Our family of 4 generations—9 of us—came to stay for 2 nights in this beautiful old farmhouse. It was exactly what we needed. Beautifully appointed with absolutely everything we could want or need. Plenty of space to gather, inside and out. So clean and cheery, with a lovely mix of antique and modern conveniences. I couldn’t have loved it more. The hosts were available and so kind. I hope to come again with my family and have more time there.

We happened upon this gem when we were in town for a wedding. There were 6 adults and we all enjoyed the home and the property that included some beautiful outdoor spaces, very much! Jeannie the host is incredible :) she met us as we pulled in, gave us a tour and a brief history of the home, which is very cool. She also brought us baked sweet breads that she prepared and some fresh vegetables from her garden. Cannot recommend this home enough and if ever Crawfordsville beckons us again, we know where to stay!

Wonderful Stay at a Historic Farmhouse
We recently stayed at a beautifully renovated 115-year-old farmhouse, and our experience was fantastic. The check-in process was smooth, and the listing accurately depicted the property. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish.
Our group ranged from infants to children, young adults, and older adults, and the accommodations were perfect for everyone. The hosts were very flexible, allowing us to pitch a tent in the backyard and park our son’s RV in the driveway. We enjoyed campfires, and the garden provided fresh vegetables and flowers, which added to the charm of the stay. There were plenty of activities for the children and lots of space for them to run around.
The hosts were nearby in a renovated barn but were never intrusive. They were available when needed but gave us our space to enjoy the property fully. Their presence was helpful yet unobtrusive.
Thank you for a wonderful stay! We hope to return in the future.

The house is fascinating inside and out, and is a comfortable place to be and relax. Our group enjoyed sitting, looking, and talking. The hosts were very welcoming and generous.

This stay was just delightful! We have stayed in many VRBO's and this home is the most charming. The owners have restored and decorated this home with the utmost care and thought. They also go out of their way to make you feel at home with fresh-baked cookies, excellent recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. We stayed here for our son's graduation from Purdue University, West Lafayette is a 40 minute drive. However, this was a great place to stay and relax when not busy with graduation activities.
Lovely gardens, good kitchen supplies, abundant towels and linens. Well lit at night and easy to find.

This beautiful home was the perfect place for our large family to stay while in town for a wedding. The house was very clean, comfortable and inviting. The owner even baked us cookies to welcome us upon arrival! Jeannie was extremely accommodating and made herself available for anything we needed. We look forward to coming back.

His Havest Home is a beautiful rental property filled with family history. From the adults to the toddlers, everyone in our family enjoyed their stay.
The home is equipped with plenty of useful amenities. We particularly appreciated the sharp knives and newer kitchen equipment when making meals.
Jeannie and Curtis were kind and wonderful hosts. Jeannie responded quickly to messages and gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived. Knowing we had two toddlers and a baby with us, they were quick to offer a travel crib for our use and brought out toys for the toddlers to use outside.
Everything was done to assure our comfort and it was greatly appreciated. We honestly wish our stay could have been longer. We will definitely return if we are ever in the area and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a comfortable rental home for the whole family.

We love this property! We were in town to drop our son off at college. The house, property and owners are amazing. The decor is straight out of a magazine. Jeannie made us feel very welcome and answered all questions we had. She even baked us cookies! We will back again in November! Can’t wait..

Our annual family reunion (six siblings) has been at VRBOs across the country. Jeannie and Curt’s home and hospitality far exceeded anything we’ve experienced. And we’ve been doing this for awhile (we range in age from 61 to 77:) The hosts have thought of absolutely everything to make this a retreat for any group that wants to “bond”. Our stay was four nights but the memories will last the rest of our lives. Go, stay, enjoy, and take lots of pictures so you can look at them at home and recall the blessing of staying there.

Jeannie is such a great host. We really enjoyed our stay, having now been there twice. We feel well taken care at the farmhouse, with everything we need already there. We are looking forward to the next family reunion there!

A group of college classmates and I rented this home to attend our reunion at the campus in the same town. The house is conveniently located to shopping, restaurants yet far enough away to be private and quiet. The owners live on the property in a separate building and were very responsive and attentive to our needs. For example, a short rainstorm came through and they proactively put towels out to dry the seating in the yard so we could use it that evening. We would stay again.

