Home was clean and spacious, enjoyed the stay and location having direct access to the lake, as well as easy access to national park. Wifi/cell is spotty due to location but not a huge concern as it’s easy to get cell off of property. Train runs consistently, but I wouldn’t let that deter you from staying, bring ear plugs just in case! Would highly recommend the home!

Would have given a 5 in reviews if the lights/lamps would turn on and we could get WIFI. Troubleshooted and gave up after a erd try. Place is amazing and the service too. Id definitely use them again, hands down!

We greatly enjoyed our stay here. The house was cozy and had everything we needed. The deck overlooking the lake was quite peaceful. The proximity to the park was perfect. We will definitely stay here again.

Fruit-flies swarmed when first checked in. Lights were not all functioning; dryer was out; dishwasher needed some figuring out; AC was very helpful but was prohibited to use in the instruction. Tain going all night long and if windows opened, train horns blasted all night, couldn't sleep. Called the communication center, the maintenance crew responded but the communication was spotty and way delayed. Bummer!

Property was not exactly as listed. There is NO AC. There is a portable unit that is not set up. Windows with screens still allowed gnats to enter house. Internet was very slow. The house was clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the loons, the lake views and trains. Very close to Glacier National Park Apgar area.

This house is very nice and beautifully located in a lake with a railroad across the way. I knew there was going to be trains, I just didn’t realize it was like 20+ per day. When we arrived there was molding bread in the cupboard (totally covered in mold), stray pringles can in the living room and the main air filter that hasn’t been cleaned in a decade. Not a great intro to the house. Reviews from a year ago mentioned the washer machine not working, which still hasn’t been fixed. That was a pain because we all specifically packed thinking we could do laundry. Wifi is total crap and works part of the time but was not super surprising based on the remoteness.

Train noise and wifi issues were made clear when booking. This would not be a good location for a light sleeper. The trains run frequently all night long. Wifi is terrible and seems they could improve that. The house was lovely.

Filthy upon arrival. Sign on Washer said it was broken and do not use. No Wifi. Neither the broken washer nor the lack of WIFI disclosed prior to arrival despite house being advertised as having both. Filthy bathrooms and kitchen. Never again.

This cabin is set on a beautiful lake in the woods and is everything you could ask for in Montana. Hopefully the cleaning company can pick up their game a little. The carpets were stained, there were 5 light bulbs out in the kitchen and the floors were dirty. If you can get past the less than “clean” feeling! This place is a gem!

Home was clean and located on a beautiful lake. Very close to Glacier National Park. The downstairs shower in master bath didn’t drain and was not functional. Internet Service terrible and when I reached out to Vacasa no response back. Vacasa didn’t offer much compensation for the problems when we returned home and filed a complaint. We will not rent through Vacasa again!

Great location!

Great location!

We stayed here as a base to get into Glacier National Park and it was beautiful! The house is clean and gorgeous, and still very peaceful/ scenic despite the train tracjs across the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed sipping coffee in the mornings and hanging out by the chimnea on the porch overlooking Lake 5 as well as the beautiful interior of the house. We hope to be able to come back to visit one day!

The location was great and we loved the wrap around porch. Many kitchen items were not clean, all of the sinks and showers are not draining properly. Upstairs bathroom is need of repair.

Great cabin, very close to the Glacier National Park entrance. Very clean and had all kitchen utensils needed to cook at home. Gas grill was great for cooking salmon, steak and chicken. Owner/Vacassa was not very responsive but really didn’t have any issues. While the train does come through a lot, The train did not bother us at all. Lake is nice but to cold for swimming. Overall, great place place to stay to visit Glacier and would stay again

We stayed here July 17-24. We had an amazing stay. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed and the gas grill was nice! As is mentioned in multiple areas, a train runs right across the lake from the cabin. It was closer than we thought it would be and is quite loud when on the deck. It runs about once every hour or two. It really didn't bother us. We could not hear it when inside when the windows were closed and it never woke us up. Water pressure was great in the downstairs shower. Less so in the upstairs but not weak (just less than downstairs). Nice washer and dryer on-site. Small cooler in the laundry room closet. Wood was available for a fire (but fire hazard this week). An assortment of seasonings were available for cooking in addition to cooking spray. We never needed anything during the week so can't comment on availability of the manager. Wifi is slow, but they warn of that and is true all over the area (as expected). It suited us just fine, as we weren't there to be on the phone or computer. DirecTV available in the cabin. Lake was calm and kids enjoyed swimming in it. Several floats available as well as a pump. An Adirondack chair is down by the water. Overall, we had an absolutely fantastic week and would for sure stay here again! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great family cabin & location for Glacier NP

The cabin was a perfect size for our family. Our kids loved it and the kids’ room was great. We had really rainy weather during our stay, so I was glad we had plenty of space inside and a nice washer and dryer available. The kids loved the board games and TV and even went in the chilly lake water a couple times. The location is great for access to the west side of Glacier National Park. The train was quite loud when sitting outside on the deck, but it did not interfere with most of our sleep. The trains are pretty frequent just on the other side of the lake, but the location and views of the lake are so gorgeous that we didn’t mind. It was a great choice for a family-friendly cabin near the national park.

The view was beautiful. Train was not an issue. In a very private area. Everything was as indicated. We had a fire inside and outside, lots of firewood for our use. Very quick to get into the park and good restaurants close by. Buy your groceries before you get to West Glacier as they are very expensive in town.

VRBO listening was not accurate. We were notified about the active train tracks across the lake a few days before our arrival. We would not have booked this home had we known about the trains. Two microwaves in the house and neither one worked. Wifi network was not available as advertised. House needs a deep clean really bad. Kitchen not well stocked with proper cookware and such like other homes we’ve rented. Fire place was nice and location to Glacier NP was great. Large deck as nice and enjoyable when trains were not going by.
