (not near as plush/comfortable), Different dining table, Different bar stools, 3 bean bag chairs offered, were missing. Limited seating for a large group
Questionable Fire Safety in Stairwell: Outside Door Access to the outside at each level of the stairwell was blocked by nearly 3 feet of snow. Having babies, small children, and a few older adults in our group, we felt this was a major safety concern in the event of a fire
Upper-level railing/stairway railing very loose & bars too widely spaced – We had both a toddler and baby in our group and were constantly nervous because of the loose railings and spaces large enough between posts that our smallest members could fit through.
Bug found in Bed –Upon leaving on our last morning, we discovered a bed bug in the master bedroom. Photos/videos were sent to both the owner and VRBO. Four of the party discovered bites
WHY DID WE STAY?
We had no place to go. Our group was large & Brian Head, UT sells out over Christmas. Flights were booked, cars rented, a week’s worth of meals prepped, skiing prebooked for 7 days, snowmobiling booked in advance - we did our best to remain light hearted and make things work. Processing concerns w/Host was beyond frustrating and left no reassurance for improvements. He repeatedly badgered and bullied me stating, “I have several five-star reviews” – as though that negated the issues I was attempting to address. Rather than handling our concerns with introspection and affirmative action, he offered excuses and blamed us for the property’s short comings.

A great place for a Large group
This is the second time we have stayed in one of Scott’s properties. He is a wonderful host and we’ll stay again. It’s a great place to stay with a large group and it has all the needed amenities. He is very easy to contact and is very accommodating.

Acclimation visit
Used the condo to help acclimate to altitude before experiencing the Aquarius hut to hut biking adventure. Good place for 6 of us both before and after our trip.

Great Property!
We had a really fun time at this property. We had a pretty good sized group, but there were plenty of places to sleep and 3 bathrooms, so that worked out well. The kids were a little disappointed that the pool was closed and unavailable. That was one of the selling points for this place since we had a lot of children/teens in our group. It looked like the pool has been closed off for quite a while. Parking was just fine, even with 3 vehicles. I read that a lot of people complained about all of the stairs, but it was just fine for the group we had. That should definitely be a consideration if you have elderly people in your group however. The owners were great to communicate with and again, we had a really fun time!

Acclimated here for biking adventure
Used this great condo to acclimate prior to our Escape Adventures Aquarius trail. With 6 of us the size and location worked great. Only 2 bathrooms but worked out fine.
With a large group, this would be a nice ski condo in season.
