The property is in an excellent location and very close to the beach but that’s about it. From the day we arrived our WiFi was touch and go. It was really bad and some of us were supposed to work from home and weren’t able to. Then we all took cold showers. The following day the water shut off at the house which delayed our boat reservation. Then property management company promptly responded and turned it back on. The following day on check out it turned off again and delayed our check out. All of these things just dampened our experience we got a discount on the puppetry but I think our whole stay should have been refunded after 2 days of waking up with no water. Also the property felt dusty overall and needed a nice deep clean

We had a wonderful time at this property. There was plenty of room to accommodate our extended family. The living room was a bit warm in the afternoons, but with the windows open, there was generally a nice breeze. The mattresses need to be updated and the jacuzzi did not work. Lots of comfortable seating in the living area and plenty of room to all eat together. Parking was great too and the location was very convenient.

This is a great location if you’re looking to be out of the hustle bustle yet still close to Stateline. The house is amazing as far as accommodating large families, and has so much to offer on the lower level. Full kitchen, TV/family room, full bar area/ poker table, pool table, indoor spa, sauna and shower. However, the entire downstairs has a very musty/moldy odor, that hits you like a ton of bricks when you enter through the garage (the easiest access to the home). Upstairs has a large living room with floor to ceiling windows (with shades that do not block the sun or heat), connected to a dining room with a greenhouse type glass ceiling and walls. It was in the 80’s the week we were there and the heat made the 2 rooms unbearable/ unusable even with the 3 fans they provide going full blast. Everyone’s main complaint was the poor condition of the furniture (chairs with loose back and broken arms, torn upholstery) and the beds. I did mention to the property manager after the stay that the sheets were ill-fitting, yellowed and stained, and that the beds were very broken down. He said he would look into it. Most beds had some type of topper on them to disguise the saggy mattresses but they too were old and bunched up. Reviews from several years ago made the same complaints but the more recent reviews were pretty good so I booked this home, thinking that they had addressed to bed issues. This is a nice house but it definitely needs some TLC.

The house was dirty. You can tell it hadn’t been dusted in an a very long time. The downstairs bathroom floor had dirt and hair in the corners, kitchen was full of finger prints and crumbs on the counter. Carpets were also full of crumbs not vacuumed. The house needs some attention. Carpets and furniture is stained, walls are scuffed, and the water pipes make a. Wet loud banging noise everytime a toilet flushed. When I say loud, I mean it wakes you up. Wi-Fi didn’t work downstairs at all. We tried to contact the property manager but received no response yet. The checkout instructions weren’t sent to us until 10:30 pm the night before. With the bad internet, we didn’t get them until after we left. Overall, this property is poor. I know they make enough money off of it that some of these issues could be taken care of if someone would simply pay attention to them. I’m seeing a review from four months ago with the same complaint on cleanliness but apparently management doesn’t care to improve.

Our family ages 60 all the way down to 6 enjoyed every aspect of this home. Our family of 10, 4 adults and 6 kids loved playing pool and hanging in the hot tub! Kitchen is fully stocked, we had a full Christmas dinner! The views are absolutely amazing and so close to Tahoe! We will definitely be booking next year!!

The house was dirty. The kitchen sink was dirty, coffee pot was dirty, outside of kitchen garbage can was filthy. There was a pan in the cupboard that still had food stuck to it. No kitchen towels, had to use bathroom towels which left us short in bathrooms. The whole place was dusty and just not clean. Someone needs to check up on the cleaning crew cause it was not good.

The house was spacious which is what we wanted. There was plenty of living area for entertainment. However, the pictures were much nicer than the actual property. We were fooled. The house was not well taken care of. It is outdated and old. The beds need replacing and were uncomfortable. The towels were badly stained and were nasty. If you stay here, bring your own sheets and towels.

The Cedar Ridge Lakehouse was perfect for my group of girlfriends for our annual bunko getaway. Honestly, the pictures do not do this place justice, it's an exceptional property. The outside deck patios were large enough to accommodate all of us and that is hard to find for outdoor seating areas. This place would easily accommodate a multi-generational family vacation. We never felt crowded, and everyone slept well with plenty of bathroom and shower options. The hot tub is way bigger than we expected, and though it was not fully functioning, the property manager made sure to get maintenance out quickly and we ended up with heat but no bubbles. We were okay with that and still enjoyed the indoor hot tub with the window and sliding glass doors open. The property management accommodated our early check in and were super responsive to any questions. I would definitely recommend and will book again.

What a wonderful place to make memories. We had a total of eleven people, two families and 7 children. The house has many bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate everyone. The beds also had sensor hearing pads on them which was very nice. I’ve never been so warm in the snow. The house maintained a very comfortable temperature through your stay despite non of the fireplaces functioning. We stayed in February and the huge windows were absolutely stunning to watch the snowfall. Also the house is 2 steps from a small national forest that provided the best place to sled and play in the snow. It was so convenient to walk outside and play, especially with kids. That would be my main highlight! So much fun. The hot tub was fully functional and got nice and hot. The sauna as well. The lights on the hot tub were not functioning one hundred percent of the time. They were very outdated. The house itself was big, offered plenty of entertainment. We never had to leave. The children all had something to do at all times.You might want to bring your own spray to clean the counters throughout the stay, we did as children get messy sometimes. There were sleds in the garage which was nice although we brought our own.I already messaged the owner but the upstairs dishwasher or double ovens didn’t work throughout the entire stay which was very inconvenient moving things out of the oven upstairs for cooking and having to wash many dishes instead of utilizing the dishwasher. You can tell this house is highly used and lakes some integrity but other than that I wouldn’t mind staying again. Add to your winter wishlist for large groups.

