Great value for money

Quite large, it could comfortably fit 5 people. The host was friendly and really helpful, he had a lot to recommend and still waited to welcome us at the house even when our flight got delayed and we arrived late at night. The outside cats were a plus too.

The house was incredibly humid, most of us were completely unable to sleep because of it.

Superb

Quiet neighborhood away from the busy touristy areas.

When we arrived there was a bit of a musty smell likely because it is an older cave house. We got used to it and didn’t notice it as much after the first day.

Very peacefull and pleasent place. Much more greek then the rest of the island.

The cave house is sth really unique to stay there. Despite being underground, the comfort is very good. Don't expect too many windows, of course. The acoustic is also differnt then in a regular house. I can recommend it to everyone - much better experience than a hotel that are the same all over the world.

Exceptional

Beautiful traditional house with the garden as the absolute highlight, with flowers everywhere it felt magical. It was a pleasure to have breakfast in the garden, and the kitchen was well equipped for our needs. By scooter it took us 15 minutes to get to the beach.

We had a really nice stay, the place is clean, well furnitured with friendly host and friendly staff. Special thank you to both ladies for fruits, wine, sweets and refreshment. We can recommend the place at 100%

We stayed for 2 days and we felt very wonderful! The owner was kind and help us with the luggage accepting to let it at

Everything was exceptional! The neighborhood is a quiet and beautiful one, with incredible buildings and view.

The region has high humidity and the house need to be daily airy. Also I don’t recommend to let your cloths/towel outside during night as you will find them wetter in the morning. But taking into consideration the region, all of this things are normal and as an experience I recommand it!

The perfect holiday in Santorini!

An amazing holiday! A perfect place for visiting Santorini located in a nice and quite area! Definitely a great experience in the cave houses with a perfect garden full of plants and flowers. We enjoyed one week here in both cave houses and was just a perfect experience. Katerina, the host, made our holiday perfect. She is a very nice person and she is taking good care of her guests! We would like to thank to Aris too who was always always available to help us with different situations. Our flight was a night one and Katerina together with Aris welcomed us although we arrived late in the night. Another pleasant surprise was the complimentary goods which were prepared by Katerina for us (water, jam, honey, butter, milk and some pastries). We are warmly recommend this unique place for a perfect holiday! For a future holiday in Santorini, definitely this will be our choice for our accommodation!

Amazing place in Vothonas, magical cave

This place is amazing!!! 🤩🤩🤩 We had a great stay in Katarina's place, which is an unique cave in Vothonas, in a quiet area.. perfect to enjoy without the caos of summer in Santorini. The cave was super fresh, cozy, clean and comfortable! Katarina, the owner, and Aris, who helps her, were so nice with us, and always attentive to any questions, and willing to help. All the atmosphere of this place is magical and an excellent experience. I totally recommend it! And yes! They have cats outside, but you will see that in general there is a lot of cats in Santorini. In our case, we are cat lovers, so it was nice to see them around ☺️... Finally, I have to mention that the owner left us fruits, water, and other delicious things as courtesy in our arrival. So nice!.. thanks for everything 🤩🙏

It’s cool staying in a cave.

Super unique experience. Beautiful patio. Friendly host and cats. Very big and cozy.

The shower is a bit rustic, but it goes with the vibe and was nice and warm.

The cave house is special itself, but it is also furnished in style, with many local and antique elements. We loved the host, which was very warm and welcoming the whole time. Location is quite and off the usual tourist places, but you can reach everything in few minutes with bus, car, ...

Perfect

Quite and pleasant location

Accommodation is real cave…very originally designed. I would totally recommend! Aris and Katarina were so nice and helpful.

Very nice

The cave house is located in Vothonas, a village near Fira. It was a little difficult to find the exact address (I suggest you to follow the indications on Booking). The cave house was clean and had everything we needed. The garden was amazing. Katarina is a lovely host.

The cave-house is actually a cave - it is fresh but it has no windows and it’s a little bit damp inside.

A little slice of heaven

Gorgeous place, beautifully decorated, and with a nice little patio. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The location was quiet and perfect for relaxation. Vothonas is a serene and picturesque village. The hosts were lovely and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and wished we could spend more days there!
