What’s nearby
Head a few miles north and you’ll be in Lincoln City, one of the main hubs of the Oregon Coast, with plenty of activities and dining options. Right outside your door (aside from the beach) is the quiet community of Gleneden Beach. There isn’t too much around aside from a few local favorites like the Side Door Cafe—the perfect spot to grab a late lunch.
Things to know
The futon is in the living room.
Yes, there’s a dishwasher!
It’s a single-level home, so those with mobility issues should have no trouble.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Great…but dishwasher needs attention

We loved the views of the ocean from kitchen and living room - absolutely stunning. We spent the majority of our stay on the back deck enjoying the calming ocean views and sounds. Beach access is one house south of the house. We loved how dog friendly the property was with dog bowls, poop bags and couch coverings provided. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and brew coffee. There were extra linens for the hide-a-bed, extra towels and nice dove soap/shampoo/conditioner provided in both bathrooms. We hope to come back soon!

The view, location, the house itself, it being so pet friendly.

The view was spectacular. The amenities very well stocked. Fine touches, like little first aid kits avail, dog towel and bowls. Can’t wait to go back.

This is my second time at this house in 6 months. I love that it is off of the beaten path of Lincoln City. It works perfectly for me to get around with my walker. The house is dog friendly which is important because I love to travel with my fur buddies. My friends and I enjoyed time out on the deck in the evenings and mornings. We did bring our own deck chairs and barbecuer. We ate all of our meals at the house. Such a great little house. I will be back!

This house was a cute little beach bungalow, very casual and comfortable! It is directly oceanfront, on a bluff with a full view of the ocean, beach, and waves! There is a fenced backyard, and a lovely deck with deckchairs. The house is very dog friendly, and even provided dog bowls and dog towels! We brought blankets to put on the two couches to help keep them clean. There are 3 bedrooms, painted in bright tropical colors. The beds are comfortable and the window blinds keep the room dark for sleeping late! The heat is from the gas fireplace, and there is baseboard heating in one of the bedrooms (which we didn't try out). The kitchen is well-supplied, for our party of 3 adults. Great kitchen supplies of pots and pans, etc. The cooktop, oven and microwave worked great. Parking worked fine -- we had two cars, so one fit in the carport and one on the gravel strip next to the road. There's a wonderful sound of the waves to enjoy from the house, and it's very quiet in the neighborhood. There's a plentiful supply of games and jigsaw puzzles, too! Wish we could have stayed longer. We plan to come back another time.

It was perfect for us
We watched the waves, slept great. Played cards and truly relaxed

It's a great house with a great view of the ocean. No beach access from the house/yard. Access isn't far (one house to the south about 20 yds), but this access isn't the greatest for small children or older people. It's very steep with a rope to help go down and up. Very slick and lots of loose rocks. There's a better (and safer/easier) access about 3 blocks to the south but it's not a direct line. You have to go down Glen Ave which is a block above (East ) Neptune. Then about a block south to the Gleneden Day Use Beach Access. The house was great. Very clean and well maintained Wifi worked great. Nice deck and lawn area to sit and watch the Ocean plus great views from inside the house. Warm house and everything worked. Very dog friendly too. Has a car port that a car/mini van can fit in but not a truck or larger van. Street side parking is also available for larger vehicles. All around great house on the Oregon Coast.

This little house is the Best! My niece and my nephew's new little family and our dogs stayed here for an after Christmas family get away! It was perfect! My nephew kept complimenting the great layout of the house and how comfortable it was. It was great that the beach access was near by and the views from the deck and the windows...I will be back! My new favorite house! The little community of Glenden Beach is great too.
Thank you so much!

My family has been using us for years. We love this little house. It is perfect with the three bedrooms and the yard. We used to rent these huge houses and we would never use them. The view is amazing and we love the easy access to the beach.

Beautiful views made this a perfect getaway House was mostly clean and very well equipped. Customer service was very responsive and prompt. We will keep keep this place on our list!

The location was great! It’s perfect for 4 people. I don’t recommend this for families with small children. This house sits high on a bluff and children could fall off. Also beach access is tricky and steep. There is another access point one street over. The kitchen is well-equipped. I purchased a hair dryer and left it there for future guests.

overall very nice..had a great view of the ocean..loved that..but we could not see where the beach access was..it would be nice if that was written down in the house ..