Beautiful house. Very spacious. None of the tvs worked. Which would have been okay, except for fact house is on a hill and you can’t go up/down safely if there is snow on ground. We were there in heavy snow and were trapped. Glad we had brought extra food cause we weren’t going anywhere!

The home is absolutely spacious. You get the best of both, a cabin vibe with the exposed beems and rock walls. Then you have the modern touches as well. Space for everyone and everything. From the indoor jacuzzi (which is fully functional) to the pool table and open layout Floorplan to entertain in the kitchen. Speaking of, the kitchen is fully stocked with every dish and appliance and plenty of them (ex: over 20 of each silverware) and yes, both kitchens are fully stocked. Each room also extra blankets, toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags.
Check-in was easy with a code and even when I did contact them, response was immediate. Overall a 5 out of 5 for us! We will rent this home again next year for Thanksgiving!

Okay at best
While the house has a lot of potential and space, it was not a great stay. The property was not clean: dirty bed and sheets and very uncomfortable (we washed all the sheets) dirty bathrooms (hair and dirt everywhere) dirty kitchen (even found hair in the fridge, open and used capri suns around the house). The windows in the living room make the heat unbearable in the summers as the house as no AC. The main living room on the 2nd floor cannot be utilized due to the heat. The house has a lot of space and 2 balconies which is nice. There is a lot of potential if the house was just cleaned and comfortable. Also there is: No toilet paper, any type of soap, paper towels. Only lake view is from the middle of the street.

Lake Tahoe vacation house
Perfect location, kitchen was very well stocked for everything we needed, porches were wonderful but outdoor furniture and grill were very dirty and needed cleaning. The house had lots of extras to keep everyone busy with whatever they like to do. The beds and furniture needs to be updated. Otherwise we had a great time for the 9 days that we stayed there. Would recommend it to anyone who wants a large place to stay.

Nice House with a few places for improvement
The property itself was very nice overall. The space was able to accommodate myself and 13 others when sharing beds. The extra amenities like the pool table, sauna, and black jack table were appreciated. However, the hot tub did not heat properly and felt more like warm bath water, even after following the instructions to the tee. The beds downstairs were also not well controlled temperature-wise which made them very cold. One of the upstairs bedrooms also had issues with an outside light which was not able to be turned off.

Spacious, clean and serene
The house was a fantastic ski getaway for 12. Just like the review before ours, the jacuzzi did not get warm the 2nd night which was a real bummer after a long day of skiing. We contacted the property manager and they were unable to help. The living room/dining room/Bedroom floor to ceiling windows are beautiful. The sauna is large enough for 5 and gets very hot, kitchen was fantastic. Close to Cave Rock which provided a nice sunset view. Would definitely stay here again if they fix the jacuzzi issue!

Very family friendly!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin and definitely thinking about coming back in the summertime. They provided clean linens and towels, the kitchen is fully stocked with anything that you might need to cook or bake with, The sauna was amazing and hot tub was good but on our last night there it did not work and maintenance said it was after hours and could not come and fix it. other than that we really didn’t have much to complain about, also One thing I would recommend is do not bring light colored or white socks the floors will destroy them.

Cancelled due to fire and toxic smoke and no money back from you
We never saw this property because the air quality was so terrible (worst air quality in the WORLD the week we were supposed to be there). Why would we possibly want to bring a baby and our grown children to a disaster like this, just to hole up in a place with no air conditioner and no ability to be outside on the lake either? Even public beaches were closed due to the air!

Big home, nice location
My family with 9 adults and 5 kids stayed here. The bed situation was a little tight, but doable. The bedroom with twin beds is downstairs by the laundry room, off on its own. The others are upstairs. The double patio and double living areas made it very easy for everyone to find space to hang out. The downstairs kitchen and lounge space smelled like chlorine from the indoor jacuzzi which only bothered some of us. The kitchen is well stocked and everything worked properly. The windows all have screens which was nice since we were there during a heat spell and needed to open up the windows at night. We enjoyed the lake views and the lovely garden/yard. The neighborhood is very quiet. We spent time in south Tahoe as well as sand harbor beach, so it was a good in-between location. It’s an older home but everything is clean and in good, working condition. Appliances are updated. Beds are soft and linens are nice. The only thing that feels less “nice” is that the area rugs are very rippled and the light-colored carpets are stained, and I understand it is difficult to get them cleaned frequently. Overall it feels homey and comfortable, and was very functional for our crew of 14.

Everything was wonderful, the only negative comment I have is about the property manager.
When we first arrived the upstairs was around 100 degrees if not more. The thermostat was stuck at over 90 degrees. When we simply called the property manager to ask if there was anything else we could do to cool off the house besides open up windows and use the fans he basically said we were lying and it was not that hot because his house was in the 83 He was short and rude and basically said it was our fault and hot weather outside. He took a pic of HIS thermostat and sent it to us so we showed him ours. After driving in over 10 hours this was not the welcome we wanted. I understand if you can't do anything but at lease say I am sorry there is nothing we can do, don't make us feel like we are bothering you. We were exhausted and had to leave the house to cool off!
