This cabin is a one of a kind tranquil mountain retreat! Dark skies perfect for stargazing. Completely remodeled and finished out in a beautiful cabin feel. Brand new deck, and all new living room and king bedroom furniture! Full kitchen finished with granite counter tops. Amazing views of Lumpy Ridge. Cabin sits on 2.5 acres with beautiful trees and rock outcroppings. Almost completely surrounded by Rocky Mountain National Park and a Conservation Easement. Great patio/porch with total serenity and wildlife viewing. Perfect getaway to leave it all behind! One mile to downtown Estes Park. Close to both RMNP entrances - 3.5 miles to Beaver Meadows Park Entrance and 4 miles to Fall River Park Entrance. Within a mile of many popular wedding venues including the Stanley Hotel, SkyView at Fall River Village, and Black Canyon Inn.

Love the location - secluded and serene with spectacular views. Another plus is downtown shops and restaurants are close by. The cabin was perfectly sized and had everything we needed for a great stay. My husband and I enjoyed spending time on the deck. We're looking forward to making a return visit next year.

Let me start by saying I do not leave very many reviews. But my wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved everything about this place. We loved the fact that you are only a few minutes from town but feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. The views are amazing. It is very clean.

Can't say enough great things about this place. Perfect for me & my man. Advertised as newly renovated and it was, boy it was fabulously decorated, comfortable inside and out. Great location for privacy, live deer frolicking through the property, stars felt like you could grab them, abundance of Elk, chimpmonks, rabbits and amazing sunrise & sunsets. Perfect location, walkable to the town, although we drove most of the time so we could explore the area for live animals! I highly reccomend this quaint cottage!

What a great cabin. The cabin has fabulous views and is nicely done inside and out. The neighborhood is super quiet and we didn't have any issues with surrounding properties. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed for our stay. We didn't have any issues during our stay, so we never contacted the property manager, but the phone numbers we posted in a couple of places, just in case. The bed was super comfy and we had plenty of linens. The closet is large and also has a dresser for clothing. All the appliances were in good working order. There is a small window unit in the bedroom, but we didn't need it even in late July. We just used the ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room. I would definitely recommend this cabin for a single or couple. It is close to town for easy access, but far enough away to be out of the hustle of downtown.

Loved the property and cabin. Great location for feeling submerged in the mountains and yet less than a mile from downtown Estes Park. Place was exceptionally clean, had everything we needed in the kitchen and the bed was very comfortable. Relaxing place to unwind. Convenient access to RMNP!

We have stayed in many rental homes in the Estes Park area over the years. For my wife and I, this was by far the best. Counting Stars cabin was perfect for two. It was comfortable, clean and complete. But the location was outstanding! Terrific views off the deck to the north and east. Secluded, isolated and quiet--we were a 3 minute drive from the SuperValue/downtown yet the cabin is located such that you wouldn't know there was a town within 10 miles. Only one other small cabin is visible from the property. Wildlife was abundant. When we travel as a couple only, this will be our preferred place to stay in Estes Park. We loved this place!

We really enjoyed this quiet cabin stay, and were thrilled to find it at the end of a private drive with an amazing view. Close access to Rocky Mountain National Park, where we saw bighorn rams, moose, elk and more! We also visited the MacGregor Ranch (just 5 minutes away) and did the homestead tour there. The cabin was a cozy space to rest, relax, cook some meals and we even did some star gazing on the deck! Worth getting up early to catch the sunrise. Definitely recommend and plan to return.

Terrific small cabin. Perfect for a retired couple. Walk to town if you’re somewhat fit but otherwise short 5 min drive. Quiet. Well stocked. Love the new fire pit. Washer and dryer a bonus. Great stay and will definitely look at a longer stay next time.

We saw Mule deer, a Bear and when we went to town so many Elk. Very peaceful and gorgeous surroundings. If staying in CO again we would definately go back.

The cabin had incredible views and stars were beautiful thanks to the dark sky community. It was a little challenging finding the cabin checking in after dark, but no biggie. Close enough to walk to The Stanley and downtown, but far enough away for a bit more peace.

I thought this cabin was in an awesome location, close to downtown but far enough away so you felt like you were more in the mountains!! Very peaceful. Loved every minute of it. Will come back for sure :):)

What really sealed it for us was the large deck with the gas grill and fire pit. It was very relaxing to just sit and enjoy the peace and the view after the fun filled days of hiking in the park, walking the town or touring the Stanley. The owners were extremely nice and hospitable. My wife and i definitely recommend this property.

D'Rae & Kim's cabin was perfect for my trip to RMNP! The cabin was very clean and the location was great. It is close to town, but also secluded where you can enjoy your privacy and the beauty of nature. During my trip I saw lots of deer and elk pass by the property while enjoying my coffee in the morning on the deck. I would definitely recommend staying at D'Rae & Kim's cabin!

We had the most amazing time in Estes and D’Rae and this property made it even better. They were so accommodating and offered great advice on restaurants. The place itself offers one of the best views of a sunrise right on the property! We had three elk walk right in front of us as we were on the deck sitting. The stay was everything we were looking for! I would recommend this place to any couple looking for a nice comfy cabin with spectacular views.

This was the first little vacation for my boyfriend and I and Estes Park was the perfect spot. The cabin was located in a nice quiet area and had the most amazing view of the mountains all around us! We will definitely consider staying here again if/when we come back to the area again.

This cabin was cute and cozy! It's on the edge of a natural area, so we saw deer and elk from the deck. We went in winter, and it was plowed well. We were able to drive to our adventures in RMNP and then come back to our nice cabin that really felt like home!

We love Estes Park and now we have a new favorite cabin to stay in! The location is perfect because it’s at the end of a road and makes you feel that you are secluded but you are right there in town. The cabin is roomy and comfortable and has everything you need. Communication with the owners was very efficient and they made sure we had all the directions and check in info that we needed before arriving. The detailed directions definitely helped because we arrived in the dark and in a snowstorm and would have had a hard time finding it without them. Highly recommend!
