About this villa rental

Gorgeous mid-century modern villa with ocean and mountain views. Sits perched atop a hill, far removed from any freeway noise, with 180 degree views of the Pacific Ocean on one side and the Santa Ynez mountains on the other.

Beautiful wrap-around front and back decks with comfy patio furniture for sunbathing, reading, outdoor meals, tea, or cocktails.

Comfortable for families. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Newly renovated with modern appliances and full washer/dryer, modern kitchen, high-speed WiFi, cable, and Netflix.

15 minute walk down to Summerland beach and 6 minute walk to center of town with cafés, restaurants, shops, and wine tastings.

Note: for additional security, there is an outdoor security camera located on the outside of the house, on the SW corner, facing the street. The front patio and the walkway to the street are visible from this camera.

We enjoyed our time in Summerland. Kitchen was completely stocked. Views were excellent. Lots of outside space to relax. Close to Santa Barbara and other small beach towns.

Really lovely house! Stylish and comfortable with amazing outdoor spaces. Really good beds and very well kitted out kitchen and living area. 10 minutes from Santa Barbara but your own space to enjoy it. Definitely recommend.

The house and location were super for our family party of 4. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need to prepare meals and relax in the beautiful gardens and outdoor spaces. Easy walk to the beach and coffee. Highly recommended.

Our Friends get away was wonderful. The Ville Verde was as described and didn’t disappoint. Summerland is a perfect place to stay if you want a great home town feel and it’s conveniently located to Santa Barbara. The Propert Manager was excellent to communicate with and very helpful.

This home was perfect for a girls weekend (4 of us). The communication with owner (Vanita) was great and she even allowed us a late check out. House was very clean and comfortable. Lots of games and access to Netflix was nice. We absolutely loved the location. A quick walk to the beach or the cute restaurants/shops in town (although a very steep hill to get there and back so be prepared!). The house is on top of a hill where we had a great view of the ocean. Great deck areas to sit outside the house and relax. Only about 10 min drive to downtown Santa Barbara. Overall, it was a great place to stay for a fun and relaxing weekend!

My grown children and I spent the weekend at Villa Verde. It was comfortable, a great locale, relaxing, and the living room was big enough for all 6 of us. Nearby shops, the beach, Montecito, and Santa Barbara… I recommend it!

My husband, son, and I went to spend Christmas with my daughter and son in law. There was plenty of room to enjoy ourselves, both inside and out. It’s a beautiful home, with beautiful grounds. The area is quiet, and the views are astonishing! The hosts were great communicators. We couldn’t have chosen a better place.

My husband and I, along with our two adult daughters, enjoyed a brief stay at Villa Verde in late October when we were in the area for a family wedding. We didn't get to spend much time just enjoying the property, but the house suited our needs perfectly. I would love to return in the summer and enjoy the inviting outdoor spaces. The hosts are kind and easy to communicate with. They have worked hard to create a comfortable home. Merci bien!

Beautiful home, backyard, gardens, and nice view. The bedrooms are a bit smaller and closer together than they look in the pictures, but everything was beautiful. The garden and outside spaces in particular were great to hang out in and enjoy.

The posted description of the place was exactly what we found... views of the ocean and mountains with lots of windows and bright light. We ate most meals at home and found the kitchen well stocked with most everything we needed. The throw blankets were appreciated while sitting around the cozy fireplace. The quaint town of Summerland had great shops and we even joined the local winery there. We had coffee every day at the local coffee place and enjoyed a lunch at Summerland beach cafe.

We loved our experience at Casa Verde. The house had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the surrounding towns, views and hikes. Communication with the owners was a breeze and our few questions were answered very quickly. We were sad to leave!

This VRBO was both beautiful and really a comfortable stay. There is plenty of space both inside and out for a family to be comfortable. We were in town for my daughter’s wedding and everything worked perfectly. It was clean, well stocked and spacious. The owner was fantastic to work with.

We were in Santa Barbara for my gf's family wedding and this was a beautiful property in Summerland that was close to the wedding events. It is also situated up the hill from some local shops and eateries which was nice. The house itself is spacious and comfortable. The owners were responsive to our questions and accommodations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had a working vacation with business in the area and time scheduled for beach days too. This was a sunny beautiful place to work while watching butterflies and listening to the wind chime. Easy walk to town, good workout coming back. Great location with quiet nights and east freeway access to get to Santa Barbara and montecito. Comfy beds, cute decor. Perfect stay !

The property was tastefully appointed with a variety of seating and outdoor viewing areas. The location is convenient for accessing the many nearby beaches, towns and attractions. Lush landscaping and distant ocean views contributed to a wonderful experience - as well as the peaceful nights and cozy beds. I would recommend to anyone interested in exploring the area or just kicking back with a book and glass of wine.
