This spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath, beach house is perfectly situated just minutes from downtown Encinitas and steps away from Moonlight Beach. Everything you need is within walking distance from the house - trendy restaurants, relaxing hangouts, parks, library, coffee-houses, and more. I cannot speak highly enough about this property and the owners.The location was perfect for our family vacation.
Moonlight Beach was a three minute walk, and great food and shopping were just a short walk too.
Everything at the property was clean, comfortable, and in great working condition. There is a washer and dryer and everything you need for the beach. There are two bikes to ride around on, and a beautiful deck to sit on in the evening. Erin was extremely accommodating and immediately responsive to all of our questions.

Location is perfect, easy walk to the beach and ice cream! This is the most well stocked house we've ever rented - they literally have everything. Backyard is beautiful and we ate all our meals on the deck. Would be 5 stars if there wasn't a mold issue in the house (the asthmatics in our family felt it...).

We really enjoyed our stay that this home. It has everything that you would need including bikes, wet suites, surf boards and sand toys. If I had to pick something to improve I would want a bigger light in a back yard so you could see the grill better and maybe even eat outside when it is dark out. Other than that it was exactly what we needed. We walked down to the beach everyday. The water was rough when we where there but it was so beautiful and the surfers are always fun to watch. The house is only 35 mins from San Diego so it was an easy drive to the Zoo and Sea World. We enjoyed Swamis Beach at low tied. Cali Cream is just up the road with the most amazing ice cream. Thanks for a great stay!!

Amazing location - just steps from Moonlight beach and easy walk to main shops, restaurants, coffee shops. Bikes were great to have and can explore a lot of the area without a car. Loved having 3 bedrooms and large kitchen. Garage and all if it’s outdoor and beach fun gear was great to have. Nice backyard space to hang out in too.

We were in the San Diego area for the La Jolla Labor Day Classic youth soccer tournament, so we needed a house to accommodate three adults and three kids, two of whom were competing in the tournament. The house was perfect for location to the fields, Moonlight Beach, grocery stores, etc. Having two bathrooms was a must, and the big kitchen/dining area we used often to cook our own meals to save money as the kids eat a lot! The beach was a welcome reprieve after all day games, so having the bikes, toys, towels etc. at our disposal was very convenient. This cute house is stocked with all necessities, and it is a quiet and relaxing place to be in busy Encinitas. It's much better than a hotel stay!

Minus a bit of a mix up with the cleaners the day we arrived that was quickly remedied by calling the property manager everything was perfect. The beach walk was short and easy. The toys they had for the beach were amazing. The house itself worked great to invite our family staying for a bbq and to play games at night. There was plenty of sitting room and the kitchen lay out was lovely. We also loved the first aid kit as we had one kid who needed a band aid. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks for the well stocked and accessible house.

This place was stocked full of everything you want to bring but don’t have room for in your luggage. Beach towels, sand toys, wagon, beach chairs, games, wet suits (super clutch!), everything for the kitchen and more. We thoroughly enjoyed the proximity to the beach and Encinitas area. This rental property is just 1 block away from the beach. Also a short walk to restaurants and shopping. It easily accommodates 6 people. But the twin beds might be too short for tall adults. The house has everything you need for your stay. It was a pleasure.

This was a great place to spend fall break with the kids. Everything we needed to enjoy our stay was included in the house. Loved the ability to park in garage. The sitting area in backyard was very relaxing. Just a few minutes downhill to the beach. Full kitchen was helpful to prepare meals when the kids were over restaurants. Kids really like having their own bedrooms. We would definitely visit again. The only hiccup was on arrival the property had not yet been cleaned. The owner put us up in a nearby hotel and we were able to get in the next morning. Very little impact to our stay.

Nice bungalow near the beach. Had most kitchen equipment. Nice courtyard as well. Has a garage to fit your car. Only negative is doesn’t seem to have A/C which was ok when we were there and just used extra fans

Booked this house blind based on location and needs for our family. It exceeded our expectations and then some! It literally had everything we could possibly need for cooking, beach, and comfort. Despite the fact that Mother Nature decided to rain on part of the wedding we attended, it was perfect in every way. We are bird nerds and there was nothing better than enjoying our coffee in the morning on the backyard patio and looking at all the birds visiting the trees in the yard. Encinitas and Moonlight Beach is our family's fav place to make beach memories. This was our 3rd summer to enjoy time at Erin's family home, and as always, we had a great week!! Love the home, neighborhood and short walk down to Moonlight Beach. As I've noted before in previous review, this is by far the BEST stocked beach home we've ever rented and we've been renting beach vacay homes/condos for almost 20 years. We love the outside space for family dinners and gatherings. Beach wagon, chairs, beach towels are always there!! I love to cook at least 3 big family dinners and the well stocked kitchen is perfect! Owner is awesome to work with too!! Thanks again Erin for sharing your home with our family!!

The perfect beach vaca
I stayed at the beach house with my 14 and 28 year old sons. Everything about the house was perfect. The location was great-close to coffee, ice cream, and the beach. The house was clean & well stocked and I especially appreciated the laid-back tone of the welcome binder. I’ve rented VRBO homes quite a bit and they usually make me nervous with the “do this, don’t do this” instruction-manual type of information printout. As a mom who is usually in charge of opening/closing the house and cleaning up, this is the first rental I’ve stayed at where I truly felt like I was on vacation too. This is the only house I’ve stayed at that I would book again.

Wonderful Beach Accommodation
We had a great time staying at this house which is just a short 2-minute downhill walk to the beach. The home was very comfortable, and owners were quick to have a minor repair made at our convenience. The area is really quiet, and the shopping and restaurants were all within walking distance from the house. Grandboys loved using the boogie boards at the beach. There was a good supply of beach towels at the house and the beach wagon was perfect for carting all our stuff to and from the car. The backyard with large deck was the perfect place to hang out after a day at the beach. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful home for our family vacation.

Amazing location!
Our family enjoyed our stay at this house very much. The location was so convenient- only a block and a half to the beach- and the house was very well stocked with lots of beach goodies. The outdoor shower made it easy to rinse the kids and sand toys off. We would definitely stay here again!

The home is charming, the location couldn't be better. The wetsuits MADE THIS VACATION for us (the pacific can be a little cold for some and we've never used wetsuits before so we were pleasantly surprised to try out the wetsuits only to find out that our entire family loved getting in the cold water because the wetsuits truly work and it didn't feel as cold.
This ended up being the dream vacation we wanted and needed and selfishly I don't want to have to try to schedule around other people wanting to rent this property.
This place was amazing. Thank you for helping create such wonderful memories for our family.
