Friends (all of us up there in years!) descended on Northern Virginia for a high school reunion. This home was perfect - quiet neighborhood, but very convenient to Falls Church/Arlington, and surrounding areas. Roomy home, good sized bedrooms, plenty of hot water. Owner very fast to communicate. Would stay there again.

Great place for a family

Spacious home in a great location, close to Tysons Corner and Falls Church. The decor is dated, but the linens were clean and the beds were comfortable. Good WiFi, close to groceries and a short drive to many restaurants.

My three teenage sons and my parents came to Washington DC for a family vacation. This home suited us perfectly! We had enough bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate us. We also enjoyed using the large kitchen to cook our meals. What a beautiful and safe neighborhood. A bonus was that we had easy access to the metro. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Nice location. Private and quiet.

We stayed here for one week and it was a great place to stay. Very clean - owner communication was great! Very close to freeways, which made it easy to explore all the places we wanted to see :)

Great property overall. Very easy to check in and convenient to grocery stores, metro station and major roadways. I booked this for my family to stay at when they came into town and it was a beautiful gathering place and very comfortable. It is in a quiet neighborhood and the backyard was great to sit in and enjoy a cup of coffee.
One downfall of the property was the BBQ. The burners are completely rotted out and make it almost impossible to grill on.
It also appeared that the fire alarms are missing from the rooms and others do not have batteries.

The property is as described. It is close to the Metro for easy access to Washington DC, a grocery store, restaurants and a park with an outdoor pool, miniature golf and a climbing course. It was perfect for our trip. We even had a couple of wiffle balls games in the back yard. Thanks.

This was a truly wonderful vacation, and the place to stay was a significant factor. This home was located in a great neighborhood and was close to shopping for groceries, a Starbucks, or other amenities. The drive to DC for exploring was quick yet away from the hassle of being in a downtown location. The home was the right size for the two adults and three adolescents. Everything was clean, furnished and available for us. I would highly recommend this location, and will be keeping this handy for our next visit. Thank you so much!

We were three business travelers and enjoyed a perfect stay. We each had our own comfortable bedroom with another to spare and, even better, we each had our own bathroom. The living room and kitchen were soon on as well. The location was super convenient to Tyson’s Corner and within walking distance to a metro station and a Safeway shopping plaza with a couple of restaurants. Great stay.

It was a great time staying here for our DC vacation. The place had a few quirks (the main level toilet was a little wobbly) but that didn't detract from our stay. We had no issues with a lack of electrical outlets like some have said. Beds were comfy and the location was perfect for our daily treks into DC. The backyard was excellent for the children to run off some energy with the dog. We would stay here again if in the area.

This house perfectly met our needs. We needed a place to stay while our house was being renovated. We have two dogs, and needed a fenced back yard where we could let them out without having to leash them up everytime they needed to go out.
The location was also terrific. It's easily accessible to major roads into DC, as well as the Metro and a major mall.
The house is located on a quiet neighborhood street. The street is in transition, with old “cottages” which will inevitably be torn down when sold (in spite of their $800,000 price tags), alternating with megamansions selling for $1.8 million.
The house was very clean. As others have noted, most of the furniture is old, but it is comfortable. We both use CPAPS, and only one of the four bedrooms had side tables on BOTH sides of the bed for our machines — but that was enough.
The basement is not very useful or welcoming — it’s a couch, a rug and a TV – but we didn’t need it, so it wasn’t an issue.
There are some quirks to the house. There are VERY few electrical outlets. Knowing this, we brought lots of extension cords. It would have been great if the house had provided some.
The living room TV has basic cable. It also has a ROKU box, so we were able to cast premium channels through our phone. We also brought our own smart TV to put in the bedroom we used. The WiFi is excellent.
The kitchen was well equipped.
Communications with the house manager were excellent. Responses were superfast

Worked perfectly for our family. We picked this house as it was less than a mile from our daughter and had 4 bedrooms and 3 bedrooms including a bedroom on the main floor; perfect for my 82 year old mother. The backyard was great for our “granddog”.

Charming older home in quiet neighborhood. The owner was helpful and responsive immediately. We would definitely stay there again.

Staying here was fine but not great. The house needs some work, kitchen cabinets are attached to the walls way too high. First floor toilet is wobbly. Sofas are ok if seat cushion inserts were replaced with dense foam. Very few lamps, extension cords everywhere, did not see a fire alarm. Did not use the basement looks like a dungeon. Showers so small that my adult son said he turned around in it and the door flew open completely. The house needs a book that stays there with where internet plug is, so you don’t have to contact owner with every problem, question.

The home is just as advertised. The location is great and we had plenty of room to spread out. Short drive to restaurants and the East Falls Church Metro Station. Not too far from DC, Dulles and area attractions. The house is in a neighborhood in a small town area outside the city. It’s not a “resort area”, but it seemed like a nice “real” area and the people were nice. Excellent communication with the person listing. Would definitely stay here again. Overall 5 stars!

My husband, son and I had a wonderful time in Falls Church. This property was so close to the metro that we never had to drive into the city. Very close to Arlington National Cemetery and Mount Vernon. A great Wegman’s grocery store not far from the house, and many other stores, too. The house was a nice size for our family, and we enjoyed being able to barbecue in the evening after a fun day visiting all the sights. The house was situated on a quiet street, and the back yard was surrounded by trees and bushes so the area is private. Enjoyed ourselves very much, and we are so glad that we found this property.