It was perfect in every way. Jeannie and Curt were awesome hosts and shared their love of the property and its history which made for a very warm and inviting stay. This extended to the property itself which was immaculate, extremely well stocked, and reflective of the family history of the house. The outdoor space was beautiful. This provided a nice respite from the craziness of graduation but with easy enough access. Jeannie and Curt shared information for local parks, restaurants, farmer's market, etc so there was plenty to do locally over our extended weekend. We left feeling refreshed, with a new appreciation for rural Indiana, and the people who call it home.

What a beautiful place! We couldn’t have been more blessed by using this house for our family at Thanksgiving!

This house and the hosts are wonderful. The house and all of it’s decor are beautiful. She really went the extra mile to make it look and feel special. There was plenty of room for everyone (at our fullest night there were 8 of us).
Not complaints but things to note: the 3 secondary bedrooms are upstairs while both bathrooms are down. This is something to consider with small children or anyone who might have difficulty with stairs. While the house has enough beds to sleep 12, people would be sharing rooms. It was perfect for our 4 couples.
Anything we needed was there. The homeowners live onsite but stay out of your way.
The yard was large and immaculate.
If we ever need to stay In Crawfordsville again, I would definitely book this beautiful house!

Absolutely the most charming farmhouse I have been in. Perfectly decorated and very functional. 8 Adults & a baby had time together that won't be forgotten. Jeannie & Curtis are the most welcoming hosts & super hospitable. I wish I could give them more stars.

This property is perfection! The home and grounds are stunningly beautiful. The linens and furniture were luxurious and comfortable. All the amenities were fantastic. The hosts are absolutely lovely and truly care about their guests' experience; they've thought of everything! We could not have picked a more wonderful location for a family gathering. You will want for nothing at this property except more time.

The farmhouse is a stunningly beautiful property. Do not pass it up. An incredibly restored and updated historical home, that wraps its guests in love and comfort. Host Jeannie goes above and beyond to provide for guests, including freshly baked cookies, indoor and outdoor spaces that invite quiet relaxation, and a beautiful setting.
We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect spot to stay, as we celebrated our son’s wedding nearby.

The house and property were just what we were looking for. The house was even larger with more character than it looks in the photos. Jeannie couldn't have been a more supportive host, including sharing fresh vegetables from her garden and cookies upon our arrival. Can't recommend this property enough for a stay with family and friends.

We just spent an amazing weekend at His Harvest Home! The home and owners were both incredible! The fresh baked cookies, fresh produce from the garden, country decor, and super comfy beds were just a few of things that made our weekend so enjoyable. Jeannie met us when we arrived and shared the history of the home while taking us on a tour. We will definitely be staying again the next time we visit the area! Thank you Jeannie for sharing your home with us!

We could not have asked for more from several different angles. These folks are the hosts with the most. Our every need was met and then some--and with a friendly smile. Spotlessly clean, impeccably maintained and with the visitors needs and interests
thought out well ahead of time. A+ isn't enough!!

First time using VRBO for our family: Grandparents, Aunt, Kids and Grandkids! His Harvest Home was five star
Such a blessing to have Curtis and Jeannie as warm and caring hosts!
Beautifully decorated, peaceful home, and outdoor areas for family fun! Garden produce, yummy cookies and rhubarb/strawberry filling that Jeannie made and shared for our campfire pie maker fun. Great trip!

Curtis and Jeannie were the most wonderful hosts with a breathtaking home. Every detail throughout the home was well thought out, creating a visually appealing and inviting space for our group. They not only had fresh baked cookies waiting in the kitchen for us, but they also had fresh cut flowers on the counter, outdoor games set up, two fire pits, fire wood, ample kitchen supplies and staples, and towels plus extra bedding. Our larger group felt right at home in their cozy space. Their unique home and property was our favorite home we’ve ever stayed at. The beds were all very comfortable, and the space was extra clean. We can’t wait to book this space again. Thank you for opening your home to us!

This was beautiful and well kept in every way! The decorating and extras such as blankets and books on the night stand made it feel like home and so inviting! We also enjoyed the large outdoor space, including both patio areas and outdoor games.

We held a ladies retreat at this lovely, peaceful home - His Harvest House. The home is beautifully decorated, extremely well filled with amenities, but most importantly you can feel the love that was shared by a family that is now sharing it with others. It was truly a blessed weekend!
