About this villa rental

Barrineau Place is beautifully decorated and meticulously stocked with everything you will need to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The living room has comfortable reclining leather sofas and a 55 inch HDTV. The dining room table seats 6. The kitchen has everything you need for a short or extended stay and features granite counters, breakfast bar with 3 bar stools, stainless appliances. toaster, coffee maker, blender, spices, cookware and utensils. The master bedroom features a 42 inch
HDTV, large walk in closet and upgraded shower with seat. The second bedroom, hall bathroom and interior laundry room can be closed off for privacy. The 3rd bedroom has a sofa bed and desk with computer and printer with high speed wireless internet for your convenience. A gas golf cart is provided for your use as well as his and hers bicycles. The extended lanai is perfect for your morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine. Two separate areas for outdoor dining are provided along with a grill. The neighborhood pool is located only several blocks away at the Bonifay Country Club. Colony Plaza Shopping Center is conveniently close by. Brownwood and Lake Sumter Town Centers are also close by. Minimum rental is 14 days, 30 days during prime months. All guests reserving longer than 30 days receive a complimentary housecleaning. No pets.

This rental was awesome! Everything we needed was there. All we needed was groceries and Publix and Walmart were within 2 miles. We were close to multiple recreation centers and pools and were right between Lake Sumter and Brownwood squares. Can't say enough good things about the unit. Clean, quiet and well-stocked. Beds were comfortable.

Kitchen was poorly equipped, master shower head was held together with 2 zip ties and a Velcro strap, golf cart needs mirrors. Other than that the bed was very comfortable, location was good and the rest of the house was well equipped.

This clean and spacious villa is in a great central location. Less than I will call you back in about 15 minutes by golf cart to Sumpter and Brownwood Squares with great restaurants and nightly bands. Also, close to several Executive and Championship golf courses. We would stay here again!

We had a great time at The Villages visiting family and friends. This property on Barrineau Place is a beautifully appointed home and in a perfect location between Sumter Landing and Brownwood. Also located very close to golf and recreation center. It is just as described in the property description. This is our 2nd time renting this property and will definitely be back again.

This home is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. You should not want for anything. There are more supplies in this house than you should ever need. That includes a well appointed kitchen. A very nice golf cart is included with your stay. Using the golf cart you can easily travel to multiple pools, golf courses and even the Walmart shopping center. To help you navigate, I would recommend adding “THE VILLAGES” app to your phone. Under Destinations, Recreation & Business you will find directions for car or golf cart with full interactive map. The only negative (No faulted the owner) is limited parking . You may want to review your parking needs with Carol or her qualified staff. One midsize vehicle will not have any problems. Bottom line - BOOK IT !

This was the best vacation rental we have ever had, and we have rented many over the years. The house was just right; actually more like a home. Great layout and furniture and lanai. Lots of closet space and drawers. Especially wonderful to have were the extras so often lacking in vacation rentals -- plenty of TP, paper towels, trash bags, hangers, towels, detergent, etc. Everything was available for a wonderful stay of 2 1/2 weeks. We enjoyed using the golf cart to go to the neighborhood pool almost every day. And thoroughly enjoyed The Villages lifestyle. Hope to rent this home again next time we are in The Villages.

The location of the neighborhood was very nice. The house was as advertised. Everything was clean, kitchen was well stocked. Golf cart was in great condition. I would recommend this house. Barbecue was available included charcoal etc. Nice office area with computer and a selection of books available to read. New appliances. Nice refrigerator. Highly recommended.

This house was better than described. The house and contents were new or like new in a quiet setting close to everything. I cooked 3 meals a day and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cooking utensils. Also unmentioned in the description are 2 new bicycles. Someone mentioned in another review trouble with the internet or internet TV, I had no problems.

We had a WONDERFUL STAY!!! There were a couple of minor issues that we contacted Carol, the owner and things were immediately taken care of. She has this place stocked with everything one needs. Someone gave a review about the pots and pans being warped and not useable. We used them without issues but She had them replaced right away. Our opinion is AN EXCELLENT PLACE TO STAY

We didn't stay the whole time. Only 40% of the time did the internet work. TV was internet based service that spent more time buffering and freezing than working. Penny wise and pound foolish. House was well equipped with essentials and clean. Pots and pans were unusable - warped and all scratched up. We bought a skillet to be able to cook. Garage wont fit SUV. Golf cart is quite old and backfires often. Bed is like a rock. If you prefer FIRM you'll love it.

Carol’s villa is amazing. It is private, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The kitchen had everything you need to cook and there were abundant supplies. The golf cart was a nice treat and allowed us to explore the nearby areas. We hope to stay here again!

We had a great time here this past Winter. Carol thinks of most be everything you might need. She is very accommodating and fast to respond to any problem that may arise. The location of the house is close to everything it is between Sumter and Brownwood, two plazas, driving range and championship golf is real close. The home is nicely decorated it had all the kitchen appliances and gadgets that you need. There is a note book with a wealth of information which comes in very handy. The home is well stocked for every day needs. The home is well maintained and seemed very professional. There are extra pillows in each bedroom plenty of towels for each bathroom. There is a computer supplied that has short cut to more villages information. The only thing you have to bring is clothes and food just about everything else is supplied. I would highly recommend this property.

The home is nicely decorated, with comfy reclining sofas. The extended lanai is great for early morning coffee or an evening cocktail. Fernandina is a great location, with eady accessibility to Brownwood and Sumter.

everything really even the showers ,towels ,silverware the china ,pots and pans exceptional. We really enjoyed the flat screen television and comfort of pillows and mattress. Could not find a fly swatter to get rid of some small pesky flies we let in cooking outdoors .Also, thanks for the use of the phones and computer. We swept the hardwood floor twice and wasn't happy how it cleaned up or how the toilets flushed

Working with Carol was a pleasure, from our first conversation on. She thinks of EVERYTHING you may need to enjoy your stay. The furnishings and decor through out the villa were top of the line. We really enjoyed our stay and hope we can return next winter.
