We enjoyed our time staying at the cabin. It’s location on mount Sherman

This was our second time to stay and we will probably stay again in the near future. The only problem we had was the wasp and we couldn’t get the grill to work.

We enjoyed our family reunion weekend at this cabin. The cabin was large and offered many bedrooms plus a table to seat 10! The hosts were attentive and quickly corrected some minor issues. A toilet was dirty (hair and trash in the bowl) but otherwise the cabin was clean and decently stocked for cooking. We came with a 1 year old so found the absence of railing on the front porch as well as the staircase inside a challenge. The listing lists a high chair and a baby bed but I did not see them; I suggest checking with the host in advance about specific amenities listed you plan to use.
The cabin provided a relaxing weekend for our family and we may be back with older kids!

We have the best time at this beautiful home. Very clean and plenty of room for families or friends. We enjoyed the location along with the town of Jasper and their friendly people. I would suggest eating at the cafe and pizza place, both were delicious and very friendly customer service.

We loved staying at this property. It’s very spacious and the sleeping arrangements were great. It’s equipped with everything you need. It has a large dining table, so we could all sit down and eat dinner together. We will stay here again.

Neat and tidy, well equipped
Only complaint would be the Internet failing a few times so we had to reset router while watching the football etc
Would stay here again for sure

Great family weekend getaway. Location is close to Ponca to see the elk and just a short drive to Jasper to eat and grab groceries. The cabin was clean and accurately described in listing. We will be back!

This property is in amazing proximity to Horseshoe Canyon Ranch. Although it is right off the road we were not bothered by traffic noise at all.
This is an older house so keep your expectations in line with that.
We would definitely stay here again.

House and property were as described. Lots of beds in large bedrooms for 9 of us. Kitchen well stocked. We grilled out back on the large gas grill. Big yard for kids to run around. Great location in between Ponca and Jasper. Horseshoe Canyon Ranch nearby is a beautiful gem and we took advantage of free access to the pool there, though we paid $10 pp for a day pass to rockclimb. Lots of temporary rentals these days have ridiculous chore lists to complete before checking out and we were pleased all we needed to do before 11 a.m. was take out the trash and wash and put away dishes. You won't regret booking the Tie Hack!

We loved the cabin. Lots of room for our large family (10). We weren't walking all over each other. Good location. Easy to find. Not too far from town. The cabin is really nice but could use a good cleaning. The sink in the downstairs bathroom wouldn't drain good. Would stay again though.

We all really enjoyed staying here. The location is perfect in order to explore Jasper & Ponca. The house was very clean and plenty big enough for us all to enjoy our weekend together and still have our own personal space if someone wanted to enjoy a little bit of solitude. There were a couple of minor issues such as the refrigerator started making a buzzing noise but it worked fine otherwise & the kids couldn’t figure out the TV (which I personally thought was a blessing). Memories were made & hopefully we will get to stay here again soon.

We had to wash almost everything before we cooked or ate out of them. This was our biggest gripe. House sits right beside main highway. We enjoyed the big house and beds were awesome.

My group of friends have been taking an annual trip to this area for almost 20 years now. This location is perfect. I have stayed multiple times with no issues. Thanks.

Great for a big group, including a giant dining table, plenty of seating, and ample beds. The location is super close to Horseshoe Canyon Ranch, which makes it a really convenient place to stay for a rock climbing trip, or if you just want to go use their hot tub/pool (which we didn't take advantage of). We had everything we needed, including plenty of towels and everything we needed to cook a few group dinners. Communication with the host was really easy and quick as well.

The Tie Hack easily slept the 10 of us. There was plenty of room for everyone to hang out in the living room, a huge dining table, and a well stocked kitchen. The house was well taken care of and clean. Right on the highway, with a nice side yard that kids had fun running around in. We loved hanging out on the porch all afternoon!

Clean, spacious, great location. I didn’t read the check in instructions before coming and forgot to bring toiletries which are not provided. Plenty of hot water, good water pressure, well-stocked kitchen. We would be happy to stay again!

Some friends and I came up here for Bible Study, and Hiking. It was truly an awesome house for us. The location was perfect, the house could be farther from the road, but in terms of its proximity to all the trails. PERFECT! Would come again and I highly recommend:)

We have stayed in the Tie Hack so many times that I have lost count. We love to go climbing as a family in Horseshoe Canyon and this is a fantastic option for lodging because it is a 5 minute drive from there. We will continue to go back for years to come!

Overall the property was good. It needs a deep cleaning as there is dirt around each air vent ans cob webs in most upper corners. We encountered numerous red wasp upon arrival and called to see what could be done. The lady we talked to was very nice but no help. She said we could see if the cleaning company left any wasp spray and that we could spray them ourselves. If there was no spray they would see what they could do. I would say we spent 30 minutes spraying wasp with Raid bug spray which by the way does not kill wasp. It just stuns them and we still had to step on them. We were a party of 10 staying for 3 days and they only provided 2 trash bags. We called and was told that they only provide 2 bags and that we would need to get more. Not sure how they expect a party of 10 to only use 2 trash bags. And just an FYI Those who stay here in the future might consider bringing their own toilet paper as the paper provided is thin enough to read through. Other than those things the property was good. Plenty of room for our family and the kitchen was stocked pretty well other than trash bags.

Great place, lots of space, beds were excellent. Restaurant availability was decent while riding along. Scenery was spectacular, good rosds for the most part. Driveway is paved to road but getting turned around was a little bit of a chore because of rocks along the edge but not to bad. Actually there's not much to want for. Jasper was nice little town. The Tie Hack just couldn't be much better. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Vertical nice property quiet, awesome location. We were in the area motorcycle riding and the area is wonderful. The cleaning people could do a better job. Beds were great no real complaints

We had a great time riding area roads on motorcycles with friends and relaxing at this cabin. There were even a couple of friendly dogs that showed up to guard our bikes overnight in exchange for a few pets and snacks.

We enjoyed our stay the cabin is beautiful. Although it rained the whole weekend we was there it was still comfy inside playing games and watching movies. The shower heads need some tending to and the utensils in the kitchen need some upgrading other then that it was very nice! Also in the pictures online unless I missed it, it only shows 3 bedrooms there's 4 bedrooms.

Great Location
We had a good stay at Tie Hack. The location was perfect for our daily motorcycle rides in the Ozarks. Plenty of room for all 7 of us. Was nice to have a gas grill and the washer/dryer worked great. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. The internet was not too bad considering the rural area. There were a few things that has some room for improvement. Definitely a problem with wasps on the front porch as you walk up from the drive that needs addressed. Two of us got stung. Some upkeep to the home needs attention. Plumbing fixtures in both baths, microwave handle about to come off, coffee pot has bad seal on lid that leaks on every pour and only 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom. The small things do make a difference. Overall…..we enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

Great place for a family with young boys
Some of our family couldn’t come so there were only 5 of us, 3 adults & 2 boys ages 10 & 12. We planned to raft the Buffalo River from here but the river was too low. We canoed it instead & had to drive 45 min. to St. Joe to do so. The house is rustic but was perfect for us. There were two nests of house finches on the back & front porch which was fun. Check in was easy. The kitchen has more dishes etc. than I’ve ever seen in a Vrbo except for the missing can opener mentioned in previous reviews. (Luckily I stuck one in.). We cooked all but one meal ‘in house’.
