The house was clean and accomidated our entire family. My issues with the property were that the pool was not usable, it had not been cleaned or maintained, there was no filter in the pump and there were many pieces of paint chips in the pool i guess from a remodel, not to mention the dirt and leaves. Also the air conditioning was pre set on a schedule that kept the temperature during the at 78. Even though we kept the lights off and the blinds and shutters closes. I contacted the host, who was out of state and was not willing to resolve the issue during our stay. Instead it was suggested we either use the pool as is or travel to another location to access another pool. We made do with the situation but I feel we did not get everything we paid for and some type of refund is in order.

On arrival it was necessary for me to wash the bed sheets, because the beds hade been made with dirty sheets. Kitchen pantry door was off the hinges, ice maker didn’t work and the dishwasher almost came out of the cabinet when lowering the door. All bathrooms were on one level causing guests sleeping downstairs to go upstairs to use a bathroom. We did call and emailed our concerns but a response was not quick. We did appreciate the size of the house and finally a repair man came at the end of the week to fix a few of the problems. The fabulous weather made the trip a success. We will return but certainly not at this rental. The response of yes to the first question of this review was my answer for the entire trip outside of the rental.

We had a wonderful time enjoying the house and pool. Even with the beach so close it was nice to escape from the crowds and enjoy our own private oasis. It was everything we hoped for and more. We’d recommend it to anybody.

We recently rented this location for a five night stay in Fort Myers. We had a large group of 14 adults and the house was a very comfortable fit for all, with everyone sharing a bed. The pool was a wonderful plus for the hot days. We also enjoyed the large patios that fit all of us during the rain storms. The beach was a short walk from the home and coolers, chairs, and wagons were wonderfully provided. If you want to use the trolly as transportation up and down the island there was a trolly stop very close as well that would drop you off at major places like time square or the grocery store. However we found renting golf carts and scooters to be much more beneficial and fun. You can find multiple rental places close to the home. We enjoyed our stay and would rent again in the future! Thank you for a great weekend with wonderful memories!

I would definitely rate this property as one of the best I stayed in. My family of nine stayed here for five nights and even though it was more house then we ever needed , it was worth every dime I spent. The location was perfect , just a short couple minute walk to the ocean or a five minute trolly ride to downtown . We spent a lot of hours in our own backyard utilizing the pool . The memories we made there will last a life time.