The location and view of this house were just what we were looking for. After all the fees the total cost to stay at this house for 3 nights was just over 1k, which was alot of us. Initially walking in it appeared clean for a pet friendly house. That evening we found dirty sheets on all the beds, makeup on pillows and lots of human and dog hair. The sheets didn't feel clean, that soft, loose, warn in feeling. It was obvious they had not been washed. Which is unacceptable. I recieved a text asking about the cleaning of our house on the day of check in, I voiced my concerned and provided pictures. I also found a used bar of soap on the shower caddy in one bathroom while I was giving my young children a bath. EWW! Again I voiced my concerns and provided pictures. I got numerous 'I apologize ....' responses. I requested a portion of our money back for the issues we had and was told someone from 'Guest Experience' would get back to me. 3 days have gone by and I again reached out to inquire about my request. It was denied, so I am leaving this review as a warning to others looking to book with Vacasa in Lincoln City, OR. The 'professional cleaning' was well below standard. It is unacceptable to not have clean sheets and left over used things from previous renters in the home. Vacasa is not interested in the happiness and return stay of customers. I will not be staying in another Vacasa rental, I will save money and stay in a hotel for future visits.

View is fantastic. Nice big deck. Clean and plenty of linens. Needs updating in bedrooms but two of the beds were very comfortable, 3rd was very squeaky. We enjoyed our stay at the "Best Little Beach House"

Cute place overlooking the beach stocked with everything we needed to enjoy a nice week on the Oregon Coast. We had fantastic views of king tides crashing into the beach from the living room and patio and were lulled to sleep by the ocean at night. Overall, a great place to stay in Gleneden Beach.

Great location for views - the sound of waves crashing and the smell of sea air. Great little neighborhood.

Lower lockbox would not open. The kitchen floor was sticky. Sprayer in the sink leaked. Bed in the yellow room needed attention, squeaky and lumpy. The view was incredible but the yard needs a fence, we traveled with children and it was dangerous to let them in the yard alone. The drop to the beach from the yard without a fence is a disaster waiting the happen. We paid a considerable amount of money for less than adequate facility.

Great views
We enjoyed our stay - the front bedroom and living room have a beautiful view of the beach. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-appointed. We didn't bring our dogs, but the dog set up was cute - there are toys in the backyard just for them. We had no trouble getting down to the beach, but this is not the place for you if you can't climb down a rocky hill. The hill has a rope for support, which the kid enjoyed.

Nice location
This little place is very nice and has a perfect view right on the ocean. The only drawback is that the tv services and remotes don’t function well and there are no directions to show how to turn on the fireplace.

Best house on the beach
The view of the ocean. Loved the size of the house and how it was furnished. We wish that there had been a beach access near by that was safe for seniors to get to beach. We went to Lincoln City and got on the beach there.

Beach access?
Everything was wonderful except beach access. While the access to the beach was close, it was too steep and not safe for anyone with mobility issues. Otherwise, we loved the house!

Nice!
House was clean and very comfortable. Kitchen was very well supplied. Views are spectacular. Beach access is a wee bit tricky, but once you get down the rocky path it’s great.

Nice digs, clean, good mattresses, the wind noise can be a bit much.

Comments on Gleneden beach unit
Everything was great. But, unit was not "on the beach". Unit was on a cliff about the beach with no nearby access to the beach. Also, no instruction for use of TV and fireplace

The view
Love this property. We will be back! House is comfy and the view is spectacular.

This house had good space for 3 couples and was comfortable. The kitchen had the basics so we were able to cook meals together. You didn't even have to leave the house to see the amazing view with all the windows overlooking the beach! From the yard just off the deck, you could see down the beach both ways for miles. We enjoyed sitting there and watching the sunset. The view is seriously the best! There were a few things that made me give this a lower review in a couple areas. First, there were 2 lock boxes, one for the deadbolt key and one for the door handle key. They had changed the code on one but not the other, so we couldn't get in. I called property management and it only took 3 minutes to get it resolved and we were in. They were very nice and apologetic. Second, one of the bathrooms had a large black stain on the linoleum floor which looked like it may have been mold at some point. The bathroom had an overpowering bleach smell and it started getting to us. The other bathroom had a plugged toilet when we got there and we had to plunge it. And last, I was disappointed with the beach access. When we booked the property, I made a comment that I was excited this property had such easy beach access for my elderly parents. When we got there, we found out that unlike how it looks in the picture, the house is up on a hill with a steep drop off just off the yard. (Just a heads up for people with pets and small children, there is no barrier. We had to keep yelling at our dog to stay away from the edge because she tried to take off over the side a couple times.) And the beach access you walk to was so steep and rocky, they have a rope for you to hold on your way up or down. I wish they would have said something so we could have picked a property more appropriate for my parents. They didn't get to go down to the beach at all while we were there. They just enjoyed the view from the yard. Once we got the kinks worked out upon arrival, we had a nice time and enjoyed the incredible views.