House had everything we needed for our extended stay. Very clean, big fenced back yard, and helpful and quickly responsive hosts. Will stay there again and highly recommended!

House was great location to DC . Easy in and out on close by Metro. House fit 7 perfectly. Quick response by owner to questions.

A great place to stay and enjoy DC. Close to the highway, metro, grocery stores and downtown DC.
House was very nice and well maintained and when we had questions or needed anything the host was always there. Would not heaitate staying here again!

Hedges need trimmed so that house can be seen.
No operating instructions for TV and no checkout instructions.
Easy access to airport and to DC and grocery store.

All in all, our stay was fine. This was an affordable location for a larger group for an extended amount of time. For not a lot of energy and money, furnishings could be upgraded and nicer. Basement was musty and not usable in my opinion (I went down there once when we arrived and did not go back). We were in town during a cool spell in the summer, so the back patio was nice. In the description it said one of the king beds could be replaced for two twin beds, which we requested, but did not happen. Again, not the worst place I stayed in, but host could do a lot better job.
4.7
The home is clean and in good condition, with plenty of room for the seven of us. It was a good place to use for excursions to DC, Mount Vernon, and Arlington.
We made good memories there.

This house worked perfectly for us! We enjoyed the full kitchen, dining table, dishwasher, outdoor grill and patio, three bathrooms and four bedrooms. Everything was clean and ready for us, except the dirty dishes in the dishwasher. We hadn't thought about bringing paper products, but were reminded the day we arrived. Aldi and the train station were close by. Top stair taller than others.
4.7
Our travel came about because my granddaughter was graduating from law school in DC. The neighborhood was safe and the house has a really nice back yard and patio. The house had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for 4 adult women and 1 preteen. The property manager was very quick to respond to the few needs that we requested.
4.7
It was a great place for our family during our vacation to DC

Location was close to Metro and stores. I considered the check in info late from VRBO and contacted the owner directly, which ended up being a good thing as the info from VRBO was incorrect. Other than that, everything was nice.
4.7
Owners very responsive to phone calls and questions. Property was close, 6 miles to the Metro station which we rode 5 out of the 8 days of our stay. Instructions clear for trash, recycle, and check out.
4.7
This property has a fantastic yard for both kids and adults. The fenced in backyard is shaded all afternoon/evening so after a full day of exploring the city we could chill and have some wine while kiddo played.
This was the perfect place -- good location, comfortable beds, plenty of space -- all around a great vacation.

From this house you have Tysons, Falls Church, and Mclean VA within just a few minutes drive. Made for an easy outing to any of those locations.
4.7
Our adult kids and their kids stayed at this home. It was less than two miles from us. The price was very good and there were enough bedrooms and beds that the adults had their own rooms and the kids the same. The photos show 4 bedrooms with king and queen beds but no room with twin beds. I asked to have the king made into twins (first floor) and the manager was very helpful and made the change for me. If someone needs a room with twins do ask well before your arrival date.
I would recommend this property to anyone needing a place in the Tyson's Corner area.

This house was perfect for us. Plenty of room and everything we needed. Comfortable and nice decor that worked very well for our family. Great location near everything you could need. I highly recommend.

Loved the location of this spacious rental house!
Plenty of room for the big family to get along.
Close to shopping and Metro. Near the beltway for quick access to anywhere in the area.
Would stay again and recommend

The house was wonderful. Nancy and Adam were available whenever we needed anything. It was conveniently located near a grocery store and the metro. It was a very relaxing environment. If the house is available when we are visiting family in the area, we would love to stay here again. Thank you again!

This house was a perfect fit for us to visit the Washington area’s of interest. It was only a short drive to catch the Metro downtown.
Our four couples each had their own bedroom. In a nutshell, it was comfortable and convenient! Thanks!

Adequate house in a great location.
Pros: 5 min drive from Metro stop, grocery stores. Close to restaurants, shopping, etc. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Many rooms in the house; one bedroom and bathroom downstairs, and 3 bedrooms and 1 bath upstairs. Basement with some furniture. Relatively inexpensive for the area. We had an issue with the AC and the owners were very quick to respond and got the issue fixed ASAP.
Cons: Old house that needs A LOT of TLC (holes in walls, all bathroom hardware coming out of the wall, many lightbulbs missing, windows are painted shut and/or have no screens). Old furniture that needs to be replaced (dirty rugs, holes in comforter and towels, very squeaky and worn out box frames, animal urine odor in one couch). The kitchen had basic cookware and dining ware, but nothing else (no foil or plastic wraps, containers, sugar, etc).
Overall, this property has its charms, but seems like a "second-thought" project for the owner. It'll do for a quick stay without much needs. It has a lot of potential if the owners would spend a few days here themselves and invest some time and thoughts into the property.

The house worked for our family. Great location - quiet and safe neighborhood. Close to metra station Owner responded quickly to any concerns. Things to improve.... was not stocked for toliet paper..... dishwasher was filled with dirty dishes when we arrived...could use more towels. But otherwise it was perfect
